Loki smiled. "I imagine you were, considering the fact your trying ot be secret in the woods." He looked sideways at Kinovu for a moment and then returned his gaze to Akuma. "Why here, anyways? It was probable I would find you."

"Well," Akuma stammered. Might as well tell him, they're was no reason to lie, now that they had been caught. "Kinovu took me here because he told me it was a beautiful place. We both knew the consequences of being caught, but the forest is so big that we both thought that the probability of being caught to be very low . . . And, yes. We were trying to be secret in the woods as well. But, where's the harm in helping each other, even if we are in different tribes?"

Loki bit his cheek to contain his laughter. Oh, they were doing more than helping each other. "Helping each other?" He lifted an eyebrow in amusement. "Come now, surely you two had a better excuse than that."

"That's what are original intentions were. After he helped me out, I helped him look around for herbs. We stumbled on a little open area filled with them. Then we decided to, well, tend to the herbs in that little alcove, kind of like a garden. We also decided to get herbs for each other from our different tribes like an herb trade. It was kind of for the better of both tribes." Akuma explained. Her eyes narrowed at him. "How do you know that we were being secret in the woods anyway?"

Loki laughed at the challenge; Kinovu had apparently found himself a spitfire. He stood up, using size to his advantage. He looked out to the forest for a moment, then cast a sideways glance at Akuma. "Akuma, I have 8 confirmed tribe members and Sahari in this forest, and from the sound of it, two others have been discovered. Every one of those tribe memebers can frequently be found wandering the forest, for recreation or doing their job. If you two had nothing to hide, someone would have found you before I did. It's that simple."

Akuma sighed in defeat. "Still, we just hoped for a good time. Your tribe is big, I know, but still. . ." She glanced at Kinovu. "I can't bear to leave him forever . . ."

Akuma sighed. "Maybe this wasn't gonna work out . . ." She looked at Kinovu. Her heart ached to never be able to see him again . . .

Katachii Rae groaned melodramatically. "Great, just what the tribe needs! Another Itsuki." She laughed and finished brushing snow off of Kyou. "At the rate this is going, stress alone will make me sick again!"Loki nodded, but said nothing. He was curious to hear what Kinovu had to say.

Chaussure walked quietly to a place where she could watch the scene unfold. She had heard of foxes commiting themselves to tribes before they fell in love, and she knew it must be hard. She stayed quiet as to not disturb them, but silently wished that Loki would handle the situarion gently.

Rae laughed and nodded her head in agreement with Kyou. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, Itsuki," she said teasingly.

Loki looked out of the corner of his eye and saw Chaus. Seeing her there was a great reminder that he knew how these two felt; he remembered panicking about what tribe Chaus would choose. Still, he knew what he had to do, and pushed his own emotions aside. He sent her a small smile, letting her know he wasn't going to be too harsh on the two in front of him.

"Exactly!" Itsuki exclaimed. "Wait... what?"
Terra laughed. "She means that our happiness is all that matters to her," Terra said, nodding.
Kyou chuckled at his sister's false interpretaion of Rae's words. "Yes, becase as far as you know, Itsuki, we all love you."

Rae giggled at Itsuki and Terra. "Exactly what Kyou said. If you want to believe we love you, go right ahead." She stuckher tongue out childishly.
