Ree cried out and clenched his teeth as he felt the bolt lodge deep in his thigh as he crashes to the ground and slammed up a telekinetic barrier trying to turn to see them before they tried to attack them again....only to see their retreating backs...what. Breathing heavily he pulled back as pain washed over him dulled by the adrenaline rushing through him as he grabbed the stone and stared around for any other enemies. Really... wth. Vina...damn it. Summoning his artifact he used it for the cat...this was an emergency. This time he bit into his arm and muffled a scream as the cat reappeared right by him. For once there was barely any disorientation but his soul hurt, worse than the bolt in his leg. (( Soul light:lvl 8 1 left)) The cat laid there right by him for quiet for a bit as Ree started to feel the pain but kept trying to push himself further away from the warehouse before he tried to heal. "Go" he gasped painfully before curling up for a few seconds crying softly as the cat, all black, staggered to its paws and took off after the one jumping along the roof tops, attempting to catch up and slam them with telekinesis --------------------- Sight teleport: 5 left Electric sense(artifact) multi tasking 2 mins Soul Light(artifact): Level 8: 1 left

The telekinetic blast was unexpected as it almost knocked the guard on the roof down. At this point, the two who had backed off from Ree, turned to shoot at the cat. Each taking fire at it. "Give it up. At this rate, all your friends will die. All we want is Vina." one of the guards spoke in a low voice, readying to fire again.
Vina appeared to be struggling in the guards arms but they had put a collar on her and she was trying to get free to no avail as she yelled at her kidnapper in anger as they continued for the estate.

The cat yowled in pain and dropped to the roof as its leg was hit, bleeding light where a good chunk was midding. They were ..determined..unnaturally so.. Huddling with pain its mind flashed to Ashral but was there and there was no indication they actually knew where they were..it could be a trap to lead them back. It likely was. Remembering Rina it narrow its eyes as it pushed down the pain as much as it could to sight teleported(( 4 left)) to the guard that had Vina, more like landing/crashing into the guards as it sent out healing energy, warping it to break what ever it encountered in the one that held Vina if it could. Sometimes he was jealous of or chaffed under's Tri's dedicated to keep them safe but right now he wasn't in the least bit jealous, seemingly lacking the skill himself. Ree grasp hold of one gun shakily as he held the stone with his other hand watching and waiting in all sense of the word pain. Grasping at the few things he still had to keep himself together. ----------- Sight teleport: 4 left Electric sense(artifact) multi tasking 1 mins cat: 38/50

The guard with Vina was running as fast as possible but hadn't anticipatated the attack of the cat as the blow hit the back of his neck and knocked him down, Gina hitting the roof hard and rolling from momentum. She desperately tried to break free of the rope just in time to fall off the roof and grab the edge, hanging there for a moment. Vina attempted to pull herself but had no strength and her torso and left arm were injured from the explosion on the roof. Cringing at the pain, she knew she couldn't hold on that long. "Dammit.." she cursed, looking down before just letting go and hitting the ground hard, a shooting pain through her ankle as she tried to get to a stand before the other guards realised she was free.
The two other guards continued on to the estate, not caring to come back for either of them for now.

The cat laid on the body of the guard just staring at Vina as she hanged form the edge of the roof. He was trying to gather enough will to get up and go to her maybe try to lift her or something before she fell. Its back paw was dripping light as it hobbled up onto its good three paws, wings flaring slightly for extra balance but it didn't do anything to stop the agony of here and there. It mrowed as Vina fell, moving a few steps before hearing the Magi's curse. Good she was alive, looking around it watched the other guards rush off to the estate, likely to get back up. Looking back at the guard it dropped it moved and tried to find and take the necklace if it had one, phasing it through before gliding down to Vina if it could. Ree shook before giving up and curling in on himself for a bit, knowing he needed to handle the bolt in his leg, afraid to do what Vina had done. Not even sure he would stay conscious for that pain and what he currently felt. Why did he think dodging into the arrow's path was a good idea? .....because he would have been trapped in the net. Pulling his wings in at the sudden cold he turned his head slightly to stare at the bold, blood already seeping through the pant leg.. if he passed out he couldn't heal... "Do something.... " he muttered to himself grabbing the end of the bolt and suddenly shoving it through his leg, biting down on his sleeve as he yelled in muffled pain and curled up to sob as quietly as he could, waiting for it to subside enough so he could push the rest through.

