Hiro gave a snarl at his new rider, and shook himself vigorously in order to knock the loopy Ampharos off of him. Once Beacon was back on the ground, Hiro glared at the Himtonlee before him, dancing from foot to foot eagerly. It lunged suddenly, its foot ready to make contact with the massive Arcanine, and Hiro opened wide, grabbing the offending foot with is teeth and shaking the fighting-type Pokemon viciously. Hitmonlee got back to its feet, still hopping up and down and jabbed forward, its intent on smashing the Light Screen with a Brick Break. Hiro had other plans for the fighter, inhaling deeply and loosing a powerful blast of flames right in the Hitmonlee's face. It feel, defeated. The Rocket called him back, and shook his head. "Worthless Pokemon!" he snarled, as he sent out his second and last Pokemon: a Hypno. It fixed its eyes on its pendulum, swinging it back and forth, and suddenly caused it to stop, its gaze now shifting back and forth between Beacon and Hiro.

Dante looked unimpressed up into the sky. "All right. Shiva use Hail." He comanded from the sidelines. The seal pokemon grinned befor glowing slighly the room's temperature dropping dramatically as ice started to form in the air befor a srong wind started which started to pelt everything in the room with hail. Sure the attack wasn't very damaging but it would help boost Shiva's allready powerful ice moves. Dante stared out at the battle not caring much or even pulling his coat around him more as the ice and cold wind whipped through the arena.

Winona was glad that her jumpsuit was padded with Fearow downfeathers, it kept her warm even with the peircing winds when she flew on her Pokemon. Aerodactyl gave one last flap of its powerful wings, swooping down like a comet on the unsuspecting Sealeo. Its overwhelming speed and hardness of skin made for an intense impact. After the strike the rocky bird Pokemon looped in the air, returning to Winona's side of the arena. It let out a high pitched yell, awaiting it's next orders.
Winona stood observently, eyeing Dante to see his next move.

"Well fine then Hiro, be that way." Mike remarked as the Arcanine seemed too angry to enjoy Beacon's company. He eyed the Hypno warily, not sure what in fact it was. They don't have those in Hoenn...
"Doggy!" Beacon danced around the giant dog Pokemon as if the two were best friends, clapping and giggling like there was no battle going on. Mike snapped the Pokemon back to reality with a command. "Beacon, I don't know what that thing is but I don't like it. Thunderpunch that...yellow thing! Make sure you don't hit yourself!" The Ampharos tore off, it's lack of aerodynamics made the speed of the attack that more unbelieveable. Luck was in Mike's hand for Beacon scored I direct hit, a powerful electric uppercut slammed right into the Hypno.
"Crunch that overgrown mutt Glalie!" The Rocket ordered, a slight hint of worry could be detected as he spoke. The Pokemon shot off, clasping its jaws on the distracted Arcanine.

Kasiya gave Mike an odd look at his comment, flinching as she heard Hiro cry out in pain. "Don't just stand there, Hiro!" she called. Use Flame Wheel!" Hiro shook himself, trying to dislodge the giant ball of ice that was clinging to him, and a nasty grin appeared on the Arcanine's face. He started to run, his large paws making no sound as they hit the ground, his body becoming engulfed with fire. The Glalie shieked as the fire scorched it, and let go. Hiro stopped running, and pawed the ground anxiously, fierce growls eminating from deep in his throat.
Thankful that a high special defence stat was in his favour, the Rocket grinned as the last of the electricity coursed through the Hypno's body. "Poison Gas!" the sinister man yelled, an evil grin spreading across his face.
The Hypno took several steps back, its pendulum once again starting to sway back and forth. It continued to sway, its motions changing until it swung around in a full circle. In the center of the circle, a tiny green dot formed, but as the Hypno made the loops wider and wider, the dot grew, and soon it began to give off a noxious odor as the poisonous gas wafted throughout the room.

"Agh! Take Down now!" The Glalie shook itself off, water splashing everywhere. The Pokemon charged into the Arcanine, slamming it with its horns.
Beacon coughed and wheezed at the noxious fumes permiating in the air. "Stinky a nono!" He covered his nose, darting away, his tail bouncing around wildly as he ran off.
Mike was confused as to why it used such a weak move, but shrugged it off ashim being a bad trainer. "Beacon, use Strength on that thing!" He could see victory in his eyes, still a perfect record when he and Kasiya battled together.
The electric Pokemon's 'hands' shone a white color as Beacon dug his arms into the floor, ripping up a chunk of the Gym and hurling it at the psychic Pokemon.

Hiro let out a pained grunt, digging in his heels and sliding back a few feet from the attack. He shoved against the ice Pokemon with all his might, amazed at how mugh weight this thing had behind it. "It's time to take the Nitro-approach!" Kasiya announced, cringing as pieces of floor chunked off as the secion of floor Beacon had just used as a weapon smashed into tiny pieces over the head of the Hypno. Hiro gave a nod, lowering his head and giving the Glalie a head-on Flamethrower. It had nowhere to go, the intense heat given off by the attack caused the air to ripple.
"Hypno! Blast that silly Ampharos with a Psychic attack!" the Rocket cried, starting to look panic-stricken. The Hypno and its pendulum both shone with a silvery radiance, and the same aura outlined Beacon as the psychic Pokemon unleashed its attack.

