"As I do not like to be....tamed." He spat out the final word with a clear look of distaste. "If I am vanting pets or scratches, vill be asking for it. If am wanting cuddles, vill be vith somevun I am liking, and not some ghoul who I can not help but obey. Is that not sounding understandable?" He asked, noting with some satisfaction that her hand had, at least for now, dropped away from being held out towards his ears. "But you are pretty ghoul, and have been moderately acceptable as a date, so if behaving vill let you touch again....perhaps as vay of saying goodnight, or perhaps sooner. Vill even perhaps kiss hand if vanting." It would only be polite, after all. And then it was time to be bombarded with questions. At first Mathias did not answer her, instead taking another crunching bite out of a meat wrapped carrot. He chewed for a moment, looking almost thoughtful, before swallowing. "Vas just checking on good friend. He vas here but vas not sure about entering....I guess he found it vas not vorth it." For some reason, that gave him an aching, slightly hollow feeling inside. He hadn't expected Jove to be there, hadn't asked him to come, and yet knowing that he had been so close but had not passed that threshold into the event itself hurt, in ways that he couldn't explain. For a moment, his gaze wandered, searching for the familiar blue glow, the fancy clothing, the freckled skin and soft ears.... He suddenly swallowed quite hard, and then gave his head a small shake. He was here with somebody, after all, and he should perhaps begin to pay more attention to her then he had been. He turned toward her. He even dared to look in her eyes again. "Yes, vould like to do all of those things, if are villing. Dancing, photos...more games? Am sorry, have been distracted. Should not be letting my...problems? Get in vay of having good times." He popped one last carrot into his mouth, and then held out a hand towards her. "Ve vill do vhatever you are vishing to do next, and then ve vill do vutever I am vishing after. Agreed?" Perhaps he was not so good at this slave thing as he had thought he would be.

A rather twitchy gaze turned to Amrita as she gave him sass for talking to the baby. " I will set this hell spawn on the floor right now and make it your problem again so help me." But ah, Lattice had a good idea. Let's play pass the scareling. His arms were wrapped around the scareling holding it close as his gaze shifted over the room. Who to pass it to, who to pass it to? Wait..... " What in Jack's name did you just call me?" Had she called him father???? Nope nope nope. " HEL! Come get this thing right now!"

Somewhere in the room, there was a very large man with very long hair leaning against a wall, watching the festivities with curious but narrowed red eyes. Every once in a while, he lifted up metal clad fingers to stroke at his beard, his gaze shifting to various other areas of the room, from the dance floor to the buffet table to the game of pass the scareling that some of the colts and filly's seemed to be playing. So very strange, all of it. And then his gaze locked on one mare in particular that he actually recognized and an amused smile spread across his face as he pondered whether or not to go and say hi.

"Good to know you're not." Riyo propped her head up with her arm resting on the table, feeling sleepy just thinking about naps.
The cat ghoul would never pity or look down on Akubi for having so few friends. In reality, her boat had about the same amount of passengers, if not a few more due to her seniority. She did, however, feel sorry that one of them was her. She didn't feel like a good friend most days. Bad at comforting, worse at small talk, worst at sharing feelings. "Perhaps a nap would've served us both better." She yawned. Seemed like everyone should've stayed in their dorm.
She had shifted a quick glance to Titus again, still mildly curious to what he had procured.
Wait...
Was that...
Her eyes widened, immediately looking back to Akubi and pretending she hadn't seen what she thought she just saw. With any luck he hadn't seen her looking and everything would be 100% okay. The ghoul coughed and cleared her throat. "Maybe we should go back to the demon dorms now. Naps all around right?"

He let out another short laugh. Never short on being amused it seemed.
There was a suggestion of going back and getting a nap. He sort of sat up a little straighter, "Yes. I think that is an excellent idea." He didn't really get a good look at where Riyo was staring, but he wasn't one to use up his nosey cards all in one night.
"Shall we?" Napsnapsnapsnaps. -------------- Lattice let out a series of monotone chuckle as Titus tried to reach out to Hel, "I somehow doubt she will come to your rescue." Just something about the idea of Hel holding a child was utterly ridiculous to the Engraver.
She was certain Hel had a motherly side to her but ... At the moment she doubted that Hel wanted to hold a scareling just now.

