xxxxxxx Entering the training ground, Ieyasu unfurled a scroll containing his Shakuton's secrets. This scroll had the knowledge of the remaining three techniques in his clan's arsenal. The first two were Jounin level techniques. Hijō Mushi Satsujin (Extremely Burning Murder) and Shōkyaku Furea (Incinerating Flare). The final technique in the scroll was the Kitsuen Arechi (Smoking Wasteland).
Addressing the first technique, it was basically the formation of small balls of Shakuton which could be controlled. Using his chakra, Ieyasu attempted to do so, creating one small ball of Shakuton that he could move at will with his skill. He played around with it for a bit to make sure he had the trajectory down. 1/8
With the first ball of Shakuton still out, he attempted to form a second ball. This one appeared resembling the first identical in size. He spun them around himself to understand trajectory better. 2/8
At this point, he decided to form an additional two Shakuton balls. At this point he felt the stress of the chakra weighing down on him. This amount of control required expert patience. 3/8
Playing around with the Shakuton balls, he waved them around and tried to see their limitation of distance. He could see that they had quite an extended range. This was interesting to him, as he imagined many uses for this. 4/8
Using a select boulder in the zen-garden training area, he then launched the Shakuton balls at it. The boulder was burnt and the water around it evaporated. A haze of steam raised from the location. 5/8
He did this same motion once more. First, the creation of the Shakuton balls. Then, the barrage attack of the Shakuton balls against the boulder. 6/8
At this point, he believed he had a very decent grasp on the technique. He formed the four Shakuton balls and waved them around at maximum speed. He then struck them into separate directions. 7/8
Each of the Shakuton balls struck a new boulder. This meant that they were mastered. Ieyasu then smiled, knowing he had earned a new technique. 8/8

xxxxxxx With the first technique learned, he turned to the next technique. It was the Incinerating Flare, which involved merging those balls of Shakuton into a big one that blows up. He was excited about this one. 1/8
First forming the four balls of Shakuton from before, he attempting to combine them together. As they merged, they faded in power before dissipating. He realized he would have to maintain chakra control. 2/8
Reforming the Shakuton balls, he merged them into a single ball. This time he manipulated the large mass and controlled its trajectory. It was not able to maintain its form and dissipated. 3/8
As the process followed, there was first the formation of the Shakuton balls. These four balls swirled about before meeting one another and forming a larger ball. This globe could then be controlled. 4/8
Following the globe's formation, he then decided it was time to add another component. He was going to explode the ball. Tossing the mass towards a tree, it burst and dehydrated the tree and moisture around the area. 5/8
The four balls were formed into a single solid mass. This mass of Shakuton then burst into another tree dehydrating it. He was starting to really get the hang of the technique. 6/8
With everything in mind, he figured to master the technique he just had to use it a few more times. He did so, destroying a couple more trees. They were dehydrated and the ball seemed to maintain. 7/8
Using everything he learned up to now, he formed a larger ball than normal. Using his chakra control, he then expanded the Shakuton ball and burst it on several trees. He mastered the technique. 8/8

xxxxxxx For the final technique, it was the ace of the Shakuton techniques. The Smoke Wasteland. He was really excited to learn this one above all the others. 1/12
Basically, this technique involved building up a mass amount of chakra. Then the chakra is released to destroy and incinerate everything in a mass area. It was highly effective at annihilating an opponent. 2/12
With these things in mind, Ieyasu took a seat and began to focus his chakra. Before he would even bother attempting to use such a technique, he would draw it all out. That way he could actually muster the technique. 3/12
His chakra coursed through his points, focusing to allow him to be able to perform the technique. When he felt there was enough, he got up and moved to a large area that he could freely destroy. No one would mind an open space in the training area anyway. 4/12
Attempting the technique for the first time, he built up the Shakuton inside of him before hurling a large ball of fire outwards. It was white in coloring. This ball set ablaze three trees. 5/12
Getting a better feel for the technique, he formed a handseal to help concentrate and control the chakra. The flame this time was sent out into an orb above him in a manner similar to the previous one. He then manipulated this to spread outwards and burst. 6/12
More trees were incinerated this time. There was a large amount of steam rushing upwards into the sky. He was starting to figure out the technique. 7/12
He then extended out his arms in a dramatic motion. He released massive amount of white flames. These flames then balled up and surged forth. 8/12
A whole half of the area was now affected by the ranged potential of his technique. He curdled the chakra and kneaded it once more. He had to start practicing it now. 9/12
Doing as he has done before, he took all of the elements of his training seriously. He kneaded the chakra, before forming a white mass of flame above him. It when spread outwards like a wave. 10/12
This inferno had proceeded to wipe out the rest of the area he was aiming out. All of the trees were scorched. The water evaporated. 11/12
Knowing that he had mastered this technique meant that he felt assured that he would fight well. This ability would prove to be a signature. He knew that at the least. 12/12

