Abrila Variga attacks Byakko Mawiya
Abrila... was right! Her prediction that there would be traps came absolutely true as she kept up with the rebels at a surprising speed. It was a good thing she had planned for it, because as soon as the wires started coming (barely) into view, all kinds of carnage would ensue. Well, this troll was planning to keep as much of her perfectly normal and healthy orange blood in her body.
Some unfortunate soul wasn't so lucky. Abrila heard a sharp ping and a spear shot out from seemingly nowhere. As she kept going, she found the weapon as it glinted with blood. A normal shade of blood. The sight gave her an idea and she snatched the weapon up.
Handling her shovel made the even weight of the spear feel like nothing in her hands. She threw it sloppily, misjudging it's balance, but it struck Akko in the shoulder blade. Hah! She imagined some of that normal blood counteracting the mutant's ghastly pink. Like a psychopharmacologist giving an injection to prevent a nasty disease.

At least they were running, for the most part, but the mutantblooded leader didn't seem to be flagging much at all, though trolls all around Alifax seemed to be having trouble.
Alifax narrowed his eyes as he realized the place was lined with traps - but up near him Kursha threw something over the fleeing rebel forces, too. Okay, well, at least that was being taken care of. Quickly he rushed to play more follow the mutantblood - heh, as if he'd ever do that without wanting to actually die - but he didn't notice the rope until he was already being lifted into the air. s**t.
Still, he swung with his meteors, glad that the long chain gave him some reach, at least. He hoped that he could hit.

PVP TROLL Health: 8 Defensive B Trinket: 1/1 Support A Artefact: 1/1 He and Etsali had broke into the thick of combat again, when the greenblood changed his method of attack. Cursing, Ephias reeled backwards as something shot in front of him. To his right, he saw it unravel over an unfamiliar troll, frying them with electricity. His lip curled and he bared his teeth. Just how many methods could a single troll think up for killing others? As he chased after Etsali, something snared his foot. Ephias crashed to the ground, landing hard on his chin. Oh, god dammit. [ Ephias does 2 damage to Kursha. ]

ANGUIS IS ATTACKING KURSHA
"Thanks," He replied, touching the bandages lightly before getting up. The shout from Kursha and Luxara's question caught his attention and he watched as the weapon went off, eyes widening in horror as he moved to dodge the nets.
It, at the start, went fine and he didn't get touched. But he wasn't paying attention, trying to keep track of Luxara and Forera, and he fell face first into the ground over a net. <********> He gasped out in pain, dragging himself up from the ground and gingerly touching his noise. He couldn't tell if it was broken, but there was blood gushing from it, now covering the front of his face and his chest. He wasn't going to let that get him down though and he rushed forward, watching Luxara roll off of Kursha in time for him to get a good stab in. It wasn't much, but it'd have to do.
HP: 10/20

ZEFFER ATTACKS KURSHA
Zeffer was struggling to stay toward the front, closer to Akko, and their traitorous foe. A surge of guilt went through him as he glanced back, Maneki under arm, realizing he wasn't doing a very good job of working with the other officers. He could see Vremea's horns off in the distance, and the flash of her scythe, but none of the others stood out. Regret gripped him for a moment, and he hoped that they were still alive. He knew where Byakko was leading them, confident that the next section of tunnel would be plenty rough on the intruders.
The screams of pain up ahead told them that their carefully set traps were working, but then the blast of Kursha's gun sounded over the din. Zeffer yanked Maneki in against his chest just in time; the b*****d wasn't shooting bullets anymore. Zeffer tried to avoid the net, but it settled over him and he was suddenly immensely glad for his thick jacket, which was already beginning to burn.
"Maneki, hold onto my neck. Ngh!!" He grit his teeth against the pain of the electricity sizzling against him, but it was nothing compared to certain past experiences. Reaching out, he tossed the net backwards, only to get it tangled amongst his horns. A string of angry curses left him as he struggled to free himself.
27/40-6= 21/40
+1 dmg for adult

Zindel dealt 6 damage to Byakko. He wasn't wrong, huh. Watching the yellowbloods reactions, Zindel almost felt sorry for the other-- They were fighting to destroy them simply for them trying to fight for what was right. But it wasn't right, because they weren't thinking correctly. They wouldn't win, either way. "I'm glad." He stated, actually thankful he was okay and not hurt. "I'm fine, really, not hurt at all." He stated, then looked around wearily before clenching his teeth and finally deciding to ask him a question. "I just don't get it. Why are you all doing this? You shouldn't fight, just accept it. I don't mean to say this in a mocking way or anything, but... You guys are defying a full government. You shouldn't be fighting us! You're going to die if you all keep this up--" Looking away to see a drone staring directly at him, Zindel couldn't help but clench his teeth and feel a slight nervousness curl in him. "I--I need to go, I need to go now," He didn't want to die, not at all. So he pushed harder, trying harder so that he wouldn't get somehow culled in the future.

Witiko Dad is Attacking Byakko! Witikodad was prepared to protect Afryse. Even if he seemed like a bad parent, he truly did care. When the blow came, he blocked his charge and was thrown into the cave wall. In horror, Afryse went to rescue his father, tears streaming down his face. "DAD! DAD NO!" HP: 30/40 WitikoDad did 3 DMG

Carefully Dictys followed the push - but ey made sure to stay at the back, to be certain that ey'd catch any drones possibly hanging back.
Eir lusus, on the other hand, pushed on. They had a perfect vantage point from which to attack this mutantblood, after all, and so they did. And they were doing well, for a while: they were small, and so it was easy for them to dodge traps. But the tunnel went on for a long while.
At least, though, they'd gotten a few hits in.