Vina barely had the strength to move as she was slowly making her way back around the building, trying to avoid any guards even if she couldn't see them. She had to get back to Ree. Clutching the bleeding wound in her side, she winced, it was a lot of blood. Damn, but she had to stop those other two guards before they warned Lena, if they hadn't already. Then there was Ree. No, that was more important right now. She turned the corner and saw that Ree was downed, curled up. Pushing past her own pain, she limped over to him and practically throwing herself down to the ground to sit next to him. "Str-.. Ree..." she was trying to find where he was hurt through curled feathered wings around his body. There was blood, that much she knew. "Where are you hurt, let me help."

"Where are you hurt, let me help."Ree gave a muffled gasp through his sobs and pulled his wing away trying to go for the gun only to see Vina, then double vision of the ground and back to Vina. "L-leg...arrow" he said pulling his other wings away but stared at her. "W-w-ait" he whispered out spotting the blood at her side and extended a wing. He was trying to touch her to send healing energy before she helped him, encase he passed out. Pulling his hand up he clenched the necklace again and just looked behind her. The cat limped its way back toward them, a dull greyish color instead of either black or white as it stared at the ground.

Vina was attentive to Ree as he pulled his wings away and told her where the injury was. She moved to try to help when he told her to wait and she hesitated. She watched him extending a wing to her and she put a hand against it, not sure what he was doing but figured he was trying to touch her.
The distraction of Vina talking to him had created a silence in the area, as the moment Ree focused on the crystal on the necklace, he could see an aura moving fast at them, too close to have caught it before it slammed into Vina, knocking her down causing her to skid quite a few feet.
The guard's mask looked like it shifted its expression to narrow it's eyes at Ree as it shoved a boot down onto his injured leg and pointed a gun at him and didn't even bother to warn him. This one didn't act like the others, it acted without a sense of protocols to follow. The guard aimed at his heart point blank, staring at him before looking over to see that Vina was still conscious and then back to Ree. The guard moved the nozzle of the gun to his shoulder and pulled the trigger then moved after Vina without another word. "The fact that you think you can escape me is laughable, Vina." a female voice echoed from beneath the mask.
Vina had choked back a sob when she was knocked to the ground, shaky breaths as she tried to stand. Igniting her hands, she tried to cauterize the wound on her stomach and used her injured hand to shoot unaimed fire blasts at the guard, making sure not to hit Ree. "Lena!" she shouted angrily as she wanted to charge her, but there was too much pain to even move forward.
Lena just laughed and knocked away the fire easily, prepared for such attacks as she drew a dagger, one similar to the one in the shrine that Ree had seen.

Ree started to shout a warning as he tried to grab at the gun again when the figure was already upon them. He was lifting his gun as the guard slammed into Vina, only to dropped it a moment later yelling in pain when they slammed their foot down on his leg. His throat went dry as he clenched his teeth together unable to stop the pained sounds he was making, not even realizing he was making it as he tried not to pass out from the pain. He tried to jerk to the side when the gun went off only to feel a fresh wash of pain that made his vision black for a moment as he gave a muffled scream. The cat turned the corner and crouched, its frame shivering as it took in the scene for a moment before its vision black out as well. Slowly it returned but barely as it breath in time with Ree. //Spirit....stay awake. We will be collared if you pass out...we will die. Ashral will die everyone else will as well. Stay awake // one half pleaded with the other as Ree blinked //i'm trying...// and took in a gasping breath trying to stay conscious as he let go of his intimidation to use the same technique to try and lessen the pain if by a little. Seeing double as he saw Lena from both angles. The the soot colored cat blinked pulling its own leg in as it watched, Lena...Vina...the knife. Rina...vampires. Staying crouched where it was it was licking its mouth and nose as it focus on the gun near Ree. Moving it quickly it lifted the gun muzzled up trying to aim at her upper chest/neck before focusing only on the trigger hoping it would fire and hit her somewhere important before it fell and clattered on the ground.

