"Charrr!" Roxy scrabbled on the ground, toppling over and over with Chica. She grabbed a ring and started bonking the Pichu on the head with it. In their tussel, two rings flew off and landed on a couple bottles.
"Hhh...huff....th-there you are..." Alex panted, trudging slowly towards the two pokemon while he lugged Patches in his arms.
"Char!" Roxy gave a final push, scrabbling out from under Chica. She darted under Alex's legs and bonked him on the back of the knees. "Wha-" Alex floded. "Pi...pichu!" Chica tried to reverse, but she'd been sprinting towards Alex already, and the boy and Bulbasaur came crashing down on top of her.
Roxy slowed to a stop and glanced behind her. Seeing no one in pursuit, she chortled and resumed with a more leisurely pace. Walking up to where she'd tossed all those darts at Chica, Roxy was suddenly given a bunch of the sharp things by a clueless human. Roxy glanced from the darts to the board...and set everything on fire.
"Pi-chu!" Roxy startled. "How did she find me so quick!?" Chica leaped atop a stand-up sign. "Maybe you shouldn't set everything on fire!" she cried. "Ch-charrrr!" Roxy ran straight into the sign, smashing it over, and started running away.
Roxy leaped into the fishing pool to get away from Chica. She realized belatedly that fishing pools were filled with water. "H-hey!" Roxy clung to the arm of someone fishing, scrabbling madly and tearing their net to shreds. Chica barreled right into the pool, nearly caught up by the time Roxy managed to fight her way to the ground. Chica spat out a tiny wailmer and continued the chase.
Chica had had enough, and seemed to have devolved into the tactic of shooting thunderbolts at everything. Roxy took cover in the arcade, and their path could be marked by the exploding and spontaneous combustion of half the machines.
Alex was lucky he was so far behind, or he probably would have been indentured for life...
When Autumn tried the fishing game for the wailmer once more, she did horribly. Somehow, the net seemed to have broken before it even got submerged in the water.
Kai's tail swayed to and fro as he was offered food not only from Isis, but also from Dumuzi. The gator gently took the bun from Isis with his tongue, eating it happily. Leon had let him go from his hold at this point, since he was more interested in the offered food than the trash for the moment. Then Dumuzi offered up something for Kai to eat, and he sniffed at it before licking it up and eating it, grumbling in delight. "Ha, thanks you two. He seems to have an appetite of a snorlax. Don't let him fool you though. I do feed him well." Leon commented with a smile and laugh, patting Kai's side as they started moving away from the concession area.
Dumuzi and Isis both continued their conversation along the way, and Leon followed along, listening. Then, the younger girl asked him a grooming question. He scratched at the back of his head as he thought up an answer for her. He hadn't done much grooming to rock types, but he could remember at least one instance where he did. "Hm. For rock pokemon, I think a rag and some polish works the best. Some of the more rough rock types like a bit of sanding, though. I wouldn't recommend trying to groom an Onix, though. It takes a long time." Leon answered. As good as he had been paid for that job, he definitely wouldn't groom an Onix again. At least not without help. Though he was also a trainer, he did not mind one bit answering grooming questions. After all, he's been grooming longer than he's been a trainer himself. He looked to Theo as Dumuzi asked why he was being so quiet. Leon raised an eyebrow at the boy's response. It came off as a tad arrogant. Especially considering that Isis had 7 badges and Leon was... well, not as far as Isis, but was obviously a good enough trainer. "Huh. I see how it is. Are we not good enough for ya?" Leon commented, teasing the boy a bit. "Guess you don't want dating advice, either then, hm?" he added with a grin, then chuckled. The boy, where ever he was from, seemed to think he had all he needed to go challenge gyms. Either that, or he just didn't want to be part of the conversation.
The lake was up ahead, the sound of music in the distance. Isis had just gotten to the subject of Ren, crediting Leon with grooming the navy fox. He smiled sheepishly as his skill was complimented, a light blush dusting his cheeks. "Ah, well... Ren had a great coat to work with." Leon said. The vulpix had always been pretty easy to handle, and though he had his doubts about his owner sometimes, Ren always seemed to have a healthy coat. The raven haired male chuckled as Dumuzi commented on Isis liking blue pokemon. It certainly seemed that way so far. After all, Kai seemed to be a big favorite of hers, and she did love Niamh's coat.
Leon's face felt a bit warm at the younger girl's guess at how they had met. That certainly would have made for a great meeting. Much better than meeting in the middle of some horror story to save a friend from a heart attack. This young teen certainly had a great imagination, especially for the romantic, he'd give her that. Figuring that the truth about how they first met would possibly bring her mood down a bit again, Leon wasted no time in playing along. "Ah, yes. But i think it was Isis that did the heart cracking with that smile of hers. I like to think of it more like the princess finding her hidden prince~" he smiled, moving over to Isis and wrapping an arm around her to pull her close.

Results Dumuzi gave the wheel a good spin. She waited patiently for the wheel to spin and got a little more excited as the wheel continued to roll around and around. She wondered if she was going to be able to get all the tms that she was going to need in order to make her dream team of moves for her contests. Dumuzi tried her hand at the darts game, it had been a little while sense she had tried this and she hoped that her skills weren’t too terrible at the moment. Dumuzi took up her darts and gave an elegant throw, despite the sleeves that she found herself sporting. Dumuzi couldn’t help but wondered whether or not she would have an easier time of this if she had worn her more casual clothes. Deciding not to worry about that now she continued to break the balloons. With 50% of her targets assassinated from the points of the darts, she managed to rack up a nice 4 tickets.

Dumuzi had taken her little paper net and tried her best at the heavier fishing games that she was more or less comfortable with. She guessed she just found the ones in the heavier fishing games all the more cuter, and that was what drew her to them in the first place. She did her best to scoop up her chosen fish, but something must have spooked the little guy and she found that it had flailed through the paper net at the last minute. Dumuzi pouted but accepted her ticket with grace and a smile. She would get her chance to get them once more, and she would definitely be back to play again. How could she stay away from those adorable faces?

Though Dumuzi really wasn’t the best at these sorts of games, she figured she could still give it a shot and see how well she could do, she decided on the pinball games as she seemed to do a little bit better at them then with some of the other games here. There was just something appreciatively simplistic about the game that she could enjoy, and even if she didn’t do well with them, she certainly liked them enough to forgive herself if she scored low. She didn’t score very low this time around, however, as the she brought herself into a Zen mode with the game and managed to rival her old high score by the time that she burnt through her last ball. With a pleased feeling and a gentle smile on her face, she happily took her 7 tickets and headed off to try some more games.