Nictor let out a sharp hum of distress as the din of battle picked up once more, loud and oppressive and dangerous. In response to his little grubs distress, Beehemoth began buzzing and clicking at drones once more, grabbing one nearby that had fallen and shoving them back towards the fray.

PVP TROLL Stryke is attacking Kursha."just go!" He yelled at him glaring, not wanting to ruin his precious reputation or have him associated if he had no intentions of looking out for only himself. While he knew why Zindel asked him what he had, it was still sad and had him shaking his head. Stryke didn't expect him to understand he hadn't the same kinds of ties and attachments. Before he was out of ear shot he answered him without hesitation. "it's about fighting for what you think is the right thing, despite the risk. it's against the government, but haven't you ever wanted to protect something other than yourself?! i'm fighting to protect people i care about..and those who can't for themselves." He snapped back before the other left, glaring at the drone that had been eyeing the both. What they had to loose was great, the very hope that had inspired him to keep fighting was on the brink of ruin. The change in tempo and guns on Kursha's part distracted him long enough he wasn't looking around him. An angry drone slammed into him, just as the two were beginning to fight one of the electric nets landed on the scuffling pair like some kind of cruel get along containment. Only this one had a charge to it, and wasn't intended to be user friendly. Screaming in pain he thrashed along with the drone. Luckily the damage was distributed evenly but that didn't mean it didn't hurt any less. Cursing he thrashed and moved out from under the net. The burn from the net amplified his previous burn. Thankfully trolls were resilient beings, but that didn't make it hurt any less. They had no time to keep talking...the fight was beginning to rage on. Stryke's HP: 12/20 (and -1 every time for the rest of the round) Stryke deals 2 damage

15/20 2/3 regen Offensive Style A novice trinket +1 Damage +1 Accuracy this round! Kursha pulled out the net gun and Ganyma fell back to see Milieu become ensnared in the net. He grunted as she fell, ready to rip the weapon off of her, but fortunately it was a dud. Thank gog. She discarded the net and he went to retrieve it, remembering a common tactic from the gladiaterror arena. "Hm-mmph!" Ganyma swung his strong arms and sent the net whirling across the cavern like a professional athlete. It landed perfectly, entangling two trolls, and he pumped his fist with quick enthusiasm. There was Milieu. Ganyma gave her a quick hand-sign to move forward. Ganyma deals 5 damage!

The rebels were on the run! Scrambling back to her feet, Lorata followed MeduMa as the jellyfish lusus drifted across the room to follow the drones in pressing in. The little seadweller was glad to see her mom hadn't given up on giving those terrible things what they deserved. It would probably even be pretty easy to finish them off, now that their leader was doing such a good job of trapping them in nets! She giggled at the thought, delighted, and then had to bite down a scream as her lusus was suddenly sent flying into a wall.
There were hisses of pain and confusion and anger, and she realized some voices, those that hit the wall first, weren't hissing at all. Meduma hovered a little off the floor, still reeling, and Lorata whirled to find someone to blame.
Meduma does 1 damage to Byakko.

Reemus is attacking Kursha!Not long after they had a little bit of a breather, the b*****d came back with some huge, new gun. Reemus squinted, more concerned about what this thing did than what the bloke was saying. But he couldn't predict the ammo, as much as he tried in those moments before Kursha pulled the trigger.
Expanding shapes popped into the air. "Nets!" He crouched down, trying to shield Voscil and company from the electricity. He felt the mesh snag around him, but...opening an eye, then both, he realized...it wasn't shocking him? Well, okay, then. Guess this guy was more full of it than the yellowblood thought previously. Reemus pulled it off, irked at the mess it was to get the webby material off, but after he went up for a little pay back. On his way, he spotted a familiar symbol under another net. "Athene!" But, hers too seemed to be a dud. She had gotten out of it okay and was now attacking Kursha herself. Reemus swung in after she barely grazed him, taking position to bite an arm before shielding Athene from any repurcussions. "Athene!" he repeated himself, overjoyed to see she was still kicking. "You okay, mate?" he asked breathlessly.

Maneki is Attacking Drones! Maneki felt them fall more than saw the net. He obeyed Zeffer, hearing and feeling the electricity on his skin. Crying in dismay, he curled against the blueblood. What if Zeffer died?! What if Zeffer got really hurt? "Zeffer no! Zeff please be careful!" The older troll threw off the net and Maneki felt instant relief. Though three drones, upon seeing the downed adult, charged. Maneki whirled, his claws out and dispatched them all. "Stay away from my Zeffer! You JERKY POO HEADS!" Drones Hurt: 3

Forera dealt 0 damage to Kursha. Aww, to hell with Kursha! Listening to him sneer in their faces only irritated her more, making a snarl slide out of her mouth when suddenly, Forera was covered in a net. Blinking she ripped it off, watching the others around her get electrocuted. Well, s**t, she avoided that one.
HP: 18 - 3 = 14 HP
