Severus's ears twitched. He glanced behind him slowly, to see Sol standing there. Something about him was... unsettling... His tail flicked slowly behind him. "Yes..?"

Sol eyed the hybrid slowly, as though he were studying him. He looked... more than a little nuts. And who could blame him?
"I just wanted to make sure you were alright... you know - after..."

Severus frowned, then looked away. Was it guilt..? "Yes.. I am.. Thank you.." He sighed and looked back at Sol. "I'm sorry for what happened.."

Sol tried not to blame. He was on a hair-trigger as of late, and it wouldn't do him any good to be making false accusations. He drew in a deep breath, and sighed it out, releasing the tension as well. His own tail started flicking back and forth wildly. Saying more than he ever could with words.
"You will let me know if there are any problems? I'm here if you need me."

Severus noticed the other's actions. Body language spoke louder than words. His dark eyes narrowed slightly. "I realize you have gone through a terrible tragedy, but if you have something to say to me, say it."

tbiris When Desmond shivered, Artemus looked up at him in concern before he followed his gaze. The shock hit, and he didn't quite notice Desmond's stronger grip on him. The blood drained from his face, and no words came. Shadow_windstars Sandalon giggled as Remi ran down and followed slowly. What would he make...mmmm waffles maybe? He smiled watching Remi's tail. Such a beautiful tail.

Artemus buried his face into Desmond's chest. His frame shook, and tears fell from his face unbidden.
"Le-lets g-go f-find others," he stuttered.

Nefer walked into the shop, his face in his hands, and sat down on a nearby couch. The wolf couldn't believe that Damien had been killed... As much as the raven-haired wolf had annoyed him, he was really one of the only members of his old pack that didn't wish harm against him... "Wonder how Khaldun will take to this... Having let one of his pack members be shot..."

Severus fell back over the side of the couch he was on, Sol ontop of him and pinning him down. He hissed as the other's hands caught his throat, squirming and clawing at him in an attempt tp break free. One of his hands grabbed onto Sol's wing, the claws digging deep into the membrane and trying to pull him off. Dammit... The grip on his neck was cutting off his breathing...

Sol didn't release. The pain in his wing only made him attack more ferociously, growling, and starting to tear at the other hybrid's chest with his teeth. He was enraged - incensed. He had lost his lover, and with Hawke had gone his mind.

Severus gagged, his eyes rolling into the back of his head. He was starting to lose consciousness. His struggling grew weaker. His hand tried to reach for his wand.. If he could just get it...

Sol could neither hear, nor see. All he felt or heard was red. RED. Blood red. Like the blood he had in his mouth. The wounds he was creation were shallow, but they bled. And that blood was what riled him up further. He roared out a scream of pain and anguish, and started lashing his tail hard. One, two, three... the fourth angry lash knocked Sev's wand in reach. But was it too late?

Severus's eyes rolled into the back of his head, even though he could feel the wand just at the tips of his fingers.
That was when Mingan seemed to come out of nowhere. He grabbed a fistful of Sol's hair and pulled him back, away from Severus. There was a sickening crack as the grey wolf broke his neck... He dropped Sol's limp body, his blue eye staring at it as he breathed heavily.
Severus had rolled onto his side, gasping to catch his breath, staring with wide eyes as well...
