In the amount of time that Mini had taken a bath and cleaned up a bit, Cyrus had explained about his own particular abilities to, somehow, enhance clothing that he had through sheer willpower. It was like having an extension of your will making your favorite boots into magical items. But he cut off that explanation when he saw Mini coming back, and quirked an eyebrow at his...companion.
"Actually, I was thinking of seeing the Wise Old Man soon myself...it'll be an interesting stop between here and home, and I could do with a bit of travel. But...if there's trouble, perhaps I should help. I'm not your ordinary bookworm, you know. And If it's just some Goblins making trouble, I'd rather face them head-on than wait in bed. And I just finished the...er...training at the isle to boot."
(And just because I can...Sense Motive on Mini, for my own devious purposes. And my apologies for not posting.)
