"Sounds good." Ryuu lightly patted his pocket, glade that Tip was better. He made sure eveyrbody was there and started heading back.

"Hey, Ryuu, what are we suposed to do in this ceremony? Do we have to dress up and stuff or is it like we just show our powers or what is it?" asked Anna, walking in step with him.

"You don't have to dress up much, just look nice. First you'll be meeting people. Then well have a big dinner, so I hope your hungry. And then... most likely you'll be showing your powers. You might even be going against somebody in a battle." Ryuu told her. Ryuu wasn't looking forward to tonight. Haru was going to be there.... and him and Haru do not get along well.

"Oh, that sounds cool," Anna said. "So should I head home and grab a dress? I think that blue one would look nice..." she mused to herself, seeing herself in various outits. "And how should I do my hair?" Then she was lost in the female's work of looking good.

"Anna, I think it would be more fitting if you wore our clothes." Zelik said with a smile.
"What I mean is, clothing that comes from our world as well as the forest. As for your hair....I'm sure Saku would like to help."
"I don't even fix my own hair." Saku said abruptly. "It's stupid to dress up to impress people..."
Zelik sighed. "At any rate, let's head back." Zelik gathered the euqipment he brought but never used, and started back for the hideout.

As the ceremony grew closer their fates were becoming more and more sealed. The deeper into the magic they dove the more it would control who they became. A dark and desperate time calling to three hero's to save it. Many dangers lay ahead and one was lurking ever so close by, watching and waiting. A dark feeling was hidden upon the wind, pressing upon the land.
*que evil laugh and the appearence of red eyes that disapear into darkness*

"Oh, that sounds cool..." her voice trailed off as she gave an involuntary shiver. "Sorry. It felt like someone was just walking over my grave." They walked back to the hideout, and Anna relized for the first time that it was actually a whole bunch of growing things like trees that were covering up the hideout. "I can probably use that to train..." she thought to herself. They went in and Anna went off to take a bath, Jiyo flying behind her. She turned her head as she tunred a corner. "Saku, I'll do your hair if you want. I like doing that, and I'm good at it."

"I don't want-" Saku started but Zelik interupted.
"She'd love to let you." He said.
"But!"
"Sake, this is a big deal. The whole forest is getting ready to greet you. It wouldn't hurt." He said.
"Fine..." Saku muttered.

"Yay!" squeeled Anna happliy. She grabbed Saku's hand and pulled her down the hallway to her room. Once in the spacious room, she pulled out a chair in front of a large mirror. She began pulling out several bottles and combs that she found around the room.
"So then..." she began to sniff at the bottles and smiled. "Yeah... yeah ginger is the perfect scent for you. Sharp but sweet." She started to pull up Saku's hair. "When was the last time you did your hair for something?" she asked.

"Never." Saku said, wincing as Anna hit a knot. "Everyone always assumed I was a boy because my hair's so short and I'm flat chested. It's not like I cared...but people made fun of me for dressing like a boy- OUCH! Not so hard..." She hissed, shutting one eye from the sharp pain.

"Sorry," said Anna. "Geeeeeze, girl, have you never heard of hair conditioner?" Her forhead crinckled in concentration as she pulled out another knot. "Anyway..."
She began to look for some scissors ro give Saku's hair a trim. "Haven't you ever tried to look really good for a guy that you liked in a way that he liked? My mom got my dad's attention by dressing in his favorite color." She sniped off some more hair. "You know, being flat-chested and having short hair dosn't make you any less good looking. You just have to learn to use it the right way."

Saku frowned at herself in the mirror.
"Maybe..." She said. "But I've never tried. I've never liked anybody. People hated me so I hated people...That was how it was." She fell silent for awhile as Anna cut her hair.
"You know....I once thought I was a boy in a girl's body...Maybe that's what other people thought too. I never acted feminine and my temper doesn't help either....My real name is Sakura, by the way. My father was Japanese, so they named me after the cherry blossoms that were blooming in Kyoto where I was born. We moved here after my father died. I was two, and since people always assumed I was a boy growing up,so I changed my name to Saku, hung out only with guys, and got into alot of fights just to prove I was tough...It still bothered me sometimes, but I'd just shrug it off or laugh in their faces...In retrospect, it was a really awful thing to do. Especially to my mother who worked so hard to give us a good life. She was always blamed for my actions, because I had to act tough and stupid....and..." Saku sobbed, her fists clenching her knees.
"When this is all over...I'm going to become a better person for her. She never deserved the hell I've put her through..."

Anna bent down and hugged Saku until she was done crying. She stroked her hair in a comforting gesture and then smiled.
"You know what, Saku? My only job tonight is to make you and everyone esle realize just how beatiful you are." So saying, she stood up and she began to run around the entire hideout, looking for just the right things. Everyonce in a while she could be heard saying things like "AHA!" and "Bingo!" before running back into her room with her arms full of things. She dumped all of them on a table in the bathroom where Saku still sat. "Saku, stand up- wait, put this blindfold on first!" she said handing her a long strip of cloth. When she did, Anna threw a silky fabric over her head and for a while, she had to stand there while Anna made alterations and stuff. When she was done, Anna put something on her ears and neck and wrist.
"Done!" said a somewhat tired Anna. When she took the blindfold off, Saku stood in front of the mirror in a long white gown with stones like diamonds on her. Her hair framed her face, making her eyes look large and mysterious. Anna stood on the side, smiling. "Yeah... Normally that would have taken me a whole day working non-stop. But," she smiled guiltily "I kind of borrowed energy from the trees. I hope you like it.

Tip buzzed anxiously inside Ryuu's pocket. His wings fluttered a bit.
"cloud" he said "i hear clouds heart beat"
A dark figure was seen sitting in the trees looking in on Ryuu. It quickly vanished from site and tip settled down again. Disapointed that he had not gotten to see her, if it had been her at all.

Saku blinked several times. Mostly from the adjustement to the lights, but also becuase she looked like a different person. It was her, her face, her body...But she still couldn't help feeling like she was looking at a stranger. She was actually...pretty.
"I....Uh..." She blinked again and touched her face to be sure it was her.
A smile slowly slid across her face, but she couldn't say thanks. She was too speechless.
"I wish I could help you get dressed..." She said. "But I'm not good with that kind of stuff..." Her smiled turned appologetic.
Zelik, allready changed and ready sat quietly in the opening room thinking about how smoothly things would go at the ceremony. Forest ceremony's were always a big deal so there was sure to be practically everyone there who would be supoorting them. Zelik smiled. He wondered how shocked they would be to see him "Back from the dead". Plus, not only was he alive, but his "warriors" were three humans. Oh he had faith in them. There was no doubt that they possessed powers. But he wondered how everyone else would react. The loose clothes he was wearing felt slightly uncomfortable to him, since he was used to wearing breeches and a tunic. He shifted slightly and tapped his chin as he waited.
