Yeah.

The places I'm starting to RP though, and the RPers I work with, are starting to become more honest as I move away from all the BS RPers.

Consequently, some of the best h2h matches and most entertaining, have been outside the walls of Lu Bu.

Tru and Leyli's match has gone completely downhill. It's so botched up that I'm not even going to waste another post on it. The woman is quite invincible, giving no point at even trying. Every post she has made has been only to her advantage. Plus, she can't keep up with the moves happening. Her pictures only add for worse, though it was a cute touch in the beginning.

You bothered to solve problems with Leyli through PMs or ask Crawley's advice first?
PostPosted: Thu Dec 14, 2006 8:24 am

I posted to Leyli in the thread, which was made for Crawley to look over. I'm just now sending him a PM. ^^

Wow, I won. Disappointedly by time out, though.

I predict the championship match will be made of people who rose to thier match by time outs.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 14, 2006 1:24 pm

It's how most tournaments with time-outs end up.
HoH had the right idea with a post limit, but that does require judging.

And K.O.'s usually can't be achieved in seventeen posts per person.

Reiko was getting close with the 10k thing, but people still don't seem entirely motivated.
It certainly saves cash on prize pots, since everybody's paying their own way.

But there's gotta be some way to make people fight even if it's rough.

Kraun had the right idea. I just tried to enforce it a bit more by setting the fee at 10k like "punishment" for time wasted by non-serious people.

It's really no sweat off my skin if someone decides not to post on time.

The reward isn't really coming out of my pocket. And the only one that can be blamed is the person disqualified.

If losing 10k isn't enough to motivate people to simply post on time then.. hey.. whatever. Winner of the tournament gets a free ride and walks away about a 80+k richer.

They stayed around and posted on time.. and won their matches (if they had any) so they deserve it. *shrugs*

It would only be some sort of major disappointment if the person who was DQ-ed was actually stomping the other person into the ground.

As long as the DQ'd person was losing I have no major regrets about the decision.

[.Maelthorn.]
I thought it was kind of rediculous that you could fit three attacks in while I was only moving a foot away..

Here is where you look dumb.

[.Maelthorn.]
He would stop his left hand, pulling it back; he would then move his head backwards, as well as his torso some, and dodge the hook. As it would most liekly be dodge, he would skip back about a foot and a half, his left foot still forward.

So, that's already 1.5 feet.

Kichiro Oda
Kichiro snickered and followed in persuit as the kid skipped back a foot and a half. That'd be plenty of time to pull back the left hook into a gaurd.

... For Kichiro's right was coming in another jab, but lower and into Gunner's abdomen.

The left side of his gut of course.

That's one attack in 1.5ft. A right jab.

[.Maelthorn.]
Simple enough.

With his hands still where they were, his right arm moves down to deflect the jab with his forearm. He would then continue to move back, keeping his arms where they were since Kichi seemed to be rather relentless in his attacks.

You deflect a right jab with a right forearm, crossing your body.

You ALSO state continuing to go back. Since going back meant 1.5 feet last time, it's reasonable to assume another 1.5 ft.

That's THREE FEET. Still only one attack so far...

Kichiro Oda
"You are a bore."

Kichiro kept moving in with a shuffle step, now throwing a left uppercut towards Gunner's chin. ...Gunner kept moving back out of arm reach, so the 6'5" Chimagin would follow the uppercut with a quick snapping left shin kick to the inside of Gunner's left thigh.

Two more attacks come since it is now three feet. This being a combo.

That's one attack at the first 1.5feet. And a two atk combo thrown at 3ft, and that's rediculous how?

[.Maelthorn.]

So, his left hand opened and moved forward slightly, most likely catching the fist in his palm. Following one of the principles of JKD, he'd raise his left leg and tuck it in just enough so he could raise it; and it would then shoot out in a vicious and quick side-kick into Kichi's stomach.

Here, after moving back for two posts, he decides to move everything forward.

Going to catch a left uppercut with his left hand, after he already crossed his right in front of his left side to block a jab.

He comepletely ignores the kick coming in at his left thigh. Even though he could have taken advantage of me going off balance with throwing two attacks from the same side.

Last move I take where Gunner decides to just pretend the fight never happened.
Gunner would now be crossing his body left and right with his hands, making a peculiar display as Kichiro's left shin came in contact with Gunner's left thigh.

Raising one's leg and going to a side kick, did not take their thigh away from an inside kick at the other direction. Gunner might still be able to get some of his foot to impact Kichiro, but with so little force because the inside of his thigh had Kichiro's left shin up against it, that it wouldn't really bother the Chimagin.

Not to mention, with Gunner moving back half the time, suddenly going forward wouldn't be carrying any momentum or speed with it.

Kichiro's uppercut would not wait for Gunner to take hold of it, coming down after it impacted whatever it impacted in instinct. Kichiro's right forearm would come down to smack that "vicious" side kick away at the level of Gunner's left shin.

Kichiro's left foot would then be returning to the ground to maintain balance, with his left hand up in a gaurd.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

well...

1+1+1=3

Therefore x = 3>1^3

which is aprox. 333.33 ms at 1.5 range at the span of 3.

Stop throwing jabs at the abdomen is my thought.
