Sweet, bitter and a variety of other things haven't worked. Back to the dorm!
"Boom! Take that!" Torie lifted the slime above her head, much like a certain feline. "You shall be slimey and you shall be mine... Hopefully Stellbell doesn't mind." She hadn't thought of that... oops. Well, she couldn't be too angry, right?
Kamryn ran as he spotted another, gracefully scooping it up as it squeaked. He nearly dropped it though when it hissed at him. Another snake? Nope nope nope, screw this. He was out in a flash and the slime just squeaked happily and followed after him. QAQ

Rica had made some hardboiled eggs, maybe they were little predators? Who knew to be honest. But she carefully sat one before her and waited... and waited... and waited. One slowly made it's way out to her and she quickly grabbed it. "Hi there, little one!"
There were so many of these things! Were they made of snot or some other sort of goo? Cervina was contented just chasing them for a bit.
Why was this such a big deal that she had to leave work? She understood that the manager was friends with Ava, but come on! She was missing out on some nice tips! She quickly grabbed up the first slime she could with little effort. It vaguely reminded her of her mother, but she wasn't going to think too hard about it. There. Back to work.

Wait... If she actually could catch one, wouldn't Pawsa be happy? She quickly doubled her efforts to catch one instead of running around like a loon. She would succeed! Just you watch!
Al pouted as he followed after his cousin. "Tia, how are we supposed to catch one if you're not really looking?"
Venetia huffed, "I am looking, you dummy. You just need to learn how to hunt!" Not that she was really the best huntress, but she wanted to catch one before Ailia.
Pyxi skipped along, walking past some sleeping slimes without even thinking twice. They didn't want to disturb them!

Why was it so hard to catch boogers?! She was starting to get a bit disappointed that her efforts weren't really yielding anything, but she didn't want to stop. She didn't want to lose this challenge!
"Tia, don't get us lost!" The kitten's tail was twitching, he should be in the lead! He was starting to get really irritated with his cousin.
"I won't, calm yourself!" she huffed gently. The weren't seeing many slimes in this wing, maybe they should go to another?
Pyxi gently skipped down the hall, trying to not wake the sleeping slimes. They were so cute! They wanted to collect them all!

Artemis wasn't especially thrilled with the current state of affairs. She eyed the slimes with a critical look as they passed around her and, for now, made no attempts to catch one. They were probably sticky and felt weird anyway, if their name was anything to go by. Nothing!Corbin assessed the surrounding groups, all eagerly attempting to pluck up their own slimes and wrangle these excessive numbers into something manageable. He wanted to help as well but he wasn't quite moving quick enough, leaned down with his hands out to sneak up on one. It would move as he approached, though whether it had noticed him or not was up for debate, and Corbin would meander on to the next one with no success. Nothing!Valtia was more than a little overwhelmed by the slimy things everywhere. They certainly were cute but there were so many in number, so many in color, all shapes and manner. When one bounced toward her, Valtia squeaked and covered her face - it went right by her. Nothing!Pluto seemed to be stuck in an awkward sea of the things. So many were bouncing and bounding around the freshling that it was difficult to see around them all! Pluto stayed calm and still, for the most part, even as one jumped a little too excitedly and ended up right into the Geist's arms. They blinked at one another curiously - and Pluto walked away with a cute Nixie slime sporting a familiar set of blue eyes.

Cervina tried to pounce on a slime, and ended up eating grass. Her tail flicked in annoyance.
The kittens' bickering was scaring off the slimes that were in the area. Tia still lead them to the other wing while Al protested that they should go outside.
Pyxi decided it was time for a small nap, curling up close by the slimes.

One of the slimes hopped over to the fallen Cervina and gently licked her face. She snagged it up into a hug with a grin. "Hey there! Want to be my friend?" It squeaked but didn't fight the hug.
Tia quickly scooped up a slime while Al was raising his argument. "See! I told you I could catch one!" She purred in contentment as it struggled in her arms. It wasn't much of a hugger, but it calmed down soon enough.
"That's not fair, Tia! I'm going to go find one myself!" angry, he quickly ran off, leaving his cousin behind.
Pyxi was just about to fall asleep when a slime scooted closer to them. They wrapped their arms around the little slime and sighed into a nice nap.

Al huffed as he made his way down the corridor. Stupid Tia, stupid slimes. He would catch one too, just you wait!
Quill yawned as they made their way out into the slimemageddon. They were curious about what had happened that Ava had made everyone help out, but now he could see why. This was nuts.

Why did she have to send them down a deserted hallway anyway when there was obviously so many more outside? This was a joke and Al just wanted to punch Tia in the arm.
So, catching slimes was harder than expected. They didn't really conform to shapes all the time and it was just like..... okay.

Artemis was continuing to side eye the slimes with a slight cringe. She was here and knew she would be expected to help but there were so many other things she wanted to do that were more fun than this. Nothing!Corbin, despite his efforts, still wasn't having much luck. He kept a slow and steady pace, trying not to startle any of the slimes but with little success. Nothing!Valtia murmured uneasily after calming down from her initial scare. She swayed where she stood, nervous and uncertain, only to startle at a brush against her leg. This time, she froze and stared down with wide red eyes at the cute mushy thing at her feet. Hesitant as ever, but with the slime doing little other than circling across her boot, Valtia reached down to pluck the slow moving Naga slime up with a faint yelp.

Beatrix had to admit, some of these slimes were kind of cute. What was less cute? The fact that some of them had started to go for her costuming supplies. "Oh no no no no! Get out of there!" The geist attempted to shoo some of the little blobs away, not wanting to find out if they'd leave behind any sort of trail like their name suggested.

Supplies successfully saved Beatrix looked out onto the (very large) remaining gaggle of slimes in the hall she was in. At the very least they didn't seem to be leaky. And some of them did have some very nice colors...

Packing up her tote back and settling it firmly over her shoulder, Beatrix eyed the group in front of her. They did didn't run but they didn't come any closer either, just sort of meandering around and jumping - bouncing? wiggling? - in place.

Artemis shuffled her hooves, beginning to pace in place. At least the nasty things weren't leaving slime trails, which made her second guess her first assessment of them feeling gross to the touch. Nothing!Patience won out, in Corbin's case. There was one particular Demon slime that seemed none too aware of its surroundings as it preened. He was able to step right up and lift the little thing off the floor. It squirmed disapprovingly but didn't fight back much.
