Xenostatica "Oh that's a lot to have on your mind..." Sadie gave her a hug. ((Be back soon)) ((busy with IMs stressed )) Admittedly, it was quite a bit to have on one's mind.. Rae hugged back, placing her mug on the stout windowsil. "Thank you Sadie, but dont worry about me too much, hmm? I'll be alright." she said, putting on a brave smile.~Meanwhile, near Raevaan's maple log..~Kii knelt down upon the ground, propping herself with one hand as she peered into the dark hole in the center of the log. Her raccoon tail swung high in the air, her companion Maervaye looking down from the top of the fallen tree at Kii.
Sitting up, Kii brushed her long slender ears and navy blue bangs back from her grey eyes. She furrowed her brow and pursed her lips. "I cant see if she's in there.. Maer?" she asked the small tomyu, "Is she anywhere nearby?"Maervaye closed her eyes, her orange and pink wings fluttering slightly. The little tomyu didnt stand much more than five or six inches in height, and so had to look up at her Guardian. "I dont sense her around here anywhere.. at least nowhere nearby."
The little fae-like girl waving her arm at the log she stood on. "Wouldnt this be a bit too cold for her to sleep in if winter here is anything like where you're from?"

Sadie turned to Rae quickly... "I do worry that's what makes me a friend, but..." she sighed and shook her head. "i will be back soon" she stepped out into the forest.

Raevaan nooded, "Alright, I think I'll rest here for a little then.." she waved to her friend before seating herself in a chair. She finished off what was left of the cocoa she'd been given, and found herself staring at the sky through the window again.. Slowly she began to fall asleep, and was soon dozing quite uncomfortably on the chair.

Sadie moved through the woods surprised by the noise around her. There are a lot of cats out tonight, she thought as she moved in the shadows.

Kii(Human) and Maervaye(Tomyu)
Kii blinked, looking down at the fallen maple. Needless to say it wasn't exactly the best thing to fend off the bitter cold of winter.. Perhaps there was something that would help in her spellbook.
"I suppose your right Maer," she said, removing her uncle's spellbook from her grey satchel. "Now, lets see..." She flipped through the pages, going straight for the enchantments section of the book. "Ahh.. now..."
Maer watched Kii carefully, tilting her head to the side as her guardian began to read silently from her book. The small tomyu flittered her wings, bringing herself from the maple log onto Kii's right shoulder. She kept her senses open to anything wandering close by.. Being an empath had its advantages, as nothing would really sneak up on them.

*Hears padfalls of a larger creature near him and stops for a moment...think to himself..."What that?" and then gets up to follow the creature.*
