“One more time!” Shinji bellowed, feeling his body shake. He didn’t care if anyone could hear him, he was going to get this done. He pulled his hand out of the spring and slapped his hands together. He then felt his blood pressure drop and quickly plunged his hand back in. Now was not the time to get cocky. He prepped himself and readied his chakra.
Suddenly the blurred images seemed to focus. Shinji wasn't sure if it was his skill, or just his sheer determination, but it all seemed so much clearer now. "I can see them!" Shinji yelled excitedly, "They are all like...solid and stuff!" He turned around quickly, a feeling of excitement filling his body. Suddenly he became aware of how noisy he was being. He quickly bowed his head.

Ryu-o heard the boy reply and took a break form his concentration and said
"yeah that's it, i'm Ryu-o, are you from there too? i've never seen you, how old are you? are you an academy student?"
with that barrage of answers he had just given Shinji he went back to focusing on his training. He had started to get a grasp of how this signature thing worked, as he had felt the signatures come into focus and unfocus just like a butterfly, untraceable, without a pattern, and hard to concentrate on; he needed something, he needed a strategy, if he was going to catch these signatures then...
"hold it!"
At that moment Ryu-o conjured up an idea, he thought of the way he described it, he needed to catch the signatures, just as he would a wild animal that's in a panic. But he remembered that the way to catch a signature is not through trying to follow it all around chasing after it, but by waiting for the opportune moment to strike and grab it, when it is within sight and opportunity so he tried out his strategy. He focused on "catching" the signatures, waiting until the signature was within the range of focus that he had, and then closing in on them when he had them in most focus.

Ryu-o saw Shinji start to get competitive, so he quickly tried upped the ante by putting all his focus on "catching" the chakra signals and finishing. With his focus at maximum he tried to wait for the signatures to come into focus, waiting for the opportune moment, every now and again a signature would come into focus and he'd be able to focus on it having it only flicker in his mind, and every other time he'd try to get a clear sense of it only to have it slip away like quicksilver.
But he wasn't done yet, he tried to think of another way of making it work while he concentrated, trying to think of how to "trap the signatures into his field of focus.

Shinji walked over to Ryu-o who appeared to still be hard at work on his training. He sat down next to him and watched him for a moment. "Yeah, I decided to come through after my mother...well...for a new start I suppose. I'm actually 12 years old, if you'd believe it. My mum always used to say I had a baby face." Shinji stopped himself suddenly. Why did he have to mention his mother so much. "Yeah, I just started training at the academy. I'm still getting to grips with all of this new stuff...but I think it'll come to me in time."

"urgh, this isn't working"
Said Ryu-o after his strategy had failed to work; "what would be better" he thought. Trying to think of another way to get these signatures he tried to think of how an animal is captured, well there's the chase, the wait, and... But he remembered that a monkey will only eat the red berries if he sees another monkey do it first, so maybe the signature could be lured or...attracted. He tried to feel his own chakra and try to bestow that same feeling with a different chakra upon himself; thinking that maybe if he get's a solid feel of it first he might be able to identify better with another's own chakra, so he first tried to feel the chakra around himself, trying to see what type of sense it gave him, seeing the chakra, feeling the chakra; so he tried to identify this feeling with something outside of himself.

Taking a momentary break, Ryu-o focused on Shinji who had completed his training; he thought a quick recharge would be good for him.
"jaja that's cool, i'm 9, i don't really know what anybody thinks of me but i think they always think that i think that i'm more mature than i really am, oh well maybe they're right, but it doesn't matter, stranger's opinions have never really mattered to me, well i should get back if i want to finish in time for lunch hehe"
Ryu-o stopped talking and went back to focusing on his training, he tried yet again to get a clear sense of the signatures, he'd made progress in the beginning, but it came to a crawl as he struggled to hit the nail on the head; he was hitting the thumb rather than the nail. Now that he'd gotten a bit of a feel to it he tried clearing his head of any strategies and only focusing on the signatures themselves, hoping that this would prove a fruitful for Ryu-o.

Ryu-o was starting to get s bit frustrated with this, he was making very little progress and it had almost leveled out, he tried to focus on the chakra signatures again, this time by focusing on only two.
"ok let's see, i'll try to focus on Shinji's and the female ninja, that oughta do it"
So Ryu-o closed his eyes tried to focus again. He started to think about how he sucked at chakra control, and how training his chakra control would be imperative if he were to become a proper shinobi, but he tried not to let himself get too sorry about his lack of chakra control since he had other good qualiies; he focused back on the signatures and noticed a change in the way he caught their sense.
The signatures would now flicker into sense and out of it, they seemed to be doing it at a more constant and rapid rate, that meant that he was making progress; this cheered him up a bit and kept him from unnerving himself, so he focused again trying to feel the signatures which he had come to partially understand.

"wow, that's what they look like?"
In a flash of opportunity, Ryu-o had finally caught the somplete sense of the sigatures, seeing both their signatures, Ryu-o was amazed at what they looked like; he thought they looked as if their chakra ensconced them in a mist of blue that flowed throughout their body. He knew this would come in handy when on a mission that involved tracking people, and he was fairly decent at that already.
"man this is cool, i didn't know that chakra was so vivid and intense, it's like you guys are emanating energy, i've never experienced this before, Shinji this is so cool do you see this? jaja"
Ryu-o felt a sense of accomplishment, he was finally on his way to becoming a true ninja, he just needed to work hard and follow the female ninja's orders, and he'd be just fine. Come to think of it, he still didn't know her name, so he decided to ask.
"uhh by the way i never asked you your name, and what's your rank? are you gonna be our new sensei?"

