" WHAT!? You waited until NOW to mention you hadn't finished maintenance on those systems!? " Angel exclaimed, as the Sundered Rose started a descent over Kashyyk. Unfortunately, no help was able to arrive in time, and the gunboat made a crash landing deep in the jungle. < Sorry, but that band of would-be pirates distracted me. I'd have said it then had I not needed to focus all my attention on making sure they didn't get any lucky shots in through our shields. > " When it rains, it pours... * sigh * Just get to repairs. I'll be outside waiting for a rancor or something to come. I'd face it myself than have ANOTHER problem with the ship. " Angel exited her ship and looked around. The only life in sight was the trees and other plantlife. " Hmm, maybe this won't be so bad now. Oh Sith, I just jinxed it... "

The Two corellians in the bar watched in awe as the drifter soundly beat the Mandalorian. "Woah..." Veira muttered. "He actually beat him..." "Yeah..." Dack murmered in amazement. "Crap, and I just beaned him with a bevrage can and threw him out of the Bar..." She added with a tinge of worry. "But he's a good guy sis." Dack said. "He didnt cheat or nothing that whole time, not like that mando." Veira glanced down at her brother and sighed. The kid lived in too many of the stories and holos he was so fascinated with. White was white, black was black, and there wasnt any grey. "Must be fun being so innocent." she said as she looked back out the window. "Huh?" "Nothing." Veira watched the man dispose of his opponent and set off. at that moment, an idea struck. She gave a devious smile. "Man the fort Dack, I'm gonna go hire a bouncer." She said as she grabbed her jacket.

The night air was cool and refreshing, a welcome change from the heat of the day. Link took a contented breath and tugged his jacket around him with a yawn as he continued walking for the bridge. "Oh Drifter..." A sultry voice came from behind him. "Hm?" Link turned around to see Veira Corran standing there clad in an old spacer's jacket with the zipperpulled low enough to expose some cleavage. "I saw what you did to that Mando outside the bar, and I have to say I was very impressed." She said as she slowly sauntered towards him. Link watched her with a partialy baffled expression as the woman walked towards him. "I really feel bad about how I treated you before, so I want to make it up to you. Why not come back with me to the Bar?" She said, giving the man a smile only a corellian could manage, the type of smile that would seduce most normal members of the male gender. Link blinked. "You're not drunk are you?" He asked. He noted the woman had to force down a snarl to maintain her attempt at seducing him. "My poor brother and I are all alone, with no one to protect us from Gordo's thugs," She said in a not-so-innocent tone. "I would really appreciate it if a big strong man like you were around to protect us from him..." Link stared at the woman, then averted his gaze and sighed. She sure is pouring on the act. Must not get distracted .She is right, however. The situation is not yet resolved. the Hutt would come back and finish it in a most brutal manner. And this one can not allow that to happen. Plus, an actual roof over his head would be nice. Link turne back to her an gave a sunny smile. "Very well Miss. The Traveler will gladly come back with you to protect you, your brother, and the bar until this situation is resolved." She was taken aback by his response. Perhaps for her, normally an act like that would make most guys into drooling morons at her beck and call. She coughe uncertainly and zipped her jacket up. "Um... ok then, this way..."

"Hey, like slow down!" Fryea yelped to an excitable wookie. *My apologies, Miss Starsinger.* said the wookie. *Some scouts south of here, by several kilometers, have reported a crashed starship. They're checking for injuries, and attempting to ascertain the personage aboard,* "Like, mega-thanks!" Freya chirped to the wookie. "Gorry! Did you totally hear that?" She then leaned over to the wookie. "Whoever it is may totally be in danger. We have to like, totally help them! Plus, it might totally get us mega-bonus points with the chief!"

"[Alright.]" Gorwooken said, getting up, and waving his cred stick over a port in the table to pay for their meal. "[We're going to our ship first though.]" He said to the other wookiee "[To get our droid, and then you can be our guide. Come on, Freya.]" Having said this, Gorwooken began the short trip towards the Aldera Ballet.

An hour later, Freya, Gorwooken, Rusty, and their wookie guide arrived at the site described. "Like, I totally haven't seen one of those, save for history holos!" Freya exclaimed, upon seeing the wrecked gunboat. "It seems to be in fair condition, save for it's obvious predicament," Rusty chimed in. "It seems familiar, but I cannot place it,"

Looking to the side of the gunboat, Gorwooken saw a woman that looked vaguely familiar to him for some reason. mayhap he'd met one of her parents before. Jogging up to her, he asked "[Are you alright?]"

