Zoe nodded. "Yes, I guess that's true." She then felt she had to leave. She wasn't sure just why. It was an odd sensation. "I'm sorry but I must be off. Nice meeting and talking with you." With that Zoe ran off for her home holding her guitar. Once there she grew to adult.
Hula Bob's eyes gleamed as he watched the Naiad not sure what to say. "Ah, dude no one should be in a rush to grow. Trust me. Anyway, want a surf lesson now?" After all this is what Hula Bob was there for.
Hula bob waved to Zoe watching her go.

His moved away from the emeralds when she left and he felt like he just snapped out of trance "Huh, where was I, wait where did she go?" He remembered back and remembered hearing a few words from her then everything just went silent around, only the vision of the emeralds was all he could remember after that Maybe it's not me who holding the power, but them who is controlling me with power? He sighed and sat down on the beach as he lowered his head "Well at least I never ran away from her"
"I guess that's true, but still I could finally learn all the answers I've have been searching for, isn't that how most childish problems are solved, by becoming mature?" He looked at the flat surface of the board and then his necklace As long as I don't feel I have I have a tail it will keep my legs even when wet, I guess it's worth a test? "Alright, I will try to test out this activity called surfing"

Hula Bob smiled. "Awesome!" Hula Bob got up and got out one of the smaller surf boards.
"Okay just watch me." He then got on his board and then rocked back and forth. "That's all it is to it really."

His wings wrapped around as he continued to sit silently, still wondering what was exactly was going on. All this time he wanted to search for the emeralds to find out why they were connected to him, but was it the emeralds that made want to search for them
"Hmm so it's sort of like swimming if you compare the movements, just without a tail?" He looked down at his feet and then back at his necklace, his finned ears twitching alittle "Okay, just hope my theory works, or I will be hanging one"

Hula Bob nodded. "Okay, now the shallow waters first. This way if you whip-out it wont' hurt as much." Hula Bob took his board and got on to show Des what he ment by that.

What am I suppose to do? He brought his legs up and and folded them behind his wings, his head laying on his knees as he sat there, still shivering at the thought of being controlled by these things, it seemed like they were the ones that were helping him, showing him something about this connection
"I'm sure the water won't hurt that bad, even if I fall it wills till be refreshing" He swam out also and used his tail to pedal forward, then shifting into legs as he sat on the board and waited

Hula Bob smiled. "That's ture but it is a bit more fun to get practice in first." At least in his mind. Hula Bob then took his board out to the water. "Alright, now just repeat what you have learned!" It was pretty easy.

Chaos got up slowly and looked at the water slowly, his eyes staring deeply into its depths as he stood there like a statue, thinking about what he should do now
"Yes I know, they just have to fight against my aquatic insticts" He sighed and got up on his legs, looking down at his board as he tried to figure out what to do next for this surfing thing "Alright, what's the next part?"

Hula Bob smiled. "It's just a shake of the hips. You have to get the water moving. It's a lake, so it's not the same as ocean surfing." He told the Naiad as he did what he taught.

"Yes I noticed that, the current isn't as strong as the ocean's out here" He took a few breaths then moved hislegs side to side along with his waist Just like swimming with a tail, only I need to have balance instead of water all around to keep me from falling

"It's even more of an adventure!" Hula Bob chuckled and began to so some of his more advanced moves. Which were very cool if you were watching. Mostly because he did it himself without much wave or currents.

"Yes, but what's the action that makes it a thrill, maybe I'm not doing this right?" He looked down at his board and tried to figure out how to make it move without anything pushing it forward. He stepped back a bit, but felt his weight shift on the board and ended up falling backwards as his board glided across the water, catching up to it quickly with his tail pushing him forward and his hands catching the tip "Well that wasn't what I had in mind for making it move forward"

Hula Bob just smiled. "You either have it or you don't." He could only teach it so far. There was still a bit of talent involved. Which, he had in spades. Bob even did a nice flip, which he used his wings to help with.

"Then I guess I don't have it" He looked down and dipped his toes into the water, this time they stayed as legs even when wet "But i guess it's hard to have brains and brawn, expecially since sports and knowledge don't mix too well" He sighed and brought his feet back on the board, the cool temptation of the water made him feel relaxed until it was dry again

((btw if you didn't see Des grew.))
Hula Bob shook his head. "I'm not dumb. Besides, some times talent is just something you are born with. You just might not have a surfing talent." He told Des. He couldnt' think of anything better.
