Taki slid down his chest and hit the stone floor with a thump.

"She did well to hold out this long. How much did she drink?"

Travis dissapeared and stayed gone. it was the same trick Vain just used, but without any words. From behind came the words. "Congratulations, you produced a passable varient of one of the simplest techniques in every Terren's arsenal. I've been a master at your newly discovered power since I was a youngling."
Travis appeared in front of him. "And ruin my stalling tactic? nonsence." He thrust the quarterstaff at Vain with his right hand. It wasn't a hard thrust, it was meant to goad the elemental into action.

Travis' smile never left as he ported to the side ant struck at Vain while he was comited to the attack. He swung hard to the stomach.

Vain: Umph... Not bad...

::I regained my stance and windmill kicked him followed by a ground sweep and finished with a dragging uppercut::

Travis was grazed by the kick. He was so in thought of how to counter, he almoast had his legs taken out from under him. His eyes widened as he saw the knuckle drag and pulled back enough to avoid getting his head taken off from the punch. He landed on his feet and went to a knee. He looked to the ground and rubbed his jaw.

Travis laughed a dark and menacing laugh. "No, not any doubts of that nature. I just doubted you had any skill at all." He stood tall and twirled Jiba faster and faster. "Now I'm ready to take you seriously."
