((No, they don't.)) "AAAH HA HA HA HAAAA!!!!! TAKE THAT GUPPY!!!" Crenu ran up to the pokeball that had settled on the ground after wobbling around for quite some time. Picking the ball up and staring at it for a while, Crenu shrunk it down and clipped it onto his belt. "Aright, now I've got another member for my team. He may be a weak little poliwag now, but eventually he'll grow into a mighty Poliwrath. Allis going well, I'm actually glad those ghosts chased me into this pond. But first thing is first, I need to go and heal my pokmon. Since I'm cloer to the Azalea Town entrance, I'll head back there and challenge Bugsy while I'm at it. But... I may run into M.A. and Kyson if I go back now... Have they even noticed I left? It's only bit a little while. Doesn't matter, I can't worry about that. Right now all that metters is getting to the pokecenter in Azalea Town as fast as I can." Crenu Took his bike out from his bag and took apart his rod, putting it in the large pocket where he kept his important items, which he liked to call "Key" Items. Getting on his bike, he sped off towards the Azalea Town.

"Astonish? Sting wait!" Ky called out, not knowing what move M.A. was calling. Sting though was so aggravated by Ulani's simple taunt, that he had dived at her with his punches right before the bird practically disappeared in front of him. After the bird warped behind him, Sting was caught off-guard when Ulani nailed him in the back, stunning him in mid-air. "Sting, use Fury Attack while she's still close!" Ky yelled. Unfortunately, Sting just shook, trying to get the light feeling out of his head. 'What on earth kind of attack was that?' Ky asked himself when he saw Sting simply hesitate.

"Please!" Nina yelled, starting to cry, and sounding very convincing. "Please, someone help me!" She heard the commotion of the police running through the building-- it sounded as if they had just ran up the staircase to the fourth floor. She continued to yell and plea for help, and in a few minutes' time, two figures ran through the doorway. One was a man, and the other was a woman. They looked at Nina, and their mouths gaped open, before rushing over to her and untying her from the machine.
"Oh my god!" the female officer said, hastily untying Nina and tossing the rope aside. "Miss, what happened? How did Team Rocket capture you? Miss?" Nina was crying and shaking, and wiped her eyes with the backs of her hands. Blood trickled down her arms from the shallow cuts that were on her forearms. She tried speaking, but was very incoherent.
"Miss," the male officer said, with a rather soothing tone in his voice, "it's okay. My name is Officer Conklin, and this is my partner, Officer Flint. You're alright now-- we're here. Nobody else can hurt you now, okay? Please... Calm down, and try to tell us what happened to you."
Nina sniffled and composed herself a little. "I-it was horrible... I came into the Radio Tower a little while ago because one of my Pokemon had gotten away from me... But as soon as I walked through the front door, there was this member from Team Rocket there! He... tried to hurt me, so I had to fight back. I managed to knock him out... and I noticed that he had two daggers on his person. I took them, but I wasn't planning on using them-- I just, you know, wanted them in case worse came to worst... And..." she sniffled, and looked ready to start crying again. "I'm sorry. I just can't go on... it's too painful!"
"Miss, it's okay," Officer Flint said. "I know this must be hard for you, but you need to understand that we're here to help. Okay?"
Nina sniffled again, and wiped her eyes. "Okay..."

"All right Meowth, I need you to listen to me for the most part sicne I am trying to give Levi a good idea what a battle is like. So lets start this off with your Bite attack!" Dante said all the while eyeing the Pikachu across from him.
"Whatever you say boss." Meowth said back before charghing at the electric rat pokemon his fangs bared.
"Pikachu escape that attack with your Quick Attack!" The gentleman they were battleing comanded. The Pikachu made a sound of agreement before dashing to the side avoiding the attack. While it did avoid the attack when the yellow pokemon went in to attack on his own he was caught by suprise when Meowth clamped his teeth down on his leg. The Pikachu uttered a cry of pain and suprise at the attack and without comand unleashed a Thundershock attack trying to dislodge the cat.
"Heh, its going to take a more powerful Thundershock then that to dislodge me!" Meowth said through his mouth full of tail. Thinking up a good plan Meowth then activated his Iron Tail attack and with a strangetwist brought it down on the Pikachu's head.
The Pikachu gave a suprised cry at the move and turned the Thundershock up into the more powerful Thunderbolt attack. The whole time Meowth kept a hold on its tail while hitting it with his Iron Tail while the Pikachu continued shocking him.