Nakamura couldn't remember the difficulty that came with trying to discover chakra for the first time. It was such a long time ago for her, but she felt that silence was necessary. Even when the boys conversed with one another, she continued to watch them in silence. As if to follow through with their traning, Nakamura focused her own chakra, watching it through her mind's eye. At least, she tried to, but once they both seemed to have finished their training, she was confronted with questions.
"Well, to answer your question Ryu-o..." she paused, realizing that he introduced himself to Shinji; but she knew all of her shinobi by name. "My name is Nakamura... and my rank has many names. In Yukigakure... before it was rebuilt as Aisugakure, I was known as Lady Aisukage. Here, I'm known as Lady Takikage." she said with a slight dip of her head. It wasn't like she cared for titles, but he did ask if she would be their sensei. At the time, it was going to be difficult for her and it would put a hinderance on her search for the other Fifth Dawn Members. She could always get one of her companions to watch over them in her absence should she need to go somewhere...
"I'll see what I can do about your training, but for now, you're free to go about the village. In the Village, we have our study. If you'd like to do training on your own, the best place would be the Forest Marsh. Hyousetsu has assured me that it's safe and will be guarding the perimeters. I'll summon you both when your next training session will begin." Nakamura said before turning on her heels. She was readying herself to depart, but waited a few moments to see if either of them had any questions before she went to her Chambers within the Caverns.
Thinking for a moment, Nakamura continued to walk towards the Caverns. She already told them she would summon them when it was time for a group training session. Silently, she took her leave.

Upon hearing this news Ryu-o's eyes widened with amazement at who he was looking at; he was looking was the Takikage, the head honcho, the big cheese, the big boss, the head man, so to speak, the top banana, the main breadwinner. He didn't really know how to treat someone of great rank so he just continued with his questions.
"soooo, can i train anything i want? can i buy a sword? wait i need money, where can i get money? should i learn basic academy lvl jutsu's for now? can i start throwing shuriken? where can i get them? can me and Shinji spar? can we train together?
Ryu-o had many questions so he decided to just let them all out at once hoping the most important ones would be answered, where to get money, and can he train anything.

Shinji stood watching Ryu-o belting out question after question. His new chakra perception had left him a little light headed. Suddenly he heard Ryu-o ask if he could spar with Shinji.
"Woah, woah!" Shinji said quickly, raising an arm "What does he mean spar, he's not going to start throwing stuff at me is he?" Shinji eyed Ryu-o nervously, he had the look of somebody unpredictable and hyperactive. There's definitely a look for that and that's definitely it!

Ryu-o was too excited about his beginnings into a life he'd always awaited to think about how Shinji could've reacted to him, so he cleared things up with him.
"oh no jajaja, i don't mean fight as in a scrap, i just mean sparring, you know, just a 1-1 match to train ourselves. It's in no way violent, i mean of course we will like, fight and all but we won't be trying to hurt each other for the wrong reason it's just...training, understand what i'm talkin about?"
Ryu-o hoped that Shinji would agree to be his sparring partner since he didn't really know anyone with whom he could spar.

Shinji nodded slowly. He still wasn't sure what sparring was, isn't that somewhere you go to get a backrub?. "Maybe one day we will battle. I think at the moment we're both still quite inexperienced though, we'd probably end up hurting eachother." He gave a loud audible yawn and rubbed his stomach. Perhaps it was time for him to head home and relax.
Shinji gave Ryu-O a nod and walked away from the spring.

Yu-o had a perplexed look on his face, what had Shinji thought that he meant by sparring? it's only essential training that every ninja has to go through so what was he thinking?
"oh well, i'll get him another time"
Ryu-o was a bit tired as well so he decided to go follow Shinji and see what he was doing.
"well then Nakamura-sensei, i bid you farewell, hopefully i'll get to learn more from you in the future"
And with that Ryu-o jogged off, as he went to follow Shinji he thought about what his future would look like now, would he grow up to be a good ninja? would he even make it to be a chuunin? what if he made it to jounin? could he even have a chance at becoming a kage?
These types of questions poked at his mind for several minutes before he decided that it was best to focus more on the present so that he could fulfill any of those dreams. So Ryu-o went off to follow Shinji in hopes of getting to know him.

((Entrance from Kiri's Mizukage Office))
Nakamura's signature mist seemed to fuel in as her silhoutte is seen emerging from within. Even before she had left the sanctity of her jutsu, she could tell that something was amiss in the village. Whether or not she could tell what it was from within the mist was another story, but it was clear, all was not the same as she had left it. Once the mist had left her, Nakamura started her investigation with the Springs. Ayala, status report.
If you're wondering what is amiss, one of the boys, Felix, has gone missing. His chakra signature shouldn't be hard to detect. He's still in the village, but nothing to alarm yourself over. How was your trip to the Mist?
My trip was pathetic and almost a complete waste of time. Takasugi seems to have taken on a candid role now that the threats of the world are gone. As far as Felix is concerned, can you pin-point his location?
From what I can tell, he's awaiting near the Village. Though I wouldn't be concerned, it's not like he'd run off somewhere.
Thank you Ayala. If that's the case, then I will simply wait here in meditation. Nakamura blinked slowly, allowing herself to take in a calming breath. I'll simply let him come to me when he's ready. she thought, exhaling as she sat down beside the Spring. All she had to do was wait.