It was that very wedding dress that gave West pause. He glanced between it and Hel's outstretched hand, a sarcastic tilt to his lips. Then, he shrugged. "Yeah, sure."And then he began to dance.

It wasn't in Verusha's style to really keep up with the going-ons in the school, if it didn't involve her. So while she had no idea who this ghoul was, she was starting to sort of recognize her from.... something. Maybe in passing through the hallways? a leaflet? bah who knows. And who cares! But keeping troublemakers from getting out of line? The reaper couldn't help but smirk in a sort of smug way. Being one herself, she supposed the other ghoul was doing a decent job of keeping even her in line for the time being.
When the butterflies were shown off, Verusha watched them idly, "nifty." was all she gave on them, comment wise. They were alright, she supposed. But nothing compared to her Cannon. "Are you enjoying yourself then, Psy?" she mused, not really thinking this was the sort of scene for a tiny bug. But hey, who knows!
Cannon spared a side glance up at the butterfly, eyeing it sharply, and every move it made, in that predatory sort of way.

Lacie was late to the dance ;_____; And she didn't even have the time to send a text to A.J despite his own considerate texts towards her. She walked uncertainly into the auditorium, clutching her phone in hand. Just as she entered the bustling room, her phone flashed with another text. She was dressed in a black dress and cardigan; her hair partly braided and tied into aponytail on the side of her head, lightly curled at the ends. This event was very popular, though she hadn't been here the previous years to compare it, it was lively and full of fun. She knew AJ was a popular guy, so she didn't think that he had been sitting around waiting for her. All the same, she didn't normally keep people waiting no matter what the reason. She would apologize to AJ once more after he finished with the photobooth. As for now, she took a glance around wondering if there was anybody else she knew in the vicinity..? Meegane Text to AJ: I'm sorry I'm late. I've just arrived, so take your time in the photo booth. (sorry bby! ;___; rl omg)

Hel shot West a crooked grin as he eyed her dress. "What? You think it is going to bite you?" She teased, and then paused as he accepted her offer to dance but-- She just started at him, and then laughed. Her laughter was cut short though as she heard a nightmare demon yelling for her, and she whipped her head around to level a glare at Titus from where she was. "******** YOU, TITUS!" She screamed back. "THAT IS KARMA, MOTHER ********!" That was a no. She then turned back to West, and finally started to 'dance' with him, in response to his stellar moves. While dancing, she had the feeling there was another pair of eyes on her (and why shouldn't there be, she knew she was ravishing in this wedding dress). While she was dancing, her eyes started to scan the crowd, and at first, they passed over the Horseman as if he couldn't really be there...but then her eyes immediately snapped back to the large figure leaned up against the wall. Her eyes widened, and then she pretty much looked like a fish out of water. No way. Smerdle I even imagine West with the same face /dies Seussi Someone's about to get accosted...

The prospect of touching his ears again lifted her spirits slightly. Hollandaise had enjoyed the look of sheer enjoyment on Mathias' face even more than the soft feel of his ears. She decided that soft ranked up there with large and with green. And oh, she had noticed that Deszeld and Aisha had snuck out of the gym... together. She suddenly felt a little ill. Maybe she had just managed to do one too many things wrong and now she was abandoned - the elders had essentially done that, of course everyone else would as well. Once again, she'd been so lost in her thoughts that she had missed a few of the boil's words. But, she still smiled into his eyes and while it was a little forced, she truly enjoyed Mathias' company. "Mmm, no, it is normal to think about whomever you are missing, Mathias. I am sure your friend merely got distracted. Why did you not invite him? Although, I appreciate you buying me; you're a nice boil. I did not mean to tame you or anything." She set her still-full plate down; Hollandaise no longer felt like eating anything at all. Her phone, which had been opened to critter, was slipped back under the waistband of her dress - it was a bit of an awkward shuffle to get it there without flashing all and sundry. "What I want... Do you know how to dance?" she mumbled. Hollandaise did not. In fact, she was quite sure she would be abysmal at it. Unlike other, undead ghouls. She sighed and glanced around. "Why don't we get some more drinks? They weren't bad last time. Then we can do as you please, Mathias." She reached down, grabbing his hand, and began to calmly make her way to the drink table. There was no point in showing her upset, or excitement, or whatever - warders were not supposed to feel anything very strongly, after all. Seussi I'll bring em on over to drinky drink land too~

