A low chuckle escaped from Vyn's slightly parted lips, the shadow behind her flickering in amusement. So caught up with the little draconet's silly antics, Vyn didn't even realize that Lazarus had approached the booth and was now helping a customer in front of the booth that she should have been assisting. "Work" was a foreign concept to her, one that Vyn didn't understand at all. When Rivener asked her to work at the booth with him, Vyn thought the other Raevan simply meant that she could stay here and look at the flowers. Perhaps she couldn't leave the booth? Maybe that was why it was called "work"?
These things didn't really preoccupy the Shadow Frei's mind. Vyn as of yet was still a creature of pleasure, only concerned with what was immediately amusing and pleasing and paying little heed to that which was not. Bending over until her nose was almost touching the ridge of the Gwee's nose, her yellow-black eyes bright and staring directly into the little dragon's large ones, openly entranced by the multitude of colors reflected in the Gwee's eyes and scales. Coincidentally, her current position also gave any passerby a rather clean easy view right down her cleavage, but cooped up in Shuura's apartment too much to know the rights and wrongs of the world, Vyn didn't realize that this might be a bad move on her part.

Shaking her head as she watched yet another roll go crashing in the pan, Jae Eun decided that it was high time she got something to eat and drink. Unplugging her headphones, she heard a call for flowers and refreshments not too far away. This wasn't so bad! Maybe she had just been seeing things with the floating bodies...
Walking over towards the refreshments booth, she paused. She had surely identified the source of the sweet voice she had heard earlier. It was...another floating body?!
OK....the other one was DEFINATELY red...and yet..thi-no, wait, there's two, these TWO are blue-ish and purple-ish....maybe I'm not just seeing things...wait. The red one is there too!!
She paused a moment, deciding in the end that the less crowded side with two bodies would be more convenient...not to mention the blue one seemed intelligent! Walking up, she felt her cheeks starting to turn pink, whatever it was, it was definately handsome!! It reminded her of the ball-joint doll she had at home, the one her grandma had bought for her 18th birthday. His hair looked really soft, too! The other one had a strange charisma as well, but the skull pendant...necklace...thing creeped Jae Eun out a bit. How embarrasing! She already had a boyfriend, and yet this thing was making her blush!
"Hi! Do you have any pink lemonade?" she asked, smiling warmly.
Well, they didn't look like they'd jump out and attack her...or set her on fire...or something....maybe she could ask them what was going on with their lack of legs!

Sam presently was stuffing his face with cookies and not so sneakily stalking Dr. Kyou. He glared at the other scientist he had tried to talk to whenevver he got close to him, even though he seemed rather oblivious to Sam's presence. Sam chugged down the last of his lemonade and shoved the last cookie inot his mouth. He gave one last glare at the various scentists he had identified, and retreated once again to the refresments booth.
Staring, but not in a hostal manner, at the red raevan working the refreshments booth, Sam ordered another dozen cookies and a lemonade. Wincing at the few bills he had left in his wallet, Sam held out the money for the red raevan to take. He got his cookies and turned around only to find a girl with headphones directly behind him.
"!!!" Sam made a started noise and barely avoided a head on collision with the girl, complete with cookies and lemonade.

Aphismet was impressed. Yet another highly schooled person... Suddenly aph felt very small in comparison. He looked around when Alex did the same, wondering what she might be looking for. "A domesticated study? How... interesting." He had no idea what anthropology was, but he figured zoology had something to do with zoos, animals... Maybe she had a pet monkey or something? He'd meet it later, no doubt!
When she asked him what he did, and if he worked for the Lab, Aph just blushed slightly and shook his head sheepishly. "Oh, erm, no. I don't have any qualifications for that," he said. "I just received Rivener quite randomly, I'm still not quite sure why. Dr Kyou must have his reasons. I help out sometimes when Chloe asks me; she works for the lab." He motioned at the pink haired receptionist.
"A-as for my job, I'm an apprentice chef," he said, with a little more pride, happy to get to mention his recent promotion from unpaid busboy, to paid apprentice (now that he was done working off the debt). "I work at the Crystal Carafe, over in Durem."

