((Yeah, I guess its high time we set out. What the hell was going on for the past twenty five pages anyway?))
Tanyeera opted to form rearguard, and hung back to wait for the others to go ahead of her. Idly, she wondered who was going to lead the horse. Isarelle, maybe? The creature did belong to her.

((Eh . . . Making introductions and getting what's going to happen in the story in order. Thought I'm sure we could have taken less time while going about it. Oh well, what happens happens.))
Isarelle took Meena by the reigns and pulled her along, walking behind the others excited to finally embark on the journey she had only dreamt about for the past months.
“At this rate we’ll be able to get across Soul’s River before sundown.” Garren’s voice sounded in her head, “I’m sure we should camp just on the other side so we have a water source. This will also make hunting easier.”
Isarelle nodded and looked to all the others in the group to relay the information, “Once we get to Souls River within the forest we will take up camp just on the other side. I’m sure that there is a spot commonly used by travelers for a camp near the water so we will rest there.”
Isarelle looked to everyone as they entered the forest and noticed that they were one short. Adencia wasn’t there. Glancing around quickly she heard a rustling in the trees. As she looked up she saw Adencia climbing through the branches, moving from one tree to the next.
“Do you always do that?” She asked, not trying to sound rude but merely wondering.
“Yes,” Adencia answered shortly, “And when we get into my homelands you will see why.”

"But I'm not worried about any bandits or wolves, thoes we can deal with. I am more worried about the weather, cause I keep getting hints that there is a big storm on our heels." Thorn continued up the path with Kayoe at his side. "I just hope we have camp secured before it hits."

Cerdik shivered at the mentioning of a storm. He both loved and hated them. The rain and the power of it all was truly awe-inspiring, but the rain and power were also the two most frightening factors for him. Chilled rain constantly pounding his frail body was the last thing he wished for. "Not again," he mumbled to himself as his thoughts began to drift. His gaze fell to Thorn's heels as they walked, simultaneously fretting and trying to calm himself about the whole storm.
A quick blowover, to be sure. It shan't belay the warmth long. But if it defies wishing? No, such a horrid impulse to contemplate. It MUST exist naught but briefly. It must. "It must," he murmured, and clenched his hands about the leather a little tighter. With a soft sigh, he lifted his head up again and looked about. It seemed all was in order for now, but in Cerdik's mind a storm was looming behind them quickly gaining speed. It seemed ready to bowl him over with its great winds and beat him with its chilling waters until he submitted to it. Every so often, he glanced over his shoulder to reassure himself that nature's beast was not creeping too close.

Kayoe thought about it for a moment. The warrior in him liked the idea of a duel, but his curse made it slightly dangerous to do so. The age difference (if there even was one) didn’t bother him, he had dueled Merinas at a younger age then Thorn looked, and he gave the impression of being much older then he looked. “It seems fair to warn you that I’m not good at holding back, I do however have quite good control with my blade, so I shouldn’t hurt you. But due to my curse, if I say stop, we stop, and that doesn’t mean I concede, it means I don’t want to hurt you and I may not be able to stop myself if it goes on. I will naturally grant you the same option, and on my honor I won't use it as an excuse to avoid admitting defeat.” He paused for a moment. “That is if the storm doesn’t catch up to us first...”

Tanyeera suddenly remembered a question she'd been wanting to ask Aranai and approached her. "Err... excuse me. I'm sorry if I'm being rude or invasive, but might I ask... the fire you produce and that radiates the heat from your skin... what kind of fire is it? Magefire, natural fire, or something else?" she cocked her brow inquisitively, truly wanting to know the answer to the question. If it wasn't magefire, she might not get burned by it...
((Yep, check Tanyeera's profile, its true. She can't be hurt by most natural elements. Can get seriously distracted by 'em though.))

((Does anybody mind if I fast forward it a little bit -- just to get to the place we'll be camping, because nothing really all that interesting is going to happen untill we get out of the forest and near Kendica . . . Unless someone has something absolutely exciting that they're going to hit us with and they absolutely need to be in the forest . . . in that case, go ahead. Otherwise I'll just flip us all to evening.))

((No, no, it’s a personal character development thing, I don’t want to hold the rest of you up...
I got it, I can make it fit in traitors’ trail, we’ll probably be role-playing most of that anyways, I can work it in there!
Let’s move on for now...))

((Alright, do what you wish. I just need to have Isarelle clear things up with Aranai before we get past the Souls River because we are in a forest which is quite flammable and if she is going to transform into her fire-bird counterpart, we'll need a way to contain the flames. Please don't get bored with me, I'm doing the best I can to get this moving along. As soon as we're out of the forest [which shouldn't take long], we'll hit Kendica and Oakenshire waters. That's about where things will begin to get more exciting and the adventure will really start. Please just bear with me. Not a good way to end this but, I'm going to be gone on friday, saturday, and sunday -- out of state competition. I'll be back soon Please don't leave me sweatdrop ))

((Very well then we might as well do something...)) The area of the forest the party was passing through had become very overgrown, most of the plant life was trying to reclaim the path. On either side the trees and shrubs were incredibly thick and cast many shadows limiting the vision of the travelers. Suddenly Kayoe came to an abrupt stop, and looked around. “I’m going to scout ahead,” said the cursed half-elf. Before anyone could offer to come with him he ran farther along the path. It wasn’t long before the trees thinned out a bit and he came into a clearing. He stood in the middle of it for a moment and then drew his blade.
There was the clash of metal on metal, and as the two swords met, so did Kayoe’s eyes meet those of his attacker. The battle became a kind of dance, each move gracefully flowing into the next, the difference between offensive and defensive moves was practically indistinguishable. Both bodies moved with such an elegance, that the only explanation was that those flashes of silver had to simply be extensions of their body.
The aggressor was a female, with pointed ears sticking out of her light-golden hair. Her moon-pale skin seemed to almost glow with a non-existent light. The way she moved, held herself, and even existed seemed to give off a great love of life. And then it happened, a small break in the dance. The girl only seemed to be off by a faction of a beat, but it was all it took. Her sword, that had just a moment ago been a part of her, was a few feet away. And she was on the ground with the tip of Merinas’ sword against her neck. Kayoe looked down at her and gave a triumphant smile. “Well met, Zera.” ((I’m not going to exclude people, feel free to catch up to me at any time...))
