Aly tipped her head to the side, pondering his question, then nodded. "Yeah, but I've got nothing against loud," She grinned and ruffled his hair. She wondered if he ever got lonely around a building full of adults and felt sorry for the kid. "Hey, now that we've found my lovely room and dumped my stuff here, wanna go make a couch fort? Or we could explore some more?"

A.C. was already gone. Where did she go? How did the conversation end? We'll probably never know, unless someone has a flashback. In any case, she was in Krovh when the attack started and long gone by the time Silent Lucidity came to annouce it.

Ruby's head immediatley turned to Silent Lucidity as she broadcasted her little message. Her first reaction involved shock that there was another good looking redhead in the building and she hadn't known about it. Her second reaction was fear followed by anger at the two supers attacking the city.

"I suppose that means we'll be needin' to give them a nice welcome to our city, no? I'm gonna go check on Aaron, but will meet whoever's goin' out front." She turned to the stairs, climbing them fast.

"Sounds like a plan to me!" She was just getting off the bed when she heard the commotion outside the room. She could hear someone announcing that Khrov was under attack by supers. That meant Ora. She looked at Aaron. "Hmmm... sounds like trouble, we should find out what's going on." She walked out into the hallway.

Aaron nodded, walking out with her. They ran into Ruby in the hallway who walked up to Aaron, giving him a big hug. "There you are, sugar." She ran her hands in his hair, giving the curls a nice shake. "Now what did I tell you about botherin' new recruits?" She glanced at Aly. "He wasn't botherin' you too much I hope. Usually he's under close watch downstairs in his room, but somebody cralwed through the vent system again, didn't they?" She gave him a scolding look. "Now I'm gonna send you back downstairs, an' you're gonna stay there till I get back, an' no goin' outside, either, there's trouble afoot an' I don't want you gettin' involved." She pushed him toward the elevator, not letting his "please dahlin's", or his little pouts change her mind.

Aly smiled, "no, he wasn't bothering me at all. Rather he was quite a big help." She waved to Aaron as he was being ushered into the elevator. After he was gone, she turned to Ruby with seriousness in her eyes. "Sounds like there's trouble," She sighed and grabbed her katana and daggers from her room. "Should I come along? Or stay here at the base in case you need back-up later?" She had experience in war strategy and she knew that the base would definitely be attacked. It was most likely their target, and the city was just a distraction. She suggested this to Ruby.

The moment Ruby had left, the elevator opened up again, Aaron's red head peeking out. He checked to make sure the area was clear and walked back out. If his mother thought he'd be willing to miss watching the action play out, she was quite wrong.
