Grid Name Illness Character Name: Akaris and Samodith Location: High Reaches Weyr Quote: You’re probably too sick to work, but you have no symptoms other than feeling like you’ve been tackled by a panicked herdbeast. If you’re a rider, it can be yourself or your dragon who’s feeling poorly. Nonriders, roll 1-3. Riders, roll 1-2.

Grid Name Candidate Character Name: Ilzerin Location: High Reaches Weyr Quote: You wind up having assigned chore duty with someone you absolutely despise. You do NOT like this Candidate at all and hate being around them for whatever reason. Unfortunately, you're stuck with them for at least a sevenday during chore rotation. How does the encounter go? Roll a D4 or plot it out with an NPC (or a PC if someone wants to offer their character!) to see how they get along.

Whether it's simply verbal or it comes to blows is up to you. Either way, you are now BOTH in serious trouble and need to report to the Candidatemaster Second (or Candidatemaster) and find out what your punishment is. Please quote/PM/DM the appropriate person to find out! (If it's a bad enough fight you could well lose your Candidacy, for story purposes.)

Grid Name Illness Character Name: Pavari & Gold Susurinth Location: Western Quote: 10. You wind up getting miserably ill. You have a high-fever that puts you well in the infirmary. If you're a dragonrider, your dragon is likely going to get very upset! If you've a weyrling, they're going to be in a miserable state of worry and distress! You don't know what you've got but it puts you out for a good two to three sevendays. Fever, chills, aches, pains; you have no appetite and likely wind up dropping some weight from the sickness. Any loved ones or family are likely quite worried.

Grid Name Fighting Dragon Threadfall Character Name: Jynnat/ Blue Begath Location: High Reaches Weyr
6. You've got a nasty new threadscore across your shoulder and arm. It's ugly and hurts like a b***h. You'll be needing to visit the healers for regular cleaning for at least two sevendays, and you can bet it's going to scar. It's going to take time for your body to recover. You'll be grounded at least a sevenday to avoid reopening the wound.

Grid Name Illness Character Name: M’ton/ Green Zygmuth Location: High Reaches Weyr 11. You wind up so sick you actually died. Sorry folks, you didn't make it, and now your family, friends, and loved ones are in mourning. If you're a rider, your dragon Betweens. Any flits you own also Between. If you've a wher, depending on the bond, it might die of grief, or re-bond to someone else in time. If you own a feline, it might die in grief, or re-bond to someone else in time, or go feral. If you're at a Weyr you'll be sent Between, if you're at a Hold or Hall you will likely be taken Between by the watch-dragon or another rider--nobody wants to risk Threadfall eating your bones, after all.
If you roll this and don't want your character to die of illness, then just note that they get terribly sick. It is touch and go, and they might need a month or more before they're genuinely back on their feet and feeling better.
