Often overthinking and stressed due to it, Alex makes his own life difficult at times. He just worries, okay? Coming from a mother who needed his protection 24/7, Alex views those smaller than him as foxes that need his care. He doesn't think about himself often and finds it embarrassing when others concern themselves over him. He has a hard time properly socializing with those who require conversation, often considered dry. He's still a good guy, even if he lacks the friendliness others have.

Annabelle - 'Beauty'
Unlikely to do anything she doesn't want to, Annabelle can be selfish and cold. She needs a reason to converse or seek the company of others, often quick to abandon once she's reached her goal. She is direct, honest, and disinterested, making her a difficult fox to get along with. Annabelle doesn't tend to concern herself over how others behave or their intentions -- really, as long as you don't get in her way or attack her she doesn't mind you.
Annabelle has a loose moral code and doesn't really consider the weight of her actions. While she isn't impulsive she certainly could care less for consequences, as she's sure she can physically crush any problems that come her way.

Nephilim - 'A group of mysterious beings or people of unusually large size and strength who lived both before and after the Flood'
Nephilim finds amusement in toying with others like a game, often adopting different personalities and roles until she enacts her plan. She cares little for the lives of others, prioritizing her own wants and desires before anyone and anything else. Violent when provoked (and sometimes just because she's bored), Nephilim is not afraid to maim or murder a fox for the smallest of reasons.
She's yet to really find anyone she cares about in any way. While she plays the role of a lover often when she's after something, Nephilim has yet to truly befriend or love someone. She's vaguely interested in the experience, but she's yet to meet someone she doesn't want to torture in some fashion.

Soft and delicate, Marina is a whisper of a fox. She's gentle-hearted and welcomes everyone as they are, regardless of alignment or personality. She just wants to love everyone and cherish them as the unique fox they are. Marina is patient, unassuming, and compassionate, meeting others in the middle where she can and opening her arms towards strangers. She's forgiving when necessary, although she is protective of her mother and tribe.

He has a strong moral code and struggles to accept those who don't, often developing a grudge against those less pure-hearted than he. He's direct and kind, often eager to be open with others and make connections. Sora enjoys helping foxes in need and will drop everything to do so, although this can result in him procrastinating in important life matters.

Heroic and bright, Padma is often the first to leap to the defense of others, whether they need him or not. A good person, in all sense of the phrase, Padma wants to live his life as honestly and unapologetic as possible, staying true to his nature and ambitions no matter what may occur. He does not bend his morals for anyone, although this rigid morality could possibly cause turmoil if he is ever placed in a situation where the right thing might hurt another.

Eurydice - 'Wide justice'
Life hasn't always been kind to Eurydice, hardening her around the edges. She keeps a barrier between herself and others by using humor to distract from anything real someone might seek of her. She's wholely aware her appearance is monstrous to some, but she isn't self-conscious. She still avoids other foxes typically, although it's only due to a lack of energy for the usual comments or shrieks of alarm. While she's sarcastic and generally neutral towards those who approach her, Eurydice has a vicious tongue if she feels cornered or endangered. She also is not afraid to harm those who push her.
To those she grows close to she is protective and adoring, cherishing the small few who actually see her as a person.

Akihito - 'Lotus flower'
Curious and quick to retain information, Akihito enjoys learning and teaching others, especially about the stars. Akihito studies the stars and constellations and is happy to impart his knowledge to others. The night sky is comforting and easy to read for the fox -- he just wishes other people were the same. He can be overly polite and cautious around strangers, nervous to give the wrong impression or overstep unseen boundaries. He can be difficult to befriend at first, as his caution often stops him from fully indulging in pleasant conversation.
Those who manage to get close to the fox will find he's a polite, charming, and generous male, who might even rattle your ear off about the stars above.

Timid and flighty, Fawn often feels like she's in danger, jumping at any small sound and spooking easily. She's a bundle of nerves as if she was a literal deer itself. Fawn is also curious and often on the move, seeking something new to do or experience. She's a fairly friendly and loving fox (if you can convince her you aren't dangerous), although the soft-voiced vixen can have a fierce temper if she feels like her loved ones are bullied or threatened.

Aarya is a bold fox who makes her decisions on the fly. She doesn't really know what doubt is, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the situation. She expects respect and honesty at every turn, confronting those she feels forsake her of either. Aarya dislikes seeing others made uncomfortable and will happily insert herself in sticky situations if she feels someone is wronged, especially if they ask for help. Sharp-tongued and sarcastic, Aarya has been known to intimidate others easily. She doesn't quite get it, honestly, but she doesn't complain -- it keeps those of a less favorable nature far from her.

Cherubi is usually lost in a daydream, having an active and persistent imagination. She loves story-telling, eager to share the tales she creates if anyone shows interest. Soft and compassionate, Cherubi gives an airy appearance to others, and they're honestly not wrong. She also is found of the hares in Yasashii, often conversing with them as she visits and feeds them throughout the day.

Hyakkimaru - 'Little monster.'
Dedicated and loyal, Hyakki puts his all into his loved ones and tribe. He works hard but also finds room for intimate moments with the foxes he holds dear, often seeking connections when given the oppurtunity. He's a good soul with a viciously protective temper when it's called for. Able to make the hard decisions if it benefits his loved ones, Hyakkimaru will always prioritize others, finding bravery and compassion in his pursuit to understand others.
To his mate he is soft and romantic, often fawning over her whether she's around or not. It's best not to talk about mates with Hyakkimaru unless you're ready to talk for hours.

Hyakkimaru raised himself, although he found help in local animals. He had a rather lonely childhood, often dreaming of a future where he could be surrounded by friends. Once an adult he started traveling, working as a mercenary. Injured from a job, Hyakkimaru fled and eventually crashed into the Yasashii lands, fainting shortly after a white fox discovered him. Yasashii took him in, helping heal his injuries. Fascinated by what he perceived as an angel, Hyakkimaru began to ask around about the white figure, discovering it to be Nana. Hyakkimaru, once recovered, stayed with the Yasashii. During his duties he continuously went out of his way to see Nana, growing fond of her. The two spent many evenings together, with Nana listening mutely to Hyakkimaru's many stories. Seasons passed and Nana began to slowly rely on Hyakkimaru. Her first word is years was his name, uttered after a heartfelt confession from Hyakkimaru. Hyakkimaru and Nana lifemated!

Not much gets past Flurry! She's always ready and prepared for just about any situation, especially if it might affect her family. Rigid in her routine and life, Flurry doesn't give herself much slack, although she doesn't really want to. She likes keeping herself busy and becomes quickly irritated if someone tries to interrupt her current focus. Flurry puts her all in everything she attempts, often hyper-focusing in the process.
