Aaliyah darkly suspected that Grishmak was making fun of her and the other younglings for actually caring about the situation. Or maybe he was just mocking them for their eagerness to do the right thing and report to Master Lierce. Behind her dark suspicions, though, his words made sense to her and resonated with her views of the world. In her mind, everyone had at least a spark of goodness. Lately, she had been wondering if that included the Fallen. It was an uncomfortable thought, so she responded by not thinking about it.
At least the path to the Knights’ cavern was short, so she didn’t have a whole lot of time to be uncomfortable. The fact that there was only one squire was slightly odd, Aaliyah thought. Not noticing the squire’s reaction to Grishmak, she peered around the squire curiously, trying to see if there was a knight. This was news that should be reported directly to a knight, she felt. But everything seemed empty… more than that, it felt empty.
“Umm… we need to talk to Master Lierce. It’s really important.” Aaliyah nodded, as if her movements could add weight to her words. “It’s about the Fallen.”

After the long trip to Gorknik, Damon is glad to be in a town again, where he can get fresh ale and nicely cooked meat. Unlike his own job of cooking when he usually burnt it.

"Uh-huh," she said, too quietly to be really heard. "Missy is Chresto's horse's name." She refused to speak for the rest of the ride home.
The little girl was only too relieved to be home. A portly woman in a blue frock seemed just as happy, throwing her arms around the child and pulling her off the horse. "Oh, Alter!"

-The man kept on walking for days barely resting or stopping when he was in the Eastern Forest where he caught the young dragon.-
-The Sun was setting and he stopped and set the Cage down. and unwrapped so the hatchling could see, and sat next to the cage placing dried meat around the edges for Crevan to eat.-
"Look at that." -the man slightly tossed his hand out towards the sun set.- "No matter where you go you will always find it's beauty one way or another."
-Crevan slowly chewed on the meat as his spirit was pretty much broken by being cage for so long.. and despising the world for what is happening to him, But the Sun set did look more promising than his life right now.- -Crevan made a friendly click noise only to reassure that he was listening.-
-The man smiled- "You know your traveling further then most hatchlings do... and survive. Right now we rest in the Boarder Lands. Tho it is half your kind territory and ours... humans can get away with crimes done to your kin. Just as Dragons do the same to our race. just a little further West towards the sunset. Is my place it rest in what many call the Human's Lands. It's a Small hay farm. Where the land is rich and there are plenty of Trees that protect it."
-Crevan looked at the man trying to figure out why he was talking like they were friends. Either way Crevan felt he was waisting his breath.-
"But we must protect you till you can live on your own. Then once you become what you Truly are. you can continue west to see the Large Waters, And Find what your heart seeks."
-Crevan bang his head against the bars and then rested down.-
"The man Chuckled, you will understand one day why I did what I did." -Then they both were silent for the rest of the night.-

Grishmak twitched his ears in amusement at the Guard’s response. He had no intention of showing any other acknowledgement to the guard’s reaction. Instead, he chose to pretend it was nothing. He and his brother really weren't the kindest of dragons. It was right not to trust a Tainted. Though, they would all be better off if no one saw Viscal's spur.
Though, there could be some interesting results if his brother's spur was noticed...very interesting. Yet, Grishmak knew not to cause to much surprise and hostility. He snorted and stared the guard in the eye and muttered to himself.
"Like I'd be stupid enough to cause trouble in the middle of the knight's territory."
---
A girl sat in the trees, watching the man with the dragon in amusement. She'd been following silently for a couple of days and she finally decided that she'd reveille her presence. For a traveling priestess, she had an odd personality, the kind that loves to stir up trouble.
"You know, it isn't a good idea to cage up a dragon. It could get mad and attack you. You never know, the little devils are quiet unpredictable. Poor creatures, being hunted and all. Nope, not smart at all. They don't care of your intentions. You should try and gain its trust. Ya know, prevent any unseen misfortunes."
The girl smiled, dropping down from her spot, so she could see the faces of the twosome better.

The ranger watched as the girl, Alter by name supposedly, was engulfed by an overjoyed welcoming party.
"Good to see someone's here for her, m'am," the rider said as she leaned over to avoid projecting her voice to the surrounding area. "However, I don't know what she did to get tangled up with Lady Yvette's hired men, so you may need to keep a low profile for a little while," the rider said only a loud as she needed to be. "The girl here probably can better explain what happened. All the same, hopefully there won't be any further trouble for you."
If the men on the road were just randomly hired thugs, there was a chance that the Baroness wouldn't note their disappearance and that would be the end of that. If they held more importance to her beyond just thugs and kidnappers, well... hopefully they wouldn't catch wind of the girl. And if they did, maybe they would write her off as too young to be of any use. In any case, it was up to the girl's caretakers how to handle the situation from here on out.
"I apologize for the abruptness, but I have a prior engagement to attend to and must be going," Jayara said as she straightened up in the saddle.