Eiry watched the exchange between his brother and the other icy raevan and it seemed like Rivener was doing a better job of cheering up Roux than he did. In a way, Eiry felt happy that the ice frei was better, but he was sad that he wasn't the one to have helped him. In fact, now he felt rather alone the way they turned their attention upon each other and seemed to build a strange invisible wall. Eiry furrowed his brows and he tried say something, but no words would come to his throat. He didn't know what words to say. He did know, though, that he didn't want to be forgotten.
Making a soft whimpering sound, Eiry reached for his brother and tugged lightly at his arm.

Isi nodded at Chloe as she left and he held the Lazarus doll close to him. She was always running around and working, she was, that Chloe, Isi thought proudly. The boy looked around for someone to talk to, but there was thought in th eback of his head that told him to find his raevan.

He would trust Rivener, he would believe him. How couldn't he when the other was so close, voice so soft, eyes so focused on Roux. It was a little annoying having his hair touched, especially when one of Rivener's fingers occasionally caught on a few strands, but over all it was..
..comforting..
He closed his eyes, relaxing slightly, only to tense up and open them again quickly as he heard the green Raeven's whimper. He reached for Rivener and Roux gave a small sound of displeasure, holding the other's hand tightly.
For a moment something feirce flared up in him before he quelled it, instead looking up into Rivener's face to be sure the other kept his attention on -him-. The minty Raeven wasn't a compitition by far, in fact his apperance was rather plain in Roux's opinion. His wings were a source of particular contempt, but that was simply because they were grander than Roux's.. at least now that all of his own feathers were falling out.

Cruzle Ravi glared at his companion. He'd been rude, clumsy, and difficult the whole five minutes Ravi had spent with him. Was he even worth sticking around? In his usual state Ravi would have left easily and without regret or hesitation. But now, the man's confident, though brash, air was almost a comfort. Yeah. About as comfortable as those grass-woven blankets. Ravi sighed.
"It's nothing," he said, though the opposite was true. "Just got a chill. And what's your problem?" Ravi asked, quirking an eyebrow at the man. "Not so smooth tonight, are we?"
The young man slouched at Ravi's biting comment. Glowering like a child, he pulled his scarf tighter around his face to hide his sore pride. "Smooth? Sorreh, I'm no used to ladies. Crack whores are a lil' easier ta work with..." We`rika sniffed dryly and ended the subject. But a sly toothy smile opened another. "I said I'd buy ya a kiss right? Who can ya woo?" The Huichol closed the distance between them, placing an arm around the man's shoulder. He didn't even think he knew the guy's name.... Ah well. "Who d'ya wan'?" He cooed teasingly. "What about him? Ohh he hott, eh? Or him?" We`rika neglected to mention Chloe as he already had dibs.

Ravi smirked. Perhaps this long-eared fellow wasn't so bad, after all. Not only did Ravi manage to embarrass him, but somehow the guy was able to saunter up to him and swing an arm around his shoulders. For a man half a foot shorter than him, the move seemed impressive. Annoying, but noteworthy. If touching people was worth accolade.
Once We`rika started mentioning kissing again, however, Ravi turned a bright violent red... or would have, if he were paler. As it was, his tanned skin grew only a little bit tanner, but his body temperature definitely shot up. Definitely something the shorter man would notice, if Ravi kept letting him hang on him the way he was.
And why was he only pointing out males? Well, not that it REALLY mattered, but Ravi guessed that his friend-by-mistake seemed to play for his own team. Guess it wasn't such a bad thing. Maybe life was easier that way. Or something. Anyway, since it wasn't the issue at hand, Ravi pulled the long-eared man's arm down from around his shoulders and shook his head. "I'm not... interested. But since you have a lot of money to spend, have fun." He almost spat out the last word. How could you feel good about kissing someone when they'd kissed so many other people? Ravi wasn't afraid of germs, but he'd read up on enough diseases to know what was "careful" and what was "stupid."

