Eulalia Danae ((Alloran wasn't winning, he was out of MP, and armed with a gun and powers, Cathy would have beaten him. As for Anc, you throw an apple at Alloran, and he'll run in front of it all protective and obnoxious....it's how his character has always been. It's just like if Bobby saw Ruby fighting someone and getting her butt kicked, would he just stand back and watch?)) ((falling apart doesn't mean Blink can't continue with his campaign, there's still much to accomplish after all.)) ((Reading back, I notice that Cathy doesn't have a gun either, but Alloran has his sword...and Anc has his as well))

((I assumed she had, considering it was listed in her profile....and I suppose I always mentally picture a gun when someone yells "you're under arrest put your hands in the air." But in any sense Alloran had just found his sword which was imperative for returning his memory, and armed or not she did insist on a fight. And as I've said before, you're free to bring in more PSO's to back her up.))

Alloran sent up a shield of emerald, blocking one of the punches and shattering, and the second coming through and hitting him, given that it was powered.
He stumbled back from the punches to the knee, and corrected himself, lunging foreward, swinging Dyrwyn down with one arm, the blades on his other arm coming slashing at her as well.
SP:0 LP:10
((And I think that's game, given the attacks on both fronts. If not, I'm gonna have to ask Anc to jump in the way of a few attacks.))

Xeen Soldevi Cathy Lee As Cathy circled Alloran, she let loose with a pair of punches to his side (one powered, one not). [mp1:sp0:lp17] Anc took a swing at Cathy's side, charging the length of rebar with a brief bust of electricity, following up with the Soul ((MP: 9 SP: 5 LP: 50. It also occured to me that I forgot what Anc's second power is. It's the mind thing, isn't it?)) Cathy knoocked the charged rebar back into the sword, trying to twist out of its way at the same time. She didn't quite make it, however, and pain lanced through her side. [mp0:sp0:lp12]

With the last of her strength, she manages to avoid both the sword's edge and the spikes on Alloran's arm, but not the full force of the blows, and falls to the ground unconscious. Alloran stood up straight, cracking his neck after the fight, a wild grin as he felt the fight warm him up. He swung Dywyn over his head, bringing it down at Cathy's head.

((That's not quite the way you phrased it in the rules...she woke up at home, with all her various injuries, except the killing blow - which she wouldn't remember anyway. As for the role - she's an idealist. If someone can convince her that she's on the wrong side, that the Six (or one of them) are not following the ideals they promote... If Anc hadn't joined the fight, she probably would have been able to knock Alloran out, but she would have gained a lot of respect for him in the process, and been willing to listen to him - as it is, she'll probably decide that he's the one who brought her home...))

((It was a good fight, though. I just wish that the rules allowed for some of the combo moves that martial arts uses - turning an opponent's attack back on him, i.e. the throw that I tried to use))

Although Cathy might not be attacked by PSO's, when it comes o the others, leaving them injured and in a place of vulnerability would really kind of suck. But if you want to follow the letter of the law, that's fine, but I still reserve the right to bend my own rules when I wanna xd ))
((Aye, but that sort of attack would qualify Cathy to block and attack using the same power usage, which would essentially be unfair. It's still a possibility to do a combo attack though with a double intensity power use, or in Cathy's case, one MP use, and one SP use, or even a double intensity MP use, and one SP use. But even in that case the opposing force still has the right to react to that throw or attack with a power use deflection, or some other type of action.))

((Of course it would still be a double action, just as when I tried the throw (2 non-powered combat actions, a block and an attack). I would not have yelped if Alloran had used an action to avoid the damage from the throw, or even to just pick Cathy up by her grip on his wrist (since he probably outweighs her 3-1), it was the instant reversal of momentum that bothered me - and that he was negating the attack without damage or power use.))

Alloran swung his sword in an upward arc at the air. At first, it seemed pointless, but suddendly a far building burst into flame as the whole block was rocked with the shockwave. The fire took form, and began leaping from building to building. Alloran raised an arm, and the buildings to his side erupted into fire. Soon all the near buildings were ablaze, casting a hellish glow over the him. He started walking, lighting the buildings as he went, detonating cars along the streets.