-Crevan turn quickly in the cage trying to see where the voice was coming from causing the cage to hop a little, but when he saw it was another human he glared at her through the bars.-
-The man saw Crevan's reaction, and shook his head as he stood and faced the lady-
"Meh' Lady, Please forgive me if I offended you in any way at all, but I do assure you that what ever I do with this hatchling is my business and mine alone."
-Crevan stood very still in the cage listening carefully As it became full night and the moon rose high enough to touch the stars.-

"If that is what you wish then I will comply." Risen said calmly as he walked closer to Avalene. "What do you wish to speak about m'lady?" He was getting kind of use to being human by now but he remembered his intructions well.

"Offended, me? Now why would I be offened. I'm just a common person who happened to notice a chained up dragon. It's more of advice. You see, some people think dragons are the messengers of god, so you may be angering him. Others say that they are the devil's personal assistants, so you may be brining his wrath upon your head. I'd just set the little dragon free if I were you," Azra anounced, barely pausing to take breathes between sentences.
Some would pass the girl off as insane, the way she rambled on. Also, her quick temper and un-preistly attitude often confused people. It was said, that she would talk for long amounts of time, just to confuse a person.

-The man notice the rambling from her and it only made him suspect that she was uneasy about something. and he simply shook his head.-
"Listen and not to the voices in your head...." "This Hatchling was alone not eating properly let alone none of the dragons in the area answered his desperate Cries, which allowed me to bring him this far out."
-the man pulled out a small knife and played it between his fingers- "And if you don't have the slightest clue where you are, we are in the Boarderlands."
"Strongly meaning that if I let go of this hatchling his chances of it being capture by Bandits and dragon-hunters is much higher."
"Let alone the question appears, why would you care if this Hatchling goes or not, you said it your self that this Dragon could bring his wrath upon my head what makes you think he won't spread his wrath upon you as well."
-Creven never like the way the man talked but what was Bandits and dragon-hunters are they really bad or are they even worse.-

Azra smiled, " I never said I was logical. I never said it was the best thing to do..." she paused, thinking, "well, I may have, but why listen to the words of a travler? People try and trick others. For all you know I could be a bandit or a Dragon-hunter. What makes you so sure I'm not? In fact, I don't have a clue who you are. I could be having a conversation with a murderer right now and I wouldn't even know it. Get my drift?"
Azra twirled around, to face the direction the man had come from. She let out a sigh, and took a step foreward before stopping.
"Well now, what a waste of time on my part. I had been planning on going to the gathering of dragons, and no, I will not answer as to how I know it is going on. Let's just say a little black and red bird told me, 'kay? Oh, and if you have anything else to say to me, now would be the time. The wilderness calls."

-The man looked at the cage and then at the girl- "You know where the dragon's gather?"
"and are you a friend of the dragons?"
-Crevan shifted back and forth looking threw the bars at the mentioning of the Dragons and he look up at the man that was holding him captive-

((I'm throwing Bri'get out there. Whoever wants to meet her may ^^))
It had been a long day of walking for the dark skinned woman and now she finally reached a town with an inn to rest in. She got some interesting looks to be sure for she was much darker then most in this area seemed to be. She didn't pay it any mind though. In the past monthes she had gotten use to the stares. She simply went and took a seat before ordering some water.

The guard hesitated, as if not sure what to do when confronted with such a self-assured youngling. But he managed to take it in stride and gave her his attention, while keeping one eye still on the Tainted.
"The Fallen are leaving Genyiel," he said, "As are many dragons. Master Lierce is away on the request of a council of elder dragons that was held last night. You'll have to take any business up with the Knights that remain, or if it is of importance, Shadine. And I'm afraid I'll need to know more than just 'it's about the Fallen' to let you speak to the Lady right now."
----------
Avalene looked at him very carefully, frowning as if he were some kind of puzzle piece she just couldn't find a place for. Finally she sat back and twisted at a piece of her split-skirt.
"You feel fate as well, don't you?" she said, "Or whatever it is that's telling me these things. Please... I-"
She took a deep breath and it seemed like all self-confidence left her at that point. Her shoulders grew hunched, her face seemed like that of a rabbit facing the fox, and when she spoke her voice was barely above a whisper. It was like the bard was gone and replaced with someone else entirely.
"When I first had a vision I fainted and was unconscious for days. My mentor... he cared for me... but when I woke he was gone and I've never seen him again. I've searched but... the visions haven't helped me find him. Nothing has. I can't control this - it just comes and goes - and please! Tell me what this is! How come you're different? What are you? And why is this happening to me? I know you have the answers! You have to!"
The words were coming in a rush and she stared at Risen, desperate and frightened.

Alter's mother's mouth gaped for a moment. "My Alter hasn't done anything," she said, settling her mouth into a firm line. "You may come and go as you please, milady." She shooed her daughter to the safety of the house, fussing over Alter's hair and straightening her clothing with admonishments a plenty.