Unfortunately for the Pikachu Meowth was at an advantage here. After being shocked by Ash's Pikachu so much he had become slightly resistant to electric attacks. It also didn't help that after traveling with Dante he had become stronger then before. Building up his strength Meowth smashed his tail down once again on top of the Pikachu's head this time knocking the pokemon out. Panting slightly Meowth made his way back to where Dante was, with all that shocking he had probably become paralyzed as well but he ignored it. "You can't make me fight in the gym match now." He said with a smile on his face before he fell down.
Bending down so that he was at Meowth's level he smiled slightly at the cat pokemon. "A promise is a promise." He said as he scooped the cat up into his other arm. Levi looked at the cat pokemon next to her and gave his fur a little lick almost as a way of appreciation to the hard battling cat pokemon. Standing back up Dante faced the Gentleman again, "Thank you for the battle."
"It was no problem. Good luck with the Lieutenant." He tipped his hat towards the trainer who had beaten his Pikachu.
Nodding Dante headed into the chamber that he hoped the gym leader would be in. Apollo who had watched the whole battle trotted behind him excited by the fact that he might be used in the next fight. Stopping in the room Dante looked around not seeing the gym leader. "Lieutenant Sir?" He called out not sure where the gym leader could be.

Nick puts the bottle back into his bag and paddled back to pallet town Pokemon Center. Nick pulls up to the pokemon Center and demounts the bike. Wolf puts the bike back into his bag and walked into the doors to Center. Nick walked up to nurse Joy and put Orlando Pokeball onto the counter "Hello Nuse Joy I need you to heal my charmander after the battle against a pidgey."
Nurse Joy smiled and puts Orlando's pokeball into the machine. She turns around "He will be ready in couple of minutes."
"thankyou Nurse Joy " said Nick.
Nick stuffed his hands into his hoody pocket and strolled over to the window to look out. Nurse Chansey came over to Nick with a tray with sandwich and cup of tea. Nick smiles takes the food and says "Thankyou Nurse Chansey."
Nick numbles at the sandwich and take small sips of tea while watching a kid playing with small eevee.

M.A. was just as surprised as anyone else, having not seen the attack's secondary effect before; well, it did make sense. She'd flinch too, if she was surprised. But Ulani hadn't done Astonish with that kind of effectiveness before, not in her previous battles -- she must be getting stronger, surely.
As for now, they might as well take advantage of Sting's stalling. "Right into a good Peck, Ulani," M.A. called out, grinning a bit; she was having fun, she realized. It was nice to have this kind of battle, where it was semi-relaxed between riends. The Swablu must've agreed, and she seemed to giggle with huge enjoyment at the success of her own fairly weak Astonish. The blue Cotton Bird Pokemon swung around, gathering momentum with her sharp white beak aimed for Sting's abdomen.

The mud-covered Geodude was sucked into the Great Ball without a fight, and it wriggled around a few times before coming to a stop. Success! Keegan captured the Geodude!
((woo it's the lamest capture post to date! You know the drill, send the stuff. okloveyoubyebye. ))

"So, I was going up the stairs to look for my Pokemon, after I had to knock out that Rocket that tried to harm me," Nina went on. There were... four more of them, and they had all threatened to use force against me if I didn't leave immediately. I tried to bargain with them, you know? I tried to tell them that I'd leave just as soon as I got my Pokemon back, but... they told me to leave, or else. There were harsh words exchanged, and, before I knew it, all four of them tried to... uhm. Do away with me. And it was at that point that I had to defend myself." The girl stopped speaking as the police cast glances at her. Nina bit her lip, and a few tears fell from her eyes.
"I-I'm sorry," she said, sniffling, "I didn't want to, but I had no choice! I'm really not a violent person by nature, and to have to... do that to not just one but four other people..." Nina shivered, cupping her face in her hands. "I'm just so ashamed of myself..."
Wimpy post I know, but more will be added tomorrow.

Morty flexed his arms as the six orbs shot towards Haunter. He didn't seem worried in the slightest. "Take it, Haunter!" the gym leader commanded. "Attack again with Shadow Punch!" Each orb made direct contact with the ghostly Pokemon, but the damage they did was minimal, making the damage Lombre healed even less so. Haunter gave an evil cackle before it vanished, appearing once more in front of its opponent and slamming its fist into the frog-like creature's side.

