Walking over to the pilots chair in the airship, Zetsuei placed his hands on the orbs which controlled the movements of the ship.
"Kyana, can you take a guess on the location of the phoenix temple or on Katrea's whereabouts?"

Maki felt Shinja's touch on her cheek, it was soft and warm. Then he asked her a question and looked over smiling. "Yes?" she asked staring at the flames dancing around the logs. "You know you can ask me anything and I'll answer it as truthfully as I can."

Keeping his gaze upward, Shinja opened his mouth to speak. "We're dealing with such a tremendous power right now, Maki. I'm starting to have doubts, but...do you think we'll survive this?"

"I can not physichally take a guess on the coordinates of the phoenix temple. It wioll most likely be in a n out of the way place like the majority of the other temples. But other than that I do not know. Only the order of the phoenix and its followers will know its coordinates and most of those will not divulge this information."
Kyana looked down.
"As for Katrea the last time i saw him was about the last time your father did at the showdown"

After regaining control of her fear, slowly began to wander the hallway. Her hand slowly trailed along the wall as she looked into each room she had passed by. She was at aw of how grand this ship was, and how well it was build.
Soon a room caught her eye, it wasn't too big yet not too small that she would feel caged within it. She was tired from the exhausting day that she had, and she was sure that the others were aswell. Slowly she walked into the room and sat down taking off her hat and cloak, letting more of her hair fall down around her face. She hung the cloak and hat on the post of the bed then stood up walking over to a window in the room, looking out to the vast sky.

Maki looked at Shinja and reached over and held his hand.
"I don't know ... we'll just have to fight it together and find out," she said staring at his face as it glowed in the firelight. "I did manage to see Kyana before I passed out. She's still cold-hearted as usual ... wonder why she is unable to see the vines? At any rate, it wants to be reborn and is looking for a new body. I just don't know why it chose me to feed on."
Maki paused thinking of the events that recently unfolded before turning her gaze to the fire.
"I'm not even sure what will happen, but we can't let him win ... you know I will fight by your side until the very end if you let me," she said giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

Piloting the airship he made it gained alititude as it rose into the clouds.
"I see, so this temple is going to be hard to find. None the less we still have to find it to cure Shinja and Maki.'
Looking out the windows he guided the ship.
" I have something for Katrea, a sword that my father wished for him to have."

While Maki and Shinja shared a moment the air began to chill. Her skin pale as fog appeared from her breath. "Shinja? If anything happens and we can't be together. I want you to know I appreciate everything you've done for me and for traveling with me up until my illness took its toll," she said releasing his hand to rub hers together for warmth. The fire began dying out. "I want you to know how much I care for you in case I haven't always said it out loud." ========================================== As Maki laid unconscious in her room where Shinja left her to fight the vines, her lips began turning blue as her breathing became shallow and her skin cold. She begins fighting for air as it got harder and harder to breath. Underneath her was a pool of blackened blood which had been seeping out of the wound while the others fought the vines.

Kisaragi felt well rested and thought he could have a look around the ship. As he walked round the ships hall were dark and felt very cold to his skin and fur. Then again he's not use to all this indoor thing, he was normally under the warm summer sun or next to a warm fire in winter. Looking around for a window so he could just feel the suns raise on him, he found a window and stared at the sun squinting his eyes from the blinding light.
"...Ahh, I hope my sister maybe back in one piece..."
Kisaragi thought back to before he left her and remembered the conversation about the family...
"...Errr, there is something i have to talk to you about...you see when you run from the family the humans that hunted you came back after they lost you and...and touched the place. Mother and Father were...tied down, they couldnt move..." With a tear comign form Kisaragi eye as he remember the story "...I'm not sure where you will go but there graves are south of this location, here...take this food, i need to go help a friend..."

Shinja smirked as he closed his eyes, cherishing Maki's touch on his hand. "...until the end, eh?" He let out a muffled laugh before suddenly opening his eyes, noticing that the fire was going out. "I'll take care of this...don't worry." Smiling without the oversized collar of his coat to cover it up, Shinja began to make the fire grow with magic. ****************************************** At the same time (in the real world), however, things weren't look so bright. While Maki's wound was starting to bleed again, a small trail of black liquid ran down the side of Shinja's mouth, gradually turning into a much larger trail. Both his and Maki's dark blood seemed to attract each other, and only moments later were the two puddles one. The single puddle suddenly started to bubble as if boiling and it soon began to change. In moments, the puddle had formed into someone that only Zetsuei had seen and encountered before... The man's blue attire hadn't changed a bit, but this time, sparks of blue, magical energy crackled around his fingertips as he walked out of Maki's room and into the great hallway of the ship.

Fira yawned while staring out the window and shook her head, yet for some reason she still wasn't tired enough to fall asleep. Before sleep her body needed something else, food. She had not had anything all day and the battle with the vines added to her hunger. She wondered back out of the room leaving her hat and cloak for she would be gone for very long, that was if she didn't get lost in this ship.
Exploring the halls, however, seemed to prove that this ship was a little easier to find your way through then she had thought. Soon she came upon what she was looking for, a kitchen. There she grabbed what she needed, but not much only a small vine of grapes, and an apple. She made her way back out into the hallway and headed back to her room, while she plucked the grapes off one by one then popped them into her mouth, "Maybe now I'll get some sleep."

Maki smiled as Shinja laughed almost giggling herself. "What?" she said nudging his shoulder with her own as she watched him build the fire back up. "It can happen." She smiled as he built the fire back up then suddenly look down at her hands. Her skin was turning pale. "Shinja?! Something is happening," she said worried hugging her waist as a burst of pain shot through her side, then looked up at Shinja with a worried look on her face. "Something is happening to you too." ============================================ In the real world, Maki continued fighting for the next breath of air clutching her heart.

Shinja raised an eyebrow to Maki. "Hm? What do you mean?" Remaining calm as usual, Shinja casually looked downward at his body. The black, smoke-like markings that originated at his right hand had spread all the way to his right pectoral muscle. "This can't be good at all..." Oblivious to his own condition, Shinja quickly rushed to Maki and embraced her. "Not to be the pessimist here...but things aren't looking to good for us, Maki." ************************** In the real world, the blue-clad Shadow Rogue known as Tenshin had already found his first victim. Still completely under the control of Sett, Tenshin remained emotionless as he calmly opened the door to Fira's room.

"Owie! This hurts. He must be near," Maki said wincing with ever pulse of pain. "Might as well get ready for his next torture." Maki got up and looked around, in the distance an orange glow began rising from the ground lighting up the room.

Kisaragi started to close his eyes when he suddenly got a this shiver down his back.
"...Hmm, shivers can never be good..."
He got up from the floor and walked around the hall for a bit looking for people. Walking in to the place where they entered the craft most of them were sitting around there.
"...Hmm, you humans think there something odd going on?..."
Kisaragi continued to walk round the ship looking for thing that could be out of place.
