Laying in her sister's warm lap, Elva stayed unconcious, a groan of pain escaping that of her lips. Her expression contorted as she arched her back lightly, before bringing it back down, her face returning to normal. Then... silence.

Shadow looked over at Elva and thought for a moment. "Unless she gets a potion to reverse the effect, she'll wake up weak tomorrow." it said.

"A potion?" She asked before allowing her eyes to fall to her sister whom moved so suddenly. Raine's eyes fell to her broadsword laying on the ground near her sister's weapon. "What of white magic?" She asked, arching a brow.

"Yes..." it said, thinking for a moment. "If you knew how to restore a person's abilities with magic, then it would work."

With a nod, Raine placed her pale, slender hand beneath her sister's head before leaning over, reaching for her weapon. If she could just touch it, she could shift it into a staff and then in turn, heal her sister. With her finger lightly grazing the blade of her broadsword, the sharp edge made a small incision in her index finger. As she pulled her hand away fro her weapon to place her bleeding thumb into her mouth to stop the minor cut, her heavy, steel sword shifted into a finely crafted oak staff.

"Just remember, she probably holds some bad will towards me." Shadow said watching her move to restore Elva's strength. "Don't let her kill me. Master would be very displeased."

Raine chuckled lightly as she shifted the tip of her staff to hover over her sister's chest. "She won't kill you, Shadow.." A blue-tinged, bright light began to generate at the end of her staff, as she lowered it towards her sister to restore the strength that was taken away from her, it began to shift to a light green. "And if she attempts to.. well, like you've asked, I'll se to it that she won't, alright?" A faint grin pressed across the council member's lips as she glanced up at him.

"I don't think she knows how anyway, but it would be appretiated if you did keep her away." Shadow said with a nod.

"Not a problem." She said with a grin, staring down at her sister as the healing magic began to flow through her body. There would be a slight shock, somewhat like an electric one. She knew this from personal experience. As she lowered her eyes back down to her sister, Raine began to hum a gentle hymn. The tune was beary heard, but if one listened close enough, it would be heard.

Shadow growled for a moment then finally said "Would you mind stopping? I can't stand most singing. It always sounds so... angelic..."

Raine chuckled. "No problem. My apologies." She said aloud, pursing her lips before looking down at her sister again. As the light at the tip of her staff began to dwindle, the woman lowered oaken pole to the ground beside her. She moved her fingers through her sister's hair a bit before looking back up at Shadow. "What.. do you like, anyway?"

"What do I like?" Shadow repeated, pondering the question for a moment as it paced. "Darkness and my master." it said finally. "A strage question to ask though, isn't it?"

Raine smiled and nodded before returning her gaze down to her sister. "I guess you could say that.." She said in reply, a gentle smile on her face. "Simply curiosity." Shiero said slowly before averting her gaze back up to him.

"I am a creature of evil. Did you expect to get a more interesting or satisfying answer?" Shadow asked, continuing to pace around the room, examining the symbols on the walls and occationaly glancing at Elva.

The light, gentle tone of a silent humming buzzed in Elva's ears. She smiled softly, her eyes remaining closed as the singing quietly faded away. Instantly, a shock of pain pulsed through Elva's veins. Her eyes shot open as her gaze settled on her sister's chin, which was the first thing she saw. Her began to feel normal again; the strength flowing through her. Elva relaxed, letting a quiet sigh pass between her lips. She closed her eyes gently for a moment, before opening them back up, her gaze turning toward the shadow in the corner. Her once peacful expression changed, anger overwhelmming her. She quickly sat up, pushing herself to stand up then... "Ugh..." Elva crashed once again, back to the floor, this time however, catching herself. She pressed her hand to her chest and lowered her head; she just didn't have enough strength.
