She was too happy for the couple to notice Cayimmi's movements. His voice, though, broke her thoughts. Looking over to him, she nodded. "Much better, thank you, Cayimmi." Venya looked back at the King and his new queen sighing gnetly. "They do make a lovely pairing..." She smiled gently, her tail gently twitching. "I wish happiness, good luck, and wealth for them." Her flakes gave a gentle wave as she licked her paws gingerly.

Mandolin smiled happy for his king and queen. "They are sure to be wonderful. Congradulations." His eyes truely happy for them. "I guess we shall have to get some good game to feed everyone."

All of a sudden Tequila's stomach burst out into a rumble she hadn't eaten since this morning, then she didn't realize she was eating for more then one. It had just started to show on her, most likely because she was pretty close. She was a usually physically fit girl, but now it was a whole new story. She blushed slightly as her stomach burst out into song it seemed.
"Excuse me. I'd feel quite horrible not helping you get food Mandolin, however I don't think thats quite appropriate for my position at the moment." she smiled warmly, she could smell the scent of a gazelle herd close by. The zebra herd was probably in a farther grazing distance. Gazelle was their best bet for a quick catch most likely.

Niobe nuzzled Fae as she neared, she glanced to Cayimmi with a soft smile. He was just darling, she couldnt wait to see him as an adult, he held a special place with her. "Fae, stay here with Venya and Cayimmi alright? I have to go help with the hunt.." She nuzzled the cubs soft furred tummy as she lifted her frame to her paws and turned her face towards Kila. "No, pregant lionesses should not hunt, its a strain on the cubs. Though once your done, it would be nice to have you back on the team." Niobe nudged her nose against Kila's cheek, she couldnt help explain her duties as a Queen anymore than she could explain Benoni's it wasnt really duties, more of a family like feeling, you just had to go with your gut feelings and instincts.
With a stretch and a throaty yawn, she licked her muzzle and turned her bright lavender eyes on Mandolin and Ayana. " Should we go do this?" she said with a happy and pumped tone, maybe it was time for Mandolin to lead them..

He gazed moved to all the memeber of his pride, of his family. These cubs would only be a sign of their love for one another, an journy of their lives together. His eyes rested upon Ayana, with a sigh he continued to watch her, the comments of his mate caused a smile to tug at the corners of his muzzle as he turned to look at her, he grinned. "What, my professional is broken?! I must send out for a new one then.." he teased her with a flick of his tail, he watched Niobe with the cubs, he could feel the sense of her loss of her own. He shook his head for a moment, he hopped Ayana would be happy for them, he wanted to speak to her about being Den mother and aiding Kila when she need it. He hoped they would become friends, it would be good for them.
"I'd join you all, but someone has to stay here with a broken professional and the regal Cayimmi..." He grinned in a playful manner, the scent of Hyena's were thick in the air, hopefully they'd stay clear of the pride for the night.

Fae smiled meekly in Cayimmi's direction, becoming just a tad more assured as Niobe nuzzled her. Though she couldn't help the wave of dissapointment from rushing through her as she heard Niobe was to head off so soon, the kitten did a good job of hiding it behind her typical wall of anxiety. It wasn't so much of a surprise, really, and a silly thing to get worked up over. Back in the days before she'd truly gone downhill, it was a regular enough occurance for her mother. She nodded, accepting it just as simply as that. It wasn't as though Niobe wouldn't return.

Cayimmi smirked as he heard Niobe, nodding to Fae. "Don't worry, Lady Fae. Lady Niobe will be back soon, and with them a great dinner! She's really strong, so it'll go perfect." he said, trying to reassure the kit. The 'Niobe to the rescue' scene was still very treasured in a corner of the young lion's memory, after all...
He couldn't avoid but grunt though when Benoni spoke. Dang, he heard it... the purple cub thought, huffing. "I'm just staying for the safety of the ladies, as they might need protection tonight..."

