Marik looked at her. "Could you at least keep your eyes open when you talk to me? I'm not going to judge you. If you close your eyes people will become uneasy and not fully trust you. Make eye contact once in awhile. I guess our lives have similarities and differences."
Vairocana walked out of the cafe she had been at and started to head towards the mall. "Time to show the girls at school how wrong they really are."
Yami Marik woke up and growled. 'How could I have fallen asleep?' Standing up he headed out the door locking it from the inside. Taking the elevator to the bottom floor he decided to find Vairocana. He guessed she'd be at the café and headed off in that direction.

she looked at him sadly " i'm sorry, i'm just nervous..... i'm not quite use to you still....and well i just feel slightly aquard. i didn't mean to give you an untrusting feeling..... it just hard....." she stared at the wall, it appeared like she wanted to cry, but she refused. it made her feel weak and insucure. all the memories kept flooding back even though she tried to shut it all out, it found a way around it. it was hurting her mentally, but she refused to show it.

Marik walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "You know its okay to cry right now. No one else can see you and if you keep it all in eventually its going to hurt you more and more until you snap. When you do snap who knows what the result will be."
Vairocana looked up to spot Yami Marik coming down the sidewalk. Quickly ducking into an ally way she brought the hood of the coat she was wearing up over her head and hurriedly walked away. 'Please don't see me. Please don't see me!' she thought as she rounded a corner.

tears streamed down her face "the memories......they just wont go away...." she wispered in a low soft voice. it hurt, remembering the pain and hardship she grew up with was truely painful. she continued to cry "ever since my father dumped me here.... i've been alone...." she looked own at the ground "i was an only child so i really had no one who tryed to warn me or protect me.....i just had to learn on my own....how to stay away...." she continued crying, strangly it felt good, yet she did feel insucure....

Marik pulled her forward into a hug. He remember how he always wanted to let out his own emotions and just cry. But there was no shoulder for him to cry on. Now he was being that shoulder to someone else. And he didn't mind.
Yami Marik growled as he entered the café and didn't see Vairocana. Trying to think of places she would have gone to he exited the small restaurant and headed down the sidewalk.
Vairocana walked into the mall heading towards the clothing section.

she hugged him enjoying his warmth and comfort. she was growing to like him, could it be tha she was falling for him? she began to think 'no i couldn't.... he wouldn't accept me back....i must not fall in love with him.....as long as we're friends i know he would accept me that way.....'

Marik began to pet Easarue's hair slightly before rummaging for something in his pocket. Pulling out a tissue he handed it to Easarue. "Here you go." He said not sure if he should laugh or not because of how he was acting or be serious. Inside he was mentally laughing at himself because he had never offered anyone a tissue before and he felt like he was being a complete idiot about it.
Vairocana looked at the blue dress in front of her. It was spaghetti strapped and came down to her knees. The dress was a simple sky blue dress with glitter. Picking the dress off of the clothes rack she headed towards the shoe aisle and began to browse the selection trying to find one that would match.
Yami Marik began to get frustrated when he couldn't find Vairocana anywhere. He had even checked back at the apartment with no luck. 'Guess that means I should try the mall.'

she shyly took the tissue and cleaned her face. she seemed to just lay there, her heart ached, and her soul felt torn. strangley he seemed to heal it slowly. she sat up and smiled at him "you're very nice......."

"Thanks. Hey, would you like to go to the mall and shop. You can get whatever you want and I'm in need of a new wardrobe. Leather isn't comfortable in the hot or cold weather." Marik said glancing at the pants he was wearing. "That and my hoodie vest is makes me freeze when I'm outside."
Vairocana picked up a pair of light blue sandals. There were three small straps the crossed over the foot and two straps that wrapped around the ankle making an X on both sides of the leg before connecting in the front. Heading towards a dressing room Vairocana thought she had seen Yami Marik walk past. Rushing to the room she slipped in and locked the door.
Yami Marik scowled as he looked in every store he thought Vairocana would be in. Passing by a dressy type store he began to wonder what the Millennium Tiara allowed Vairocana to do.

Easarue nodded "sure....but i do have a little bit of money....." she pulled out about $200 "i usually save the money i get or find for food..... or anything else that i need to live...." she flt kind of imbaressed so she kind of blushed "besides its been a while since i've bought some clothes...." she seeme very independent. she smiled cutely at him.

Marik smiled. "You hold onto that money alright? I'll buy your clothes. Luckily my yami didn't find the four credit cards I had stashed away in a hidden location. So now I have those and money in another bank if we need it. I'll call a taxi to take us to the mall. That way we don't have to walk." Picking up the phone he dialed a nearby taxi service. While waiting for the phone to ring he looked at Easarue. "I don't want any protesting from you about this alright. Its my treat and you deserve it."

Easarue blushed wildly, while stuttering "u-um, w-well, ok....." she lowered her head shyly as he hair covered her face. she couldn't really protest. he was so sweet and nice, and she wasnt use to it. plus she started liking him, but tried to hide it.

Marik hung up the phone as he turned to Easarue. "The cab will be here in about five minutes. Do you have a coat at all? Its rather chilly."

Marik smiled. "Don't worry I have an extra one in my room." Taking her hand in his he lead her out of Ishizu's room and into his own. "Odion is out too. He went to the ice cream parlor to try out all their ice creams. Heh heh. All 36 flavors." Opening the closet door he pulled out a black light winter coat. "Here ya go. See if it fits. If not I'll find another one"