The Glalie rolled aside, fainted and a bit smaller due to melting. "Yikes!" Recalling his Pokemon, the Rocket scampered off out the Gym.
Beacon was struck by the powerful blast, the Light Screen wearing off just moment before. It was strong, but not fatal, as the Ampharos hopped backwards, unhappy. "Grrr." He showed his first case of agression since his capture. "Like not the stinky big nose I do!" Clapping his hands together and letting out a cry, Beacon called down a second Thunder attack, striking through the roof and crashing into the Hypno.
"Woo! That's the way!" Mike cheered on his Pokemon, happy to see him acting tough for once.

Shiva fell back slightly but didn't flinch to much, she waited for her next comand as the ice fell around them and the cold wind whipped around them. He didn't even flinch as a large chunk of ice fell right next to him, in the swirling snow and ice he really did look like an ice princess. "Shiva use Aurora Beam." He said his calm voice could be heard over the loud wind.
Shiva just barked and opened her mouth and shot a bluish purple icey beam at the flying dinasaur. ((Sorry I had to include the ice princess thing))

Mag walked on. "Yes! It looks like the exit!" He shouted with joy as they saw the faint outline of a building wall through the trees. "Okay Sunfire race you there!" Mag said to the pokemon that still remained outside of it's pokeball.
The two began running full tilt. Mag was in the lead. Then the flareon moved ahead. Mag kicked it up a notch and resumed first. Then suddenly out of the bushes nothing jumped out. Sunfire slipped ahead with a Quick Attack and made it to the designated finish line seconds ahead.
"Tch. No fair I can't do that!" Mag said as the door to the rest house slid open and the two walked inside.

Even though it looked as though it were about to faint anyways, Hiro charged the Hypno with a Take Down, smashing it to the ground with his massive front paws. Growling and snarling, the Arcanine released his opponent, and trotted back over to Beacon, where he sniffed at the odd Ampharos, his tongue lolling out of his mouth happily. He licked Beacon across the face, and made his way over to Kasiya, nuzzling the girl with his head. "Way to go, Hiro," Kasiya giggled, petting him. "You were awesome!" She glanced over at the cowering Rocket, who'd just recalled his Hypno. "Hey!" she yelled over at him in a loud, fake whisper. "Isn't this the part where you run away?" He gave a bit of a yelp, and dashed off after his partner. "We did it!" Kasiya grinned, resisting the urge to jump up and down. Hiro sat down beside her, completely dwarfing his trainer. "What's next?" she asked no one in particular.

"Great job," Flannery said, walking up to the two. "You guys battle well together," she added, a hint of jealousy in her voice. "But those guys only seemed like low-rung grunts, not even the tip of the ice berg." Flannery crossed her arms as her Hoondoom came padding over to sit next to her. He looked up at the Arcanine with a respective gaze, nodding his head slightly.

Mag and Sunfire continued through to the final stretch before Pewter City. The route was mostly vacant of any trainers and there was a large overgrown grass patch that just begged to be cut through since the path took an akward L shape.
"So I suppose I'll send you up first Sun and then switch to Tsunami whenever you can't continue okay?" Mag told his pokemon once again. "At least this way we might stand a chance. Hopefully it won't be more than a two pokemon battle."
"Hey you!" A kid yelled as he held out a pokeball. "I challenge you and your puny little fire monster to a battle!" He shouted as he sent out a large pokemon known as Pidgeotto. It soared around and then moved in with a Gust. "Thanks for letting me accept before attacking." Mag said sarcasticly as Sunfire avoided the attack. "Whoops. Oh well you have to accept anyway." The kid added snobbily. "Now use Quick Attack!"
"Sunfire use your Quick Attack!" Mag shouted. The two streaked twards eachother and collided midair. Both dropped back but the Flareon recovered first. He moved in for the hit and launched an Ember on the bird. It took the hit and then launched a gust which knocked back Sunfire.

Beacon trilled in sheer joy at Hiro's act of kindness. He hopped around yelling random assembled words that no one could comprehend.
"Ok 'Mr. Hyper' time to go back in the ball before you hurt yourself." Mike chuckled at his goofy Pokemon, recalling him back inside his Pokeball. Felsic and Beacon's confinements were clipped to his backpack strap as Mike let out a sigh of relief. "That was tough!" He said, almost winded, the adrenaline still rushing through him.
Flannery's advice did little to sway the boy's resolve to stir up trouble. "I'm sure there's more stuff to do around here, let's get crackin'!" Mike walked off proudly, winning battles always felt good, but a Rocket victory was even sweeter.

Needless to say Aerodactyl was quite cold, combining the Hail and the Aurora Beam. The attack struck hard, but he could take a few more. "Time to put your strong attack score to the test, Rock Slide!" Winona shouted, putting her flight goggles over her eyes to shield them from the harsh winds.
The Pokemon flapped its wings and kicked its legs, an avalanche of snow covered rocks appeared from the icey winds, crashing into the Sealeo.
