Sapphire sighs inwardly as she looks to the sky. Thankfully there was not enough moon to betray her to herself. How was she to face Aitrus and apologize for her sudden run out. "How do I tell everyone that the one person I should have been able to trust with my life and soul is nothing more than a selfish brat?" Sapphire asks herself as she wonders slowly though the forest.

Perhaps you were blinded to the truth in thinking you were supposed to trust them." Sapphire glances all around trying to place the comings of the voice and if she even knew it. it might have been familiar to her maybe once before a voice herad in passing but not quite recognizable. "If one cannot trust blood of their blood, soul of their soul, then who should one trust? A complete stranger who comes with seemingly good grace?" It's just my conscious trying to stop me. It is not important.

I felt that we shared the same soul and a famililiary in that feeling would mean that our trust was never ending in each other. I also disagree with the means for trust and strangers. People are only strangers till someone learns more than just another's name. People don't always have to trust each other to be not strangers." Sapphire continues to walk through the forest not hurrying her pace at all, although she adjusts her skirts a little should she need to run.

For a connection like that, a name is never required. Such a connection of souls is deeper and stronger than any label that might be placed upon it."

Sapphire smiles gently, she had confused her own conscious. "Yes, if one talks of soul mates then yes they come of different blood. When I say connection of souls I mean, one that is what I thought more potent than even that. A connection that started from the first moment of life. A shared home for months where nothing else was concerned, but living and growing. A purity that only exists for that time." Sapphire says the smile slipping from her lips. "yes a simple purity, not lasting for longer than those few precious months."

"But how could such a bond be expected to be strong if it has never been tested in the rigors of life? True, the allure of such purity as can only be found momentarily in a unique part of ones life is strong, but misleadingly so I would imagine. Perhaps that is why it could never last?"

"Or the too quick separation, not allowing the two souls to grow under the same allure that they could be one. Maybe had the two souls spent the time they were supposed to together, than there would be no loss to the trust." Sapphire now just felt like she was rambling, her conscious should already know all this.

Two may grow together for as long as they wish, but until that growth has completed no bond between them could ever be expected to last. A friend can be someone as simple as a neighbor or as important as a mother or brother." Sapphire says sighing. "Why I am still discussing this? This should all be so obvious."

She'd already had to deal with the burn of such misconceptions. She wouldn't quite allow her judgment to be strayed that way again. "That is true and once it is known, such deceit is not so easily found again. I have seen deceit at it's worst and now know how to avoid it best." Sapphire says shaking her head slowly.
