Hello, I am emeralddarkness (duh) but my friends call me emmie and I am here to announce that I AM OBSESSED WITH PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I caught it from my aunt, who is obsessed to the point of it actually being scary. She saw the movie in the theaters at full price 8 times, last time I checked, had spent what seemed like hours googling on every piece of info that she could find, has read the book and can give you the info on any actor you want.
No, I don't have it quite that bad (yet) but I have seen the movie 5 times and am currently driving my family insane by never, ever stopping with some version of the music--be it sung or hummed.
I have to go now, but I will be back soon.

Okay I'm the Rogued girl mentioned by the bold letters, above my avatar... I'm also known as Rikku Ree! biggrin I'm a huge phan of the Phantom of the Opera but dare say, I've only seen the 2004 movie (planning on getting the books soon) sweatdrop

I'm Paige and I've been obsessed with PotO ever since I saw the movie (yes only the movie sad ) I would adore seeing it on Broadway if I ever get the chance. I saw the movie 3 times in theatres and wanted to see it way more than that but being a poor college student I didn't have the money. Well I guess thats all...

Hello! The names Charlyn and Im (currently two months shy of being) 19. I fell in love with the Phantom of the Opera when my mother and a friend of the family took me to see the broadway musical some odd 11 years ago. Since then I've listened to the music, seen the movie and have recently aquired both copies of the soundtracks... original and extended. The phantom of the opera is a story that I can relate to my life. Reason for this is because music is as much a part of my life as is breathing. I am a musician at heart, which would explain the undeniable connection to the phantom of the opera.
On a side note.. if you have not read the original novel, I recommend that you do.

I'm Ash. ^_^ I'll answer to everything but Phyllis though... so meh...
I was refered by my own Phantom (hmm more of a phantom and raoul combined) Erik_the_phantom. I'm of the 20's, early... and I'm told I'm quite adorable... thats still to be debated... mostly by myself. I drive my family nuts with it, so adding the newset dvd to my collection was only the next step... well that and joining here.

I'm Carolyn, and I listened to poto sice I can remember. I say the stage show once and I'm going to see it again in june!!! xp Me and my friends are obsessed and in every talent show we do something related to poto. And we all hate Raoul, so I am happy this guild it here!! whee

Um... hi. I'm new. And I haven't been to Gaia for a while, I'm getting obsessed with it all over again hehe
My name's Nat, I'm from Toronto and I'm a fresh new phantom fan. I'm actually one of those who haven't seen the stage version and though I regret it (and hope that someday I'll get the chance to see it in some form), I do love the movie.
And with my obsessive personality, I can go very far. biggrin Right now, I'm planning a mini-model of the chandelier made out of small metal hoops and Swarowski crystal beads. I think I'll fail miserably but I'll try!
So yeah, that's my long introduction. sweatdrop

Hiya! I'm Cloth Roses, but I will answer to most anything.
I've always loved Andrew Lloyd Webber, and enjoyed POTO since I can remember, which isn't more than six years. ^^;;;
Anyway, saw the movie, drooled over the Phantom, read the book, drooled some more and claimed 'I want a punjab for my birthday!'
Then discovered the guild and went, 'Ooh, shiny Phantom phans, must join.'
I swear I am not a newb on Gaia, I just act childish and stupid.

lo. 3nodding I'm Caitlin! I love The Phantom of the Opera dearly... my best friend Erin hooked me by giving me a burned soundtrack, and I've been obsessed ever since! I love the new movie... Erik is my favorite character, and I've been known to annoy friends and family by spewing Phantom quotes and singing the songs errywhere i go. I have yet to read the book (I'm trying to locate a copy at local bookstores, but so far, no luck), and i really, really want to see the Musical.

Hello all,
My name is Kristy, i'm 16 years old, On Sept. 19. Man, I love saying that age. 16, 16....ANYWAY, I have loved the Phantom of the Opera, first, when I was maybe seven, and I read the book. I know, you're thinking, 'Seven, I don't think so.' Actually, I think it was earlier. I was an avid reader as a child, and still am. I have bouts of obsession. Like, when I was seven, i read up on everything Phantom. When I was thirteen, I heard the Music from somewhere, and that carried me for a year. Then at fourteen, A play at some highschool put on bits from the Phantom. So, i re-downloaded everything, re-read the book, and tried to do 'Phan Art' Not that it turned out well, but I tried. Then the movie came out. Fabulous. I've been a horror to my friends, and one in particular. Not that she minds of course, she and I quote the movie together, and sing lines, and spontaneously think the same parts. It's awsome. So here I am, my obsession, once again cycling around, and I do not think I will rid it, just....somewhat stifle it, letting it reappear when I am most afraid (comfort from the familliar and what not) or most romantic. (I mean, there is a bunch of romance in it!) And that is me.

hmm well, where to start. i seen the movie 3 times in the theater and 5 times on DVD, well 5 1/2 ((watching it right now)) and i seen broadway 1 time...
I'm 18, born on December 2, 1986. i can play piano and a few Phantom songs. i'm also an artist. hmm... *thinking of more random things to say* i'm left handed and I like cookies
