Rue punched the nearby tree.
"Doesn't anybody know what happened around here?"
He walked to the cave and saw the 909.
"Nic...did you really just go? To leave me here?"
Rue shook his head.
"Looks like i was wrong...I can't do this......Life does take practice, and here i am trying to do it with nothing but my feelings...."

Rain watched Rue as he talked to himself. She looked down at the ground, thinking that she might have seen something. "She... said something to Kayako," she began to say. "I don't remember what. But she gave Kayako something. I think she wanted her to give it you."
She turned her head again and looked at him. "You'll have to ask Kayako about it when she gets back."

The sky rolled with a deep fog of clouds. The trapar levels were high but visibility was nearly nill. Only darkness could be seen at a distance.
The roll of noise and pulse explosions rang with cannon fires. Missles streamed leaving blinding rays of blue and red in the murky rain over warusawa.
With each explosion a frame of light would appear and the End could be seen. It struck quick and fast. The claws shot out and lashed at the joints of Mercury.
From the speakers a sweet voice could be heard. It bubbled with joy., "Hey there you."
TheEnd's fist struck at Mercury's board sending the LFO wobbling.
"You're so easy to see." the voice came again. "How can you be so blind."
A volley of missles lit up the sky and again the black LFO shot across the view screen running it's claws across the cockpit's window. Gripping tightly the arm held on and rolled both of them into a spin. With a flip of the legs theEnd took hold of mercury from behind.
"I guess this will teach you. Vascud Crisis!"
A searing light stretched out from the chest of the black LFO. It engulfed Mercury and Gray.

"You-!!!"
Gray's eyes narrowed and darkened as a familiar vioce echoed psychoticaly over the radio. The blows and the abrupt assults were disorienting, but...
Gray closed his eyes briefly as the red wave swept out at him, snapping them open as at impacted.
Both hands yanked on the controlls as superheated energy waves sprayed around Mercury's hull.
"Yaaaaaaa!!!"
Twisting about in in the cable's grip, Mercury capitalized on the fact that it's attacker was crushing the two LFO's together in a death-grip.
As multiply warning flashed and beeped wildly, Mercury twisted it's legs and slashed viscously at theEND's torso with it's rear board tip, gouging at the metal joint plating under theEND's upper torso armor "vest; jamming the board into the resulting crack and digging into the complex electronic systems controlling the vascud Crisis. Mercury's own superstructure became scorched and blackened, but it's highly reflective silver enamel bought it precious moments to Ramm the sharp Board agianst theEND's rib cage.
Moreover, Gray himself didn't seem fazed by the nighmarish energy blast.
"Okay, witch-girl. Let's play-!!"

A high pitched laugh rolled through the air. It's pitch rose and giggling screams turned to hate and joy.
"Melt away! Let your soul melt away little one! It's all going awa-" The screams turned in on themselves.
"You... you... you really piss me off!"
TheEnd loosened it's grasp quickly and tried to fly away. Unfortunately the end of the board was to well wedged in. It held fast to the jagged tear in the back of the black LFO. Instead of becoming free. The two machines were more fully tangled. As the Mercury twisted and theEnd jerked they continued to roll and spin on the wave. Up became down. the rain seemed to fall upwards and another volley of missiles was released in a panic. TheEnd's pilot released the load over the top of Mercury. Two exploded at point blank range between the cockpits of the two vessels

Mercury shuddered from the blast and was nearly torn from the board, thankfully it's board clamps held. The end result was Mercury being blasted free from theEND, it's board leaving a nice ragged gash in it's opponent.there was crack in the cockpit window, and It's headlights/chest plating was bashed in badly and dented; but it's fins where still fully functional, which ment....
Mercury tumbled through the air, then stabilized and REFFed sidways for a second, then zigzagged steeply upwards, as though trying to flee.
In seconds, the silver LFO climbed high above the clouds, angling sharply untill it was nearly horizontal on it's board. For a moment, it slowed then stopped, a silver speck suspended in the murky air. Gray smirked. Before, mercury was too battered to to this move, but now it was merely dened, and not battered and exhuasted.
Mercury flipped it's board, suddenly pointed down instead of up.
Then...it dropped like a stone.
Mercury arced back down like an angel's arrow, shot from the heavens at it's black nemisis.
Trapar surged around the board in blurr of green, and Mercury abruply leveled out, it's fin's fully extended and it's speed already rising past mach 1 as it shot at theEND, whipping out it's knives.
"-Let's Gooo!! Haaaaaa!!"