Quote: "I understand," Iria said. Glancing back at the man, she queried, "Did Lord Fel somehow forsee this?" Shaking her head, she then continued. "Sir Werda, I have one thing to do before we go: My host lived on Corellia. Said to be a Jedi Master of no small accomplishment, her holocron is there. Lord Fel wished me to have it. Mayhaps we can glean some wisdom from it?" Kal looked at her, keeping his other senses alert. " Thats nothing for you to worry about now. We need to get you to safety." He cocked his head slightly at her suggestion. "This is no time to depend upon the dead for anything. You are not your clonehost, Page. Remember that. You are your own. Corellia is far to militant a place. The Empire is strong there. we need a less obvious place to hide. And I think Chandrila will do nicely."Quote: A thought came to Iria. "Sir Werda. Sometimes, errant spacers are arrested by our fine forces. That said, do we not impound their vehicles? If so, we may be able to get offworld with one of those," Kal shook his head. "If this were an outer rim port town we could attempt to pull it off. But in the heart of the galaxy, impoundment facilities are very well guarded. we're better off sneaking out under Imperial noses, and the best way to do that is to book third rate passage on an outbound comercial freighter."((sorry about the wait. been busy.))

((Acclamater Mark II's aren't new. They came out in the last years of the Clone wars. You'd have to do Mark III's to be "new"... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Acclamator_II-class_assault_ship ))
Ferno had made the jump; now he had only one thing left to do, and that was eliminate his target. He met at tattooine, and made the rendezvous. Apparently, Talon was fully aware of the situation. However, she relayed a message which made Ferno slightly... agitated.
Krayt had sent a message to Talon, almost identical to that of Ferno's. Except he was on guard duty. Without giving a response, he made the jump to Naboo, leaving Talon behind.
~~
The Palace of Theed held quite a history, but the rulers of this planet held little significance. Ferno had his eye on another target. Inside the guest chambers, a window was left open. Curtains fluttered as the wind blew slightly. Ferno moved silently, as a twi'lek moved closer to the wall, checking the grounds.
Quicker than lightning, the twi'lek female snapped around, hand reachign for her saber, though she was too late. Sudden gases flew up her nostrils, as a needle pierced her skin. The world went dark, as her tattooed eyes closed, leaving only her body on the ground.
Talon was neutralized.
Ferno moved closer, his rival now knocked out for several hours, and then made his way through the window. For such a force user, the feat was very simple. Sleeping, his target didn't notice his arrival, but the flutter of curtains rouse him from his sleep.
"Who's there?" He asked in a strong bravado. Nothing answered. Scanning the room, he saw nothing. "Was just the wind," he muttered, as he got up to close the window. Locking it shut, he crawled back into bed, covering up and sighing.
Only something was different. Above him, red eyes glowed, as the spectre descended onto the man, clasping his mouth shut as he tried to scream. Ferno took off his mask, as two thin tentdrils came out of his face. A needle stabbed into the man's arm, as Ferno could now release his grip on the target. He could barely speak.
"You're... An..." Was all the man could say, before he was slowly killed. Ferno's species could do such destruction. Devouring the liquid which his species feasted upon, not a single mark could be found. It was as if he died in his sleep. By morning, imperial doctors would take the body away, and quietly pass the news on and begin propaganda.
Leaving the palace was as easy as getting in. Ferno even picked up Talon and dropped her off in the jungle, before taking off. News of a development on his newest machine and weapon had come in from Felucia. But that had little impact on Ferno.
Veron Starsinger IV was dead. The Administrator of Cloud City had been murdered.

