Takato thought of something else. He picked up Autumn and put her on his back.
"Do you want to see what it's like to fly?"

Takato nodded. He flapped his wings a couple of times, then jumped, sailed five feet, then landed. He tried again, and managed to get airborne, flying into the air 5 feet higher than his glide, 3 feet.

Autumn shrieked and clung on almost as if her life was in danger. Her hair flew every which way, her popery scent filling the air, and the aura of leaves flying all through the wind around them.

Takato banked his left wing and turned left.

Autumn knew that it was foolish to be afraid of flying.... For she was the daughter of a Phoenix. So, gradually, she began to sit up on Takoto's back, spreading her arms and wings out.
"Ph-Phoenix... Me........ Tacoto.."

Takato leveled out, then slanted upward and flew higher.

Slowly but surely, Autumn began to giggle. A smile began to creep onto her face and her giggles became more known.

Takato smiled, flying effortlessly now. He couldn't go much higher though, but Autumn seemed to be enjoying herself.

The giggles turned into laughter rather quickly. Autumn's wings were flowing with the wind, as was her hair. She began to slightly sit up straighter on Takato's back, wanting to be higher than the wind.

Takato was as high as he could go, before the wind wouldn't support him, and he'd drop. He leveled out and flew around.

Feeling the slight change in air pressure, Autumn fell onot Takato's back, gripping on tightly because of the scare.