Rue turned to Rain.
"Kayako? I wonder...."
He shook his head. Two of the others were gone, one of which knew something about Nic. They weren't out of the trouble yet.
"Rain, right? I know we never really were formally introduced, but I'm Rue. That's my LFO, The White Knight. I was wondering if you could see where the other two LFOs like your own were? I'm not quite sure, but in the Eden?"

Somewhere off in the distance, a firey red explosion seemed to shake the sky itself. Senturi's radar went completely insane, beeping twenty-five different warning signs as the wind picked up out of nowhere.
At the exact same time, a pulse of red light shook the violet-haired girl inside it's cockpit, causing her to fall forward and begin to shake.
Kayako veered right and headed straight for it's source of the disturbance, not even thinking about what kind of danger she was putting herself in. To her, a red pulse from her chest only meant one thing: Gray. The events happening in the same area only gave her more of a reason to hurry.
As they closed in, she could make out two LFO struggling in the skies. And both she could identify. One was Mercury, the other, the same black LFO that had crashed into the transport shuttle on her way to the Novak Foundation. She flew closer as Mercury shot upwards and started to fall, stopping just 50 yards away.
More shocks of red hit.
Kayako focused on the black mech in front of her.
Guns and missle-launchers were armed.
Senturi's back panels opened and got ready.
She haulted, waiting to see what Gray would do before she struck.

"You sweet talker you." the musical voice chimed out. "I'll eat you!" The darkness swelled and theEnd roared upwards. The blast of booster packs and the green wake of the board split the air in a glowing line.
"Time to die!" With her claws extended and his blades bared they raced at each other. The contact point was low and hard. At the last moment theEnd twisted upside down and they both struck at each others legs.
One of the halves of theEnds board legs was severed at the ankle sending it flying off at an absurd angle. At the same time Mercury's board clamps snaped and the LFO sailed into the air with out support.
"Nooooo!" Anemone screamed and thrashed in her restraints trying to stabilize her mech.

Rain nodded. "Alright." Upon stopping the music of her guitar and walking away, all the skyfish flew off to some unknown destination. She walked up the side of Eden and opened the hatch. The controls turned on and she checked the radar.
She left the Eden and came back to Rue. "The screen says they're over there," she told him, pointing in a certain direction.

"Strap into your LFO. If they're together, something is up and I don't intend to wait around for it. UF probably sent a military personel to capture you....guys back."
Rue ran to the Knight.
"I'll be sending a direct link between our comms. Just stay calm, Rain. I'll be there on the radio if you need me. We need to get moving though, sooner we get them, sooner we can get out of here."
The White Knight burst into life, and drove out to get even with Eden.

Rain nodded her head, but then was unsure. "Kayako told me to stay..." She stood at that spot for a while, contemplating what to do. She made her descion. "Sorry, Rue," she apologized. "But I'm going to stay."

"Not to pull this right now, but watch the LFOs of your friends. They're moving around very quickly in one location. That's a fight. Now if you want them to die and not have cover then let's stay here. However, i don't intend to let that happen."
Rue sighed.
"Look, come with me because if you don't you'll be here alone. I don't want you to be alone, okay?"

Rain just gave him her usual blank look. "I'm fine alone," she said. "I've been alone as long as I can remember." She turned around and walked back to the entrance of the cave. She picked up her guitar and sat down. Her eyes were glued to the sky, waiting in case any craft came overhead.

He got off his LFO and walked over to her.
"Why are you being so difficult towards me? I want to help Gray and Kayako."
