"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"It was a stinging blow that he hadn't been able to take down the Lord of Flies on his first attempt; having raised his abilities as a summoner of the devils in this wasteland to a much more acceptable level, he'd hoped that he would be more of a match for the higher level Fiends that were out for his head. Trumpeter he hadn't gotten a chance to test himself against, so this was really his first challenge since the unfortunate encounter with Tala the day before...and while he had certainly not been pushed over by the incomparably powerful Fiend, in the end, his allies had been overcome and he was forced to make a temporary retreat. He caught his breath as he rounded a corner and then emerged out into a street deeper into Okina City proper, the first time he had been back this way since...why couldn't he recall it properly, again?...something about a Deva, Rise and Takaya...and an overzealous lunatic named Volcano...Vulcan? Rossi? It wasn't clear inside of his mind, but the streets were more familiar than they should have been given he couldn't recall a single full memory of having walked them. He was a good enough distance from Beelzebub to feel safe for the time being, but there were still plenty of demons that had overrun the city to deal with. If he could clear it out a bit more, he might gain enough experience to make his next encounter with Belzaboul a little more favorable.
"It's going to be hard to get close to him, but if I can strike first, I might be able to put him on the defensive instead of the other way around," he thought aloud, trying to think of a plan that would overwhelm his opponent as he finished mopping up a few lesser devils in the process, "He's got such strong magic, and instant death spells, that it's hard not to get caught in a cycle of just trying to stay healthy during the fight. ...But how do you get the drop on someone with so many eyes?" Well, there were more of the latter, but it still was amazing nonethless. Not wanting to give her stomach a chance to speak up again, the girl quickly found a table and ordered. And when her food arrived, she ate Heaven's finest burger with an all too happy smile.

And he seemed in a place only vaguely familiar....

"Pray thee...Permit me to accompany you in these displays." she pleaded, drawing her axe. "I wish to be as elegant, and effective at slaying opposing forces as you are, my comrade."

She tried to keep an air of femininity, despite the gruesome, combat-centric dimension she was in. And...for the most part, she felt like she was succeeding.
