As cold as her icy winter pelt. Hazi is about as anti-social as it is possible to be within such a large pride. She dislikes idiots, fools and gossips. She resents the fact that she was born into such a place where she is just one small part of the whole. Not that she particularly wants to be an individual or to be acknowledged. But it is the fact that she has to interact on a daily basis with other lions that riles her so badly. She would strike off on her own as a rogue if not for the fact that she is terrified of actually being alone. For this antisocial, bad tempered female is agoraphobic.

Nothing remarkable has happened to this lioness. Born to a pride lioness, her sire was a short-lived Inselelo. Hazi had a normal upbringing. Her personality was apparent early on but it was only as she grew older that her agoraphobia came to light. There doesn't appear to be a trigger behind her problem, or at least, no single incident that she can remember.
Why would she support Umlotha?: Umlotha can easily win her support simply by promising to be near by without forcing interaction onto Amakhaza.

He tries not to be bitter about the accident that robbed him of his ability to fly. The fact that he is now stuck with a grumpy lioness on top of that is like rubbing salt in old wounds. But he is determined to make the best of the situation.

Having been expecting to be the companion of a Cinga or an Enda since he was a chick, the accident and subsequent broken wing were a huge disapointment. Now only able to get around with extremely limited mobility, Kazi was introduced to Amakhaza by the Cinga Ilanga and her vulture companion Idla after the pair realised Amakhaza may benifit from a companion to help with her Agoraphobia. He is now the Umzingeli's companion/aide and is rarely far from her side.

Kezela is as much a traditionalist as her mother and grandmother were, guided strongly by Uheshe's influence. Though unlike her mother, she has a slightly more generous spirit, the result of being pride-raised by multiple females with different views and personalities. She considers Umzingeli her equals, cubs of the abaholi being more equal than Inselelo spawned offspring. Busisa are useful and good friends and pride-sisters, but they are not Blood. However she readily accepts them as family. She is secretly jealous of her sister's more natural coat and colouring. Kezela may be named for suffering, but she also believes her name is short for 'reverse' as she is the reverse of a normal lioness, where the paler colour is on their bellies, not their backs.
She will look for a dark maned male when it comes time for her to have cubs of her own as she fully believes that darker manes reveal a lion's superior strength. She also distrusts any male that is not Umholi or Inselelo and will keep all Ahluke at a wide and wary distance.
On the whole she is a well adjusted, if slightly isolated female. She is well aware that her and her siblings caused their mother's death and this fact weighs heavy on her.

Born during the worst drough in living memory. Her mother died from milk fever, her grandmother died hunting during the drought.

She is obsessed with her own bloodline, and that of her children. Knowing she is decended from Gakere, one of the pride's greatest Umholi, she is determined to find a suitable sire for her own cubs. Being related to both current Umholi, and refusing to even look at the pale Inselelo, she is forced to choose an option that she considers the lesser of two evils. To look outside the pride. But not the bloodlines. She knows that the grandfather of Anashe was the son of the great Matifu, and that the male not only has a dark mane, but his fur is dark also. The fact that he visits the pride to keep tabs on his own bloodline makes him easy enough to find. So she plans to request he sire her first litter, if no new, more suitable option appears.

An experienced lioness, Sváfa is an excellent fighter. Typically calm and controlled she rarely shows any sign of a temper. She never talks of her past and is thus something of a mysterious figure, but the number of scars she wears and the natural pride with which she carries herself hints at more than just the simple rogue she claimed to be.

Born into the Myrsky Syntynyt she was a proper old school Stormborn and can trace her linage back through many generations. She spent her early life training alongside her brother Hólmgeir, and their third sibling. The sister was a cold hearted and cruel lioness who took the Stormborn motto far too litterally. She went on a murder spree while out in the roguelands one day, decimating a small family pride. It was the murder of a litter of week old cubs that finally prompted Sváfa into action. She killed her sister that day and has since worn her sibling's pelt as both a rememberance and a reminder. After committing familicide, Sváfa felt that she could not return to her brother with their sibling's blood on her paws. So she turned her back on the only home she had ever known and made her way to the Ithambo.

Despite being named 'Queen' and being the apple of her mother's eye and the one expected to succeed above all other Ithambo lions, Khaleesi has absolutly no interest in her mother's plans for pride domination, or in proving that 'silver is best'. Rather she does things her own way, having the same massive independant streak as her mother but without the crippling agoraphobia. As such she is stubbon and individualistic, resisting any attempts to bend her to the social norms and living as she wishes to live. That is not to say that she is unsocial, just that she refuses to do anything against her will.

His mother gave him the name Kosan in the hopes that it would help him to grow up strong and to offset his unfortunate colouration. However he knows she was deeply disapointed not only by the fact that he was male, but by his dark brown coat. He is a quiet and consiencious cub, always trying to do his best to win her approval but outside of bleaching himself white and changing gender, he knows there is nothing he can really do. Nevertheless he listens during their lessons and does all he can to be the big, proud warrior his mother expects.
