Kasida roared with laughter, almost falling off the branch herself. Who did this cub think he was fooling! "Suuuuure you are," She grinned mischievously. "I bet you couldn't even beat a frog in a wrestling match!" She was having fun now, this cub's ego was hilarious! (Though she seemed unaware that her own ego was quite large. XD) When she heard someone calling out to them, her attention turned downward to the panther below them. "Hello."
((Is she a panther or just a black leopard?))

Glaring at her for this reception, the cub sniffed, eyeing the new arrival carefully. This one better not laugh at him. Ah yes, this cub was learning quicker than most that the opposite sex can be fickle. "I bet you couldn't even beat aa ant in a race. I'm bigger and stronger than you, at least!"

Letting out a pretentious laugh, Kasida smirked. "Well, maybe we should let our new friend decide who is the stronger one!" Even though she didn't act like it, the leopard was taking a liking to her new acquaintance! Perhaps one day, she can call him a friend.
((and no, I do not mean 'like' like that. XD She is just a cub!))

((I thought she was a panther...but, well I'll have to check with Dust. She could be a dark leopard.))
(Technically, they're the same thing. They're truly called a 'melanistic leopard,' but most people don't bother with that and call them 'panthers,' instead. smile
Edit: Arrgh, dangit, I did the same thing and editted someone's post instead of quoting it! gonk Truly sorry about that, Lauryn, I need to pay more attention when I post in the guild. gonk )
Not a problem Dusty! I'll just retype it. 3nodding

Eyeing the black leopard circling the base of his tree, Kitambi hollered down to greet her comment. "You could, and I could, but could miss big britches here? I doubt it. I doubt it very much." So saying, the leopard cub shot a telling look at his treetop companion, speaking his almost glee in the sparring match so well arranged. Two equally arrogant participants, and now a referee, how perfect.

After Usiku had made the comment she thought anything could beat an ant in a race, it started to dawn on her what the leopard had really meant. With her paws and claws on the trunk and her small body extended she looked up at the two cubs and grinned.
Would they really use her as a referee? That could prove...troublesome. She didn't want to pick one over the other.
The panther looked up at the cubs above her and frowned, she hadn't had much practice with climbing and doubted whether or not she would be able to climb her way up to them.

Mizaku stretched out his front legs and clicked his claws against the hard dirt. He yawned and moved out of the bushes surrounding the little tree filled area. His tail waved low, brushing dust off the ground and creating a small little cloud behind him. Staring out at the grasslands in front of him, Mizaku noticed a small hare munching happly on the tall golden grass. The leopard licked his lips and crouched down, stepping quitely into the weeds. The hare's ears cocked, and he paused as he picked up the slightest little noise. It cought a glimpse of Mizaku and took off like lightning. Mizaku grunted and hopped into action, chasing after it for a little but soon losing it in a burrow under a large rock. "....stupid hare..." the leopard muttered to himself, panting from the short but speedy chase.

Urari was sitting in the foliage when he noticed a cream colored cub chasing a hare. Urari hadn't met anyone as of yet and decided to go talk to him. He knew he was different than everyone else, but that wasn't going to stop him from making friends. "Hey!" Urari said towards the leopard. He stepped out of the foliage towards the cub. "My name is Urari, what's yours?"
He wondered if he would be aware if it kicked in again..or if he could stop it. He didn't want to scare away his first potential friend.
((Sorry..too short, I know..but I'll get better ^^))

Mizaku hesitated as he heard an unfamiliar voice behin him. He turned with a short growl, and looked over the lion cub a few times. "...so many pride-cats around here..." the leopard muttered to himself, stepping up to Urari carefully, eyeing him oddly -even as a meal.- "...I'm Mizaku..." the leopard informed, sitting down and taking a deep breath as he puffed out his chest, "I killed an eland just the other day..."

::Hodari had long since wandered off to do some exploring of his own, finding himself bored really quick.. He sighed as he sat down under a tree, pawing at the ground with his claws, watching as holes were carved into the dirt.. Maybe.. He should find a new place to explore? If only he could figure out how to get out of this place.... The voices from a few days ago rang within his head.. He knew that one was Mizaku's, for he recalled the tone... But.. The other... The one that had said 'This is my land' or something like that.... Who had -that- been? Maybe they could help him get out of here?::
::The greyish cub held his head up to observe the tree he had sat under, smiling softly to himself.:: "I wanna stay but I wanna go... Funny.." ::He laughed at himself, stretching out his limbs.. Yeah.. It was a rather odd feeling... He enjoyed being in this place.. With all it's trees... All it's creatures... All it's beauty... Yet... Something was calling to him.... He didn't know what was calling to him.. He just knew -something- was and he had to find out what!::

A bright yellow form tried to sneak through the underbrush of the Mistweaver Territory, being remarkably silent although the color was not well hidden by the surrounding foliage. Black spots accompanied the canary yellow hide as it moved along at a slow pace, it's owner stopping here or there to inspect something interesting.
Naturally, at the sound of voices the yellow creature's head snapped up and looked about, eager to find the sources of said noise. Running on legs that would one day take him to over 60 miles an hour, this now cub trudges along at a steady pace and soon reaches the other two cubs; a lion and a leopard.
"Hi, hellohowareyouI'mAsfari." Said the bright yellow cheeta in one quick breath.

"Whoa..you took one of those huge creatures down?" He tried to sound interested though he was not. He didn't really like the fact that he had to kill other animals to survive. But, he'd never complain about eating an animal when he hadn't eaten for a few days. He looked up to the leopard again "How did you manage that, they're about 5 times your size?" Urari was curious about how he took the animal down, he had seen one before. For one, the 4 ft horns don't look very inviting and they weren't afraid to use them.
He noticed the cheetah cub approaching. He had said something to the both of them, but it was so fast Urari didn't even understand a word. "Huh?" He said towards the cheetah.