Lena had been keeping a careful eye it seemed as the moment the gunshot rang out, she ducked barely out of the way. She was far more aware and agile than any of the guards they had encountered before.
Vina took the chance to blast more fire at her, much more concentrated, pinpointed like an arrow.
Lena only laughed as she dodged her attack as well. She found it pathetic how hard they were trying to fight her to no avail. Darting up to Vina, she tripped her, choke slamming her to the ground. Vina choked out a cough as she grasped her wrists, trying to get her off of her.
"You thought that I wouldn't know? It's sad that you're life will end here in front of your friend." Lena spoke icily, the mask twisting into a grin as she held her down by the throat and pointed the gun to her head. "Say goodbye, little sister."
Vina's eyes widened in panic and hesitation. midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

Ree grimace trying to get past the pain to use telekinesis but his concentration kept failing him as any control kept falling through his fingers. He needed to heal but there was no time...he was barely keeping the pain at bay since it was something he rarely practices. Hearing's Lena's connection to Vida changed nothing in his view, she needed to go down. The cat could feel its body's pain but it was dull it was focused on Lena as her words snapped together two things that had bothered him. The lack of last name from Marq and the way Carmela's had moved to protect Vina during the attack. The thoughts flickered through its mind as it focused on Lena's head and attempted to twist her neck with his full power. If it went for the gun it would be fighting her strength with Vida below, either way was a risk.

Lena felt the pull of telekinesis around her neck and she growled. She knew what he was doing, but she swore she wouldn't fall pray to that. Lena turned to the cat, pulling a vial to make an escape when Vina used the moment to kick the vial from her hand away. Lena gasped in panic and tried to pull the gun on Vina once more.
But it was too late, the asphyxiation made her loose grip on the gun, and although it fired, it completely missed Vina. Lena's neck twisted and she cried out, trying to grab at her throat as her head twisted until it snapped and she collapsed on top of Vina.
Vina took in a shaky breath and muffled a panicked scream, the brush of death paired with the now dead body on top of her.
Taking a moment, she began to try to push the body off of her and attempt to get up to get to Ree. "Ree! Ree, are you okay?!" she called out in a hushed voice, even though the gunshots would have already alerted anyone in the area by that point.

Ree breathed shakily trying to keep focus on the tips of his toes, swallowing when Vina's voice called out. She was alive.. //dead// said the cold voice with only a hint of pain as it pushed up limping back toward them glancing around slowly for the spirit of more enemies even as it wanted to go back to staring at the ground. Wings drags alongside of it as it moved carefully. "Alive" he said painfully through clenched teeth, trying to keep his focus on the tip of his toes as tears rolled down his cheeks. Dead..Lena was dead but her guards... Slowly, as it kept slipping through his grasp, he sent healing toward his shoulder, unable to do much on his leg until the bolt was pulled. "Y-you?"The cat reached them and move to Lena's body as if to make sure.

Vina watched the cat approach and heard the sound of Ree's voice. Good, they were both alive. She shoved the body off of her and then took up the dagger, plunging it into Lena's hurt without a second thought. She had to be sure. She needed to make absolute she was dead.
Taking another shaky breath, she tried to stand but fell again. Everything hurt but she had to get to Ree. Crawling to him slowly, she sat next to him, leaned against the nearest wall to her as she took a deep breath. "She's dead... " she announced before looking at him. "I'm okay, do you need help? Tell me what I can do."

The cat jumped back, ears laid back staring wide eyed until it registered what she did and nodded slowly. After everything that had happen, who really knew if her spirit wouldn't flit back and get up. Ree breathed slowly, eyes flicking up at she moved to sit down by him then past her at the body on the ground. They had to move... The cat looked toward Ree as Ree frowned, neither was to sure what to do at this point, what took precedence. Hide, heal, return to the others without being spotted. Lena was dead it didn't mean anyone else knew...and if they found her like that. Damn it ..that might put a hunt on them. Moving at all sounded like agony at this point but they had to. The cat walked over and laid down by him taking over the healing then stopping as Ree clenched his teeth. Moving to Vina it laud down by her and started healing her instead. She would need less healing than he did. " After it........... finishes we need to move" he said slowly, hopeing he would feel more up to it after a bit more time... hah. " To ...much to hope... cremation?" hoping she understood what he was saying.
