Shikamaru looked at her for a moment, a bit surprised that she could see somewhat. "I'm going to prevent him from turning into...well a monster for lack of a better word." He looked down at Kiba who was still unconscious and moved some of his hair out of his face. "You do not want to be down here when I start."

Hinata became slightly flushed but shook her head slowly. "I...I want to s-stay by Kiba-kun's side..." She said quietly. She moved from the doorway, sliding a hand along the wall to know where she was and stood inside the room. "I...I c-can h-handle it."

"Don't say I didn't warn you." Shikamaru said then pointed. "There's a bucket there if you decide you need it." he then turned to a dresser that was built into the wall and took a few things out. He cut Kibas shirt open and pulled it off, then did the same with his pants. Setting the scissors aside, he picked up a knife and made a slice down the Inuzukas chest.
The pain woke Kiba up and he yelled out in pain. He tried to sit up but found himself strapped down to the table. "Dammit, let me the ******** go!" he growled and pulled at the cuffs but they were made strong enough to even hold a vampire. "You again?! Where the hell did you take me, you b*****d!"
Shikamaru ignored Kibas yells and made another cut, this one on his stomach and a little deeper. There was already a scar here from earlier, but it wasn't caused by his hands, but Kibas own.

"Hinata...Kiba is acting this way because of you, you know that?" Shikamaru said suddenly and looked up at the girl. "When he sees you, the pain he felt when he was in the village comes back and he gets angry. Judging by his current state, he got aroused and that only fueled his anger because he wants you, but part of him was still fighting that which is why it's gone as far as it has." he looked away and set the bloody knife to the side. "He didn't want to hurt you."

Hinata's eyes grew wide and she fought down a small scream. She took another step from the wall and moved the closer to the two vampires. "I-is th-there anything I c-can d-do t-to he-help?" She asked quietly when she was in arms reach of Shikamaru. "I w-want t-to h-help."

"No, you may not." Shikamaru said firmly. You will not touch him...not as long as I'm around. "It wouldn't be good for you to hurt him and he would only feel more guilty than he's already going to." he looked down into Kibas pain filled eyes, noticing that the glow had faded but he still had not returned to his usual self. "Though there is one thing you could do to help. You could leave here and never come back. You being around will only cause more of these episodes. Because of Kiba, I believe you wouldn't leak word to your village of our whereabouts or even our existence." Kiba would be pissed at me though...she'd probably be killed before she could make it back.
"No, she's mine!" Kiba tugged on his restraints again when he saw Hinata near by. "Come a little closer so I can give you a kiss..." he smiled and ran his tongue over his long incisors.

Hinata's eyes grew wide and her face flushed slightly. "D-do you mean it...?" She asked her eyes flicked to Kiba. If I leave Kiba-kun will get better. Then I'll leave. Kiba-kun will be better then. She looked back over to Shikamaru and nodded. "G-good-bye K-kiba-kun." She said. She turned around before either vampire could see her crying. She made it to the doorway before she slid to the fllor and brust out sobbing. She didn't want to leave her friend behind alone. He's not really alone. She reminded herself. "C-can I bring A-akamaru b-back f-for him?"

"No, come back!" Kiba howled and once again struggled against the bindings as Hinata left. "A-ahhh!" he screamed again, but this time it was from Shikamaru driving the knife into one of his arms.
"Let her go, Kiba, it's better this way. It's better for both of us if she's gone. Didn't you tell me that you never wanted to hurt her? You did hurt her and wouldn't have done worse. Until you kill this monster in you, she's not safe around you."
"Hi...na...ta." Kiba whispered and blinked back tears, some from pain but others from his sadness. He was starting to come back to himself and was looking at Shikamaru with now clear eyes. "Sh-shika...what did I do? Please say that Hinata is okay!"
Shikamaru looked down at Kiba and set the second knife to the side. "I think she was emotionally hurt by what you did. You'll have to ask her though." he left Kibas side and went to where he could hear Hinata crying. "...Hinata, he wants to see you. He's back to his normal self so if you want to...you can."

Hinata sniffed and looked up to Shikamaru. "H-he wants t-to see m-me?" She stod up slowly, using the wall to support herself. "D-does t-that me-mean h-hes o-okay?" She looked up at Shikamaru again, tears still in her eyes. "I I wa-want t-to s-see h-him."

"I'll wait here. Just...don't get too close to him, alright? And whatever you do, no matter what he says, don't untie him." Shikamaru said firmly, then sat down on the top step to wait.

Hinata nodded, wipping her eyes as she stummbled back down the steps and towards the room she had just left. She looked in, glad her eyes had adjusted to the darkness. "K-kibakun?" She asked quietly, walking closer to the table her friend was on.

"Hinata...I'm sorry for whatever I did. I didn't hurt you, did I?" He watched her slowly heading towards him, actually glad for the restraints at the moment. I feel like I did something I shouldn't have. I must have if it's come to this. Kiba thought as his gaze moved to the knife still stuck in his arms and the wounds on his chest and stomach.

Hinata's pale eyes fell to her front but she shook her head. Kiba already looked sad, he didn't have to know what he had done. "N-no." She looked up again and tried her best to give her friend a smile; it didn't work. "T-that m-must h-hurt, K-k-k-kibakun." She stummbled over his name. "D-do y-you w-want m-me t-to t-take i-it o-out?"

"If I hadn't done anything, you wouldn't be terrified of me right now. There's no use hiding it from me, Hinata, I can feel exactly what you're feeling right now." Kiba felt a tear slide down his face and cursed silently. Since when had he become so pathetic? "And yeah it does hurt, but it's necessary."

Hinata took another step closer and then another until she was at the edge of the table. She slowly pulled the knife out and putt it with the other. "I-I'll g-get o-over i-it s-soon." She wipped the tear away and gave him a small smile. "I-iI'll b-be o-okay."