(( Now, how to let Freya know her old man's kicked the bucket ... ^^;; ))
A pair of jets came from the sides of Rusty's leg modules, enabling him to "jump" to the scene, as Freya scampered there, with the wookie scout in tow. "Like, are you totally all right?" Freya queried. Landing beside her, Rusty had some comments of his own. "She seems oddly familiar. And, I do believe I have heard this craft being spoken to me in passing. Alas, any knowledge I may have of this ship, or anyone whom may be associated with it, is second hand," "Like, Grandma Z?" Freya queried. "No," Rusty replied. "I fear we only knew of the Ferons second-hand, via Master Brunhildt,"
(( DA: Come to think of it, would Angel and Freya's ancestors have crossed paths at some point, by way of a certain Jedi Master we both know and love? ^^ ))

((Kashyyyk isn't exactly a center for news. But offworld, it's probably not exactly a secret to the public media of the passing of cloud city's administrator. Though with imperials handling the case, details are not entirely public. So you'd have to pick up details by rumor.))
Ferno's ship exited hyperspace several hours later, over the planet Borlias, otherwise known as Blackmoon. Once an Imperial Facility taken over by the rebels, it had fallen into imperial hands once again. While the original building stood up and running, once again with alderaani plants and cures, Ferno had access to another building on the far side of the planet. A lower keyed operation, hidden from the normal public view, the operation was run soley by the sith, built several years ago to begin work on the projects Ferno wished to begin. Originally, Krayt had not trusted the spectre to be so useful, and wished to have a facility of his own to find medical treatments and cures to his aging body and ailments, but recent events had given Ferno enough authority to move the medical facilities to Gobindi, where it would go unnoticed, and granted him a secret facility much closer to the core worlds. While this meant production had to halt on his end for months, the medical facilities on Gobindi could work almost 25% faster, giving him enough leverage to authorize the transfer.
While Ferno was not readily known to the outside world, the scientists and soldiers at the Blackmoon Facility, known as the Voicebox, knew the sith quite well. His assassin droid put harsh demands upon the scientists. They rarely found themselves punished, however, since most lapses in efficiency happened in the soldier ranks.
Today was no different. The captain which was supposed to greet Ferno had not even detected the sith on his sensors, and failed to assemble a proper welcoming. Ferno had long since demanded this as proof their sensors worked and they could tell when anyone was coming. This lack of defense, however, proved an error. One which the facility could not tolerate.
A quick promotion occurred, over the corpse of the former commander of the facility. Buisness had to be done.
"We have made a breakthrough. The narcotic on Felucia we have engineered to be latent in the bloodstream until the admission of delta waves. With the introduction of the waves, the projects have found mental disturbances in the deepest frequencies, which have literally made the test subjects fully incompacitated. We have tested it on several animals, and common side effects are paranoia, fear, and submission. However, the project has several problems at this stage. The Delta waves require large amounts of energy for a widescale effect, and the drugs are almost too responsive to the waves. Only for several moments after the waves are shut down do the experiments return to normal. However, we need to test it on sentinents here pretty soon. We have a handheld device, which works on our basic principals. It will only work at close range. Until we can amplify the signal and create a stronger dosage, we are forced to only do one target at a time." His new captain reported.
Ferno was not displeased with the progress of the weapon however. Krayt wanted total control, to create total unity. Currently, his dictatorship was not fully secure, and unity had not been reached. With this weapon, Ferno believed that it would be a temporary solution to the problem, and an easy way to set up the stage for a stronger Sith empire. But in its infant stages, Ferno was forced to wait until the setbacks produced results.
For the time being, the small device and narcotics would prove effective in securing his own spot amongst the sith, hopefully into the title of the Lord of Terror...

(( @CW: I suppose if you want, Damon could have made friends here and there that just so happen to have descendants that relate to one another through old family friendships or so. ))
Angel was meditating to pass the time while R1 worked on fixing the ship. While it may be impressive to see an old gunboat still in use, despite it being a currently wrecked one, the Sundered Rose was always up to date with systems and power. Those who knew of the vessel may consider it infamous as a long-running " top rate " fighter. As Angel was approached, she herself payed no heed at 1st. R1 noticed and took to his guardian protocol. Shortly after being greeted, she came out of her semi-trance and turned to face the ship. " That won't be needed. " R1's weapons slid back into their secret hatches and R1 rolled back inside to resume his work. " Loyal droid. Thought I wasn't aware of possible danger. Pay him no mind. As for your question, I'm fine. I'm just waiting for R1 to finish system repairs. " She looked around to see who all was around, then noticed the droid's comment. " What do you know of the Ferons? "

Immediately suspiscious, Gorwooken took his Vibro-Axe out of it's holder discreetly. "[Why do you ask?]" He asked calmly, waiting to see if she would turn out a friend or a foe.