Alex rubbed her lower lip, thinking while Aphismet talked. He wasn't sure why Doctor Kyou gave him the Raevan? That's curious, she mulled, but so is the doctor. She was relatively certain she'd seen the man at his booth, but so much had happened already that she couldn't quite recall.
The woman grinned when Aphismet mentioned where he worked. "Two wonderful people I've met work in Durem, both in a place of food. So you're a chef! That's remarkable! Not everyone can be one, you know. Even if you learn how to cook, you really need to know what that extra something is to make the dish work." She praised his profession, smiling softly at the idea of the man in an apron and chef's hat. "Maybe I should ask you to make lunch and have a picnic instead of taking you out," she smiled, only partially joking. Alex surprised herself. Was...was she flirting? She coughed a little and grinned, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.
Lorenzo was utterly hypnotized by the female Raevan and her gorgeous chuckle. Her rose-petal hair and her lightly glowing eyes reminded him of the sunset back home, only the colors were eternal in her lovely lashes. To Zoe, she smelled simply divine, like roses and fresh, dew-lit soil. It was comforting to be near her. He didn't need a reason, as he was also a creature of simple desires and interests himself, with no conception of reponsibility. Right now, his enjoyment and adoration was all for the woman who was lavishing attention on him.
The Gwee barely inched his nose forward, touching hers, before chittering in a sound not unlike laughter. He did it again, then covered his nose with his little paws, his eyes squeezing into half-rainbows of pleasure. Her skin was like the rose she bore, velvety and exotic, even to the little reptile. He was quite enjoying Vyn's company, for she was agreeable to all his senses.

"Wha?" The young man's ears fell back against his skull. If he could bat his eyes, We`rika would have, but he didn't think it would do any good on his friend. But vulgarity worked last time. "Dun be a puss! I dragged ya this far, I'lla keep goin'..."
He tugged at Ravi's sleeve, but didn't forcibly haul him elsewhere. He was a little too pre-occupied with getting to Chloe before another pack swarmed her!

Ravi had sighed many times already that day, and he would continue to sigh if he kept letting this man's words bother him. Since his lungs were getting tired of the effort, Ravi letting the foul language pass by unnoticed and rolled his eyes a little.
"Let go and I'll follow." It wasn't a bad deal, Ravi thought. I get my arm, and you get your... kisses. It was all Ravi could do to keep from wrinkling up his nose. It wasn't kisses he hated, really, but rather the... ambience that rose from from so intimate a relation. Frankly, it creeped him out. Why did people have to act so strange sometimes? Why couldn't they remember that they were civilized, organized, respectful human beings?
Remembering that he was surrounded by things far from human, he bit back a snort. Regardless... closeness wasn't something Ravi had ever gotten accustomed to.
After they'd walked a few steps, Ravi remembered that he'd never really had his question answered. "First, what's your name?" He pressed again.

We`rika was almost going to run the last few meters til his friend piped up behind him.
"Oh.. ehh... We`rika... Eh" He almost forgot to ask the other man, "You?" He really was interested, really, but he couldn't help but fidget and move from one foot to the other. He wanted to see Chlooooe! He kept looking back to make sure he wasn't chasing a ghost. Yeah, he was a whiner, b***h b***h b***h, he'd heard it all before.

"We`rika?" The name was pleasant, almost crinkled or rickety, like a hot afternoon spent on an old, unsanded hammock in the middle of nowhere. It had its own appeal. Gave off that nomadic vibe, that tribal but civilized feel. New and ancient at once. The man's mother must have had high hopes for him.
Though We`rika was distracted, Ravi thought he may as well answer the man's question, if only for propriety's sake. "Call me Ravi," he said, tone finally relaxing to its usual low timbre.
Ravi wondered about the man's ears, but decided to forget about it. Not a lot of people on Gaia had completely human limbs, anyway. In a sense, Ravi was a rarity.

Tsu cursed his misfortune all day. Finally a rather attractive woman approaches his booth, and Chloe cuts him off. What are the odds of that happening? Once finished he tried to pick up the conversation where it left off, acting like the interruption didn't happen and he brushed it off.
"Thanks for noticing the shirt. I felt festive" Tsu easily replied with a grin. Something about this Natsuki gal was familiar. "This might sound sudden and odd, but I get the feeling I've met you somewhere before. Something about your eyes sets off my memories. The ones I hold dear."