Ayana smiled, "Congradulations to the both of you" She nodded and head and stood. "Now, would you like Mandolin and I to hunt for the rest of the pride members?" She flicked her tail, looking to Benoni with a smile. It wasn't a lie. She was quite happy for them.

Fae couldn't help but offer Cayimmi a thankful (albiet tiny as always) smile. It wasn't as though she didn't trust Niobe's strength. But a little reassurance tended to do wonders for the anxious kitten. The tiniest remnants of silent laughter danced in her dark eyes at the little exchange between Benoni and Cayimmi (naturally keeping her eyes downcast as though that would help better disguise it).
She sat down, in her typical manner of taking up as little space as possible, tail curled tightly around her. So now it would simply be a matter of waiting, she supposed.

Her eyes widened, "I'm not broken!" she brushed against him. "I'm just on vacation." she stuck her tounge out at him playfully. Her azure orbs peered at the other lions as her ears flickered.

The cub gently chuckled. She was about to say something when a massive pain swept over her. Clutching her paws to her head, she winced slightly as the images flashed through her mind. The events of the hunt flashed before her open and clouded eyes. Snapping back to reality, she panted softly. Stepping shakily over to Niobe, she gave a small mew. "Lady Niobe..." Venya cleared her throat gently. "I'm not totally sure how accurate this is, but...I thought I should let you know. Theives are out..more than usual tonight. Especially the laughing ones making the fleet footers very wary. The striped hoofed ones have moved for this reason...I suggest you try and act fast after you have taken down a kill. I'm not sure if you'll be able to keep it..." She shrugged gently giving them a bow. "Please be safe and good luck." Venya really did wish them to be successful on this night.

Niobe glanced down to Venya, she took the cubs word in and nodded her head. "Well then we must hurry, shouldnt we.." She lifted her head from her down-ward gaze and turned towards Benoni, even to her the scent of Hyena's was thick in the air. Her flakes quivered faintly, they could be dangerous in large numbers, her eyes moved to Fae and rested there. She'd be back, and protect her from those...dogs. With a snort, she turned her frame and began to head out for the hunt, let Mandolin and Ayana come if they wish...
This mood moved within her veins quickly, it was firey, almost as if she was angry or annoyed with something. She didnt know why this mood eat at her soul but it did. Maybe she was angry, but at what...then it hit her...today was the day...she shook her head. That was the past, she dug her claws into the earth as the scent of gazelle was heavy as well.
Crouching down within the tall grass, she spied an overly fat male, a bit old but extremely plump. He'd be able to feed the whole pride for a couple days. She waited to see if Ayana and Mandolin would join...

His eyes followed his sister for a moment, before they turned back to Cayimmi, the girls and Kila. He chuckled at her comment and arched a brow. " Sounds broken to me.." He continued to tease as he turned and nodded his head to Ayana " It seems Niobe is ahead of the game." He nodded his head once more, the thick scents of the hyena's caused his shackles to stand on gaurd. " Come..Into the den now." He padded forward, as he came up to Venya his head bent down and scooped her up into his jaws as he continued to walk forward, hoping the others would follow as well...His eyes glanced over to Kila's full and round sides, they'd be sleeping in the birthing den tonight...once everyone was back of course.

Cayimmi glanced to Benoni, sighing. He wasn't the least bit sleepy, so it was going to be boring to just stay inside... However, Benoni's tone didn't allow any room for arguing, and he couldn't just plain stay in the hyenas' sight alone... "Okay..." he grumbled, smashing a nearby twig with his purple paw out of sheer annoyance and following Benoni. Still, he remained nearby the entrance, still catching the fresh air from the outside and with a good view to the surroundings, like a sentinel.

Mandolin had followed Niobe and was got down low spotting the prey she had picked out. "Shall we do this as we did last time?" He asked softly. His eyes locked onto the beast as he started to manuver his body to find a place from the side to surprise the animal.
