kibo_botch Kibo: Tundra Yetis? Never seen one. I bet I could take 'em down, though.
"Big shaggy things. Strong as an Orge with tough leathery hide to protect 'em. They shed regularly with the seasons to so their fur matchs the color of the tundra they live on."

"You want to fight these things?" She blinked, turning her gaze to Gwen as she'd looked to her. She tilted her head before turning back to the story. She watched the captain with mild curiousty.

Kibo turns around, and smiles at Jaxxon.
Kibo: Of course! What could be more fun than fighting something twice your size?

"Drinkin' some good ale or fighting some goblins?"
Hantore chuckled slyly.
"Or playin' Lafat."

kibo_botch Kibo: Lafat? Never heard of it...
"It's a card game. Ye put yer cards down like soldier formations, but face down and try to destroy yer oppontes formations. Each card can move one space at a time an' the higher numbers defeat the lower ones. Say I 'ave a five an' I move it onto one o' yer forward cards, a 7. Ye win the 'battle' an' 'kill' me 5. The object of the game is either to 'kill' all of yer opponets soldiers or kill the king."

Kibo chuckles at the description.
Kibo: Can all the cards move? I've played a game in England much like the one you're talking about. I believe it was called, "chess." Never was very good at it. But I'm willing to give this a shot. Wanna play?

By now, Gwendolyn had finished half the bottle. Such children you all are to be playing games! hic I say we start towards that horizon and find those so called yetis. 'Tis about time we got away from this wretched island and headed out to open sea. Who knows? We might find a merchant ship or two that we could raid!

Kibo: Of course I do. What other fun is there?

"O' course they can! An' besides, I'd rather play with cards, then lug around tha' big board."
Hantore chuckled and turned toward Gwen.
"An' who might ye be, pretty lass?"

Kibo beams, and lets out a hearty laugh.
Kibo: Excellent. Now, for the deck.
Kibo lifts up his pant leg, and reveals a small knife case. He pulls out the knife, revealing a single card.
Kibo: The Ace of Spades. Now, for a little "magic," you could call it...
Kibo rubs the card in between his hands, and pulls them apart, revealing a full deck palmed in his right hand.
Kibo: Okay, let's play. Now, what happens when two cards of equal rank attack each other?

"They cancel each other out until one o' the players moves a second card up to attack his opponets. Aye, ye can tag team a higher card."
Hantore grinned and took a large swig from a flask off his belt.
