Kibo: He was a piece of cursed Aztec gold! He's at least 200 years old!

Kibo: No, he's been a ferret for 200 years. He was only free for 10 minutes.

"Fine!" "How could you bind him again like that!" "Haven't you talked to Charon?" "Don't you know that he eats spirits like that?" "Whether you want him to," "Or not!"

"The only reason," "He gave him up," "Is because Charon's not hungry right now." "Or at least enough to eat a ferret."

Kibo: I think I know what Charon's feeling right now, considering he's in my hand. I haven't fed him for weeks now. His last meal was an evil soul of a brother of a friend of mine.

Zia and Maida tsked and wagged a finger in Kibo's face. They pulled their legs up and crossed them to keep them dry from the ever rising water.
"Pay better attention to your hand then." "He's not that hungry." "Well, he is," "But then, he's always hungry."

Kibo: The string comes with a storage container anyway. Everything that involves Charon's powers goes through it, and tests it in a split second, before unleashing it. If I try that smokescreen trick, for instance, it makes sure Charon isn't gonna put poison in the smoke to kill me. The same goes for spirits. All spirits go into the containment section to make sure devouring them won't give him enough strength to break free. It has a manual override. If I say "cough him/her/it up," it'll release the spirit. If I say "He's/She's/It's all yours," it allows Charon to devour the spirit.

"Since when have necromancer been able to control live demons?" "I didn't they could."

"Meaning since," "You got smart enough?"
Zia and Maida gigled when a soaking wet Adoni waded through the rising water and jumped on the bed, completly soaking them both.
"Hullohullo," "Adoni." "Have fun?"

Kibo: Yep, it's quite an engineering marvel. It allows me to manipulate Charon in many ways. I've discovered several new weapons I can use now that Charon's trapped in the string. Charon's Claw, of course, Charon's Lunge, Charon's Swipe, Charon's Lash, and one more that I haven't named yet.