Titus looked distressed as he was left high and dry. " You b***h!" Karma his a**, Hel just wanted him to suffer. What was he supposed to do with this thing? He wasn't a fatherly figure, he didn't like scarelings. Hell he was the youngest in the family he didn't know how to deal with tiny slobbering puke machines. He looked to the scareling in his arms again clearly uncomfortable. Maybe if he could just pretend it was one of his foxfires. He stared at it a little longer. Cue internal screaming. No...he couldn't do it. Eyes drifting up again they managed to make brief contact with Riyo. They widened suddenly locking in as she quickly turned away. Riyo was a ghoul, she could certainly deal with this right? Titus looked down at Lattice and then at Amrita trying to play off like he was fine. No, he totally wasn't bothered by this tiny scareling but as he turned to Riyo again he gave her a pleading look hoping she would see.

He danced through her Titus-taunting, interested to see that he wasn't the only one she chose to mock with such relentless passion. Maybe she had some sort of brain rot that made her incredibly loud and annoying. Either way, West found himself wondering what she'd be like truly angry. He'd have to find out some time. He didn't really care about some demon with a temporary scareling, but he was intrigued by Hel's reaction to the horseman in the shadows. "That who yer marryin'?"Seussi just looking at your buffness, wrathman

As much as Alex thought that he might actually be able to guide Yin to the drinks table, he once again never took into account that his fiance could move much faster than him, and instead he found himself being dragged behind as he so often did. They were heading in the direction of the drinks anyways, so clearly Yin knew just where he was going. But then he stopped, and turned back towards Alex and..wait did he just ask if this was a good place to dance?? "Um...ya, okay!" Of course, he wasn't about to complain! He had thought that the one dance with Yin had been more then he could have really asked for, but two? He vaguely wondered what might have come over the weremantis, but again, not about to complain, he simply went with it, and began to move along to the rhythm of the beat easily until the song came to it's completion. "Ready for a drink now?" He asked, spinning on his heel and coming to an abrupt stop with a sharp tap of skeletal toes on the hard floor.

Wrath continued to watch Hel, an almost amused look on his face. She appeared to be wearing a Very Fancy Dress, though he did not recognize it for what it truly was, so it was not very alarming to him at all (save for the fact that he wasn't sure Very Fancy Dresses suited a young mare who was shouting expletives into the crowd). And then she appeared to have spotted him. Arms crossing over a wide chest, he raised a single hand just enough to waggle metal clad fingers at her, half smile curling upwards. Her companion was shot a glance as well, a quick flick up and down as if Wrath was judging his worth. Was this the stallion that she had mentioned when he had first met her? The one she was sure would not share? Wrath was 99% sure he could probably take him out and steal her away regardless.

Hel had froze, but it was West's question that had her spurred back into action. She spluttered, choked, and whipped her head around so fast to give the demon an are you insane look that it gave her whiplash. "Ack! No!" She pointed at Wrath. "Horseman, ya!? The horsemen had disappeared some Octobers ago, all of them, and the Lost Clans were taken down and now he is here!" The urgency and the weight of how much this meant to the valkyrie was most likely lost on West, for Hel did not go into further detail about why it was important to her. "I am going to him!" She declared, picked up the front of her dress, and started to bowl over the students in her way to get to the wall. In the clear wake she had left, West was more welcome to follow if he so chose. Upon approaching the horseman, the reaper's eyes were a bit wide, if not determined, and when she was finally before, she pointed a finger at him. " You--!" She started. " Where have you been!? Where have all the horsemen gone!? Where is Salbei? Do you know where he is? Tell me!" Hel then tried to not think about Wrath's bodacious body boning Gramp's rail thin one again...she may have shuddered a bit.
