The way it reads, you cannot use any upgrades for your marines. Thing is, you can use terminators for ALL of your choices. In other words, you can upgrade them to Terminators, but you cannot give anyone that is not A chosen, or A Sorceror any upgrades beyond that. But they are one of the best move and shoot armies, if not THE best for that sort of thing.

So, that actually confused me more! I cannot take the Plasma Gun or the Lascannon for standard troops?

So, that actually confused me more! I cannot take the Plasma Gun or the Lascannon for standard troops? No you cannot. You cannot take upgrades basically. Here is an example. Troops choice for A Thousand Sons army. 9 Basic Chaos Marines, with Sorceror Champion. The only one that can get an upgrade is the Champion. Here is the only upgrade the basic Thousand Sons Marine can take. Terminator armor. That is it for them. No weapon upgrades I am afraid.

Aha, I feel like an amatuer. But I am not used to anything less than a Gauss Flayer. 2+ save with 5+ Invurnable. And I top this off with Rubric ov Ahriman, and I have unstoppable killing machines, no?

But it is balanced out by the fact that they have to make difficult terrain tests EVERY turn, to see how far they move, regardless of any upgrades.

Now, I have heard this rumour many times over, but will Kaos recieve a new Terminator set?

I have not heard that as of yet. I doubt it myself. It does not seem like GW to do so. As it stands, they may release A new termie for them, but it is more than likely going to be metal.

GW are lazy. I'd expect them to make a sprue for "chaos" parts with new heads on, some bodies without imperial eagles, and maybe some legs with marks of chaos on for the leader of the unit, and then... A SPRUE OF SPIKED BITS. Because they ALWAYS stick that piece of s**t in all their stuff.

It is easier to make metal ones than plastic, and they can charge more. 3nodding

Well, it is easier for one, because in ALOT of the metal ones, there is only one point you have to pour to get it to ook good. For the plastic, it needs to be distributed evenly.