Sighing, Keegan walked over to the Great Ball, which, unfortunately, had landed in the center of the mud puddle Geodude had made only moments ago. He held it up, and grinned at Althena, who wore a somewhat satisfied grin on her face as well. "If you wouldn't mind?" he asked, and Althena nodded quickly, letting out another Water Sport to clean the muck from the blue and white Great Ball. "Thanks," he said, smiling proudly at the Psyduck. "You just get more and more incredible every day. Come on, we'll head back to Mauville and get you and our new 'friend' cleaned up. Maybe she won't mind busting up a few boulders for us."
Althena gave a cheeky grin as she was returned to her Poke Ball, and Keegan placed both of them onto the empty slots on his belt. "Finally, a full team of six," he murmured, once again thinking about Themis's future form. "Quite diverse, if I do say so myself." He pulled his bike up off the ground, and began to walk with it back towards town. A small part of him was hoping he'd be challenged to a battle or two; perhaps a bit more experience would be just what the stubborn little Electrike needed.

What? Why didn't my Giga Drain do as much? he thought, his eyes widening. Suddenly it hit him. Haunter's also a Poison-type! Kilik winced, No wonder! "Lombre!!" he called out.
The frog let out a loud cry before falling to the ground with a thud. He slowly pulled himself together. With one of his most powerful attacks out of comission, he'd have to hope Kilik knew what he was doing. Another demand for a Surf was issued, and the command was followed. Once again, water came from all over his body, only to be sucked back up and placed into the leaf upon his head, blasting forward towards the Haunter in a massive tidal wave.
If this doesn't work, Kilik thought, Then I'm going to be out one Lombre...

"I probably should give Nina a call," Kasiya answered earnestly. "As much as I really don't want to, I'm going to need that Marsh Badge someday." She bit her bottom lip as it quivered a bit, squeezing her eyes shut.
"Someday we'll face each other in battle," Sabrina had told her.
"I just hope I'm strong enough to stand a chance against you," Kasiya had replied, giggling.
"I'm sure you will be. It's a battle I look forward to." Sabrina's smile and tone of voice had been reassuring and friendly. The girl gulped, wishing with all her heart that she could go back in time and do something - anything to help her friends.
"Nina...Sabrina..." she whispered into Hiro's bushy mane, letting his warmth soak up her tears and dry her eyes. The Arcanine gave a sigh, keeping his gaze focused on Fang as he flew ahead. So far the Crobat was doing remarkably well despite his short attention span, he'd already lead them fairly far into the maze. Kasiya swallowed the lump in her throat and looked over at Mike again. Something went through her though, and she looked away, pretending to be preoccupied with Fang. I'm going to call Keegan when we get to Fuchsia, she thought. I need to make things right between us again.

Sensing that this would end soon, both trainers eyed each other for a moment before they issued their commands. "Fluffy! Use another Thundershock!" the boy demanded, watching as his Flaaffy obeyed by firing a weak volley of electricity at Tingle.
The quirky Metang took the hit full on, its eyes shutting for a moment. As weak as the attack had been, it had inflicted paralysis. Miharu, finding she rather liked the strange sheep-like Pokemon, called for Tingle to finish off the Flaaffy with a Confusion attack. Tingle's arms, although slowed a bit from the paralysis, drew a bluish circle in the air, then sent it towards the electric foe. Fluffy let out a whimper as it was struck by the psychic attack, slumping over in a heap. Tingle floated back over to its trainer, giving a labored sigh as it landed next to her, practically begging to be returned to its Pokeball. Miharu obliged it, folding her arms and glaring at the boy as he too recalled his Pokemon.
"I'm not going to forget this!" he yelled; shaking his fists at her before he dashed out of view, probably back to Azalea Town for treatment.
"That'll teach him to be rude to girls," Miharu smirked, taking her Mach Bike out of her pack as setting it up carefully. She meticulously went over the whole thing to make sure it wasn't damaged before she climbed on, and she too headed back to town. I think I'll do a little research on that Pokemon we just battled, she thought, passing through the gate house. I could use an electric type on my team.

Haunter's eyes grew wide at the sight of another wall of water heading for him, and he dove for the ground, still taking quite a bit of damage even as he vanished into the floor. Morty frowned, but the expression was gone almost before it had even come. "Haunter!" he barked. "Up and at 'em! Spite!"
The top of Haunter's spiky head rose out of the floor, its eyes fixed on Lombre. One hand also reappeared, its index finger outstretched as though it were conducting an orchestra. Five ghostly figures appeared in a ring around Lombre, each laughing and dancing like little imps. All at once they converged on him, each vanishing into Lombre's body at a different spot. Lombre would find it increasingly difficult to summon up any more Surf attacks from this point onward.