xxxxxxx Opening the other scroll he had with his, it was the Sarutobi clan techniques. The first was My Other Self, followed by Shadow Switch, and finally Imperfect Dead Soul Reanimation.
The first technique was basically splitting oneself into two. It wasn't a complicated concept, but it meant essentially that Ieyasu would have to make a perfect clone of himself. He was ready. 1/2
Forming a single handseal, he split his chakra into two pieces. He kept 75% of his chakra and his copy had 25%. Since he was not a higher rank, he could not use the full amount of 100% split two ways. He mastered the technique. 2/2
xxxxxxx The next technique, the Shadow Switch was basically the ability to switch with a clone's position. He decided to use his personal clone for this. Forming a handseal, he failed to switch. 1/5
Doing this once more, he formed a handseal and the clone swapped places with him instantly. He enjoyed the practicality of this technique as he knew he could use it when he was in a bad position. It had many usages, actually. 2/5
He had his clone go behind a tree to increase the distance between himself and the clone. Forming a handseal, he switched with the clone. He was getting much better at it now. 3/5
He had his clone go even further away this time. But, he had the clone use the Shadow Switch instead. Obviously, it did not matter whether he used it or the clone did. He was near mastering it. 4/5
Finally, he formed a handseal and used the Shadow Switch one more time. He switched with the clone and smiled. He mastered the technique. 5/5

xxxxxxx The final technique to be learned was the Imperfect Dead Soul Reanimation. Essentially, this created a dead minion which could use a single element. This could prove to be useful in a battle where the user was outnumbered. 1/12
Taking some time to focus his chakra just as he did with the Shakuton technique, he performed the necessary handseals. An undead ninja rose before him possessing the lightning element. This one stared at him for a while which seemed creepy. 2/12
This undead ninja seemed to follow his commands, but fell apart almost immediately. This was proof that he had a ways to go before he could do this perfectly. He sighed, this was going to be tough. 3/12
He formed the Undead ninja once more, but this time it possessed the fire element. It appeared that each time, the Undead ninja would have a different element than before. It used some of his personal chakra. 4/12
He had this ninja used a fireball jutsu. It formed the handseals and launched the fireball at the target location. He smirked, knowing he could make great use of this ability. 5/12
Having this same undead ninja use his fire style, he noted that it had access to many techniques. He figured these beings were versed in their element's general abilities. This made sense to him. 6/12
The undead minion fell dead as its duration was up. He then formed the handseals once more and summoned a new minion. This one had the water element. 7/12
Playing around with this minion for a while, he decided that a single minion was simply not enough. He produced a second minion. This one would have the earth element. 8/12
Using both minions in tandem, he had them launch various attacks of their respective elements at boulders and trees. He understood now that they were capable of a large variety. They were strong too. 9/12
These minions seemed to follow his commands well. They did not disobey him and he was thankful for it. The Sarutobi's ability to command this made him intrigued. Was this technique perhaps related to Edo Tensei? 10/12
Regardless of his personal understanding, he kept on training the ability. He let the two minions die and then resummoned new ones. These two were Lightning and Wind users. 11/12
After mastering the technique, he felt proficient. This would prove to be one of his greatest tools in the battlefield. He knew this too well. 12/12

xxxxxxx Taking the initiative that he had been on, essentially, a roll, he decided he would create some techniques. This process was something that naturally came to him. The first technique that came to mind was one that could be used as a defensive measure. He decided to make a technique similar to the Hot Air technique. He would call this technique Drought.
First harnessing his chakra in a knead-like chat, he then rushed hot air as a dark cloud around him. It lasted for a moment spreading to a five feet radius. He knew he would have to practice this once more to master it. 1/2
Using the concept in his mind, as it was now deeply embedded, he formed a handseal and let the hot air surge around him. His Shakuton created a cloud of super heated air which would dry out everything. This was the beginning of what could be arguably a beautiful thing. 2/2
xxxxxxx The next technique he had in mind would be a preparatory technique. It would be of the Wind Style. He would title it Wind Force. Using his Wind Style nature, he began to manipulate the wind around him. Following a few handseals, he sent it outwards. 1/5
The wind spun around forming what could be a funnel, but not nearly the speed necessary to be the type of technique that he had in mind. So, he performed handseals once more, creating a faster funnel which began to spiral and last for an extended duration. 2/5
Using his better understanding of the wind style manipulation, he this time turned the funnel into a spiraling torrent. It rippled through the air for a decent distance before it began to dissipate. The goal was to make a drill though. 3/5
With the drill technique in mind, he had to form an extra handseal. He kneaded his chakra before sending out a powerful gust of wind which spiraled into a funnel and into a drilling piece. This drill struck into a tree and cut through it. 4/5
He knew he had mastered the technique when he watched the tree become drilled through. This was a beautiful thing, as he could now move on to the other technique. These two together would become one his ace techniques. 5/5
xxxxxxx The final and main technique he was interested in creating was the Scorched Serpent. It was basically a Dragon Fire technique, but with Shakuton instead in a stream formation. He wanted this to be a primary offensive option. 1/5
First creating the Wind Force spiral drill, he then reached and kneaded Shakuton chakra. This chakra then surged forth from his lips to ignite the wind. However, it was too slow to come out and missed the wind. 2/5
He tried once more. This time instantly unleashing the wind torrent and then launching the stream of Shakuton. It caught onto the wind tunnel. This created a spiraling drill of a Shakuton that surged into a boulder. 3/5.
Using his prerequisitely earned knowledge, he proceeded to manipulate his wind chakra. After creating the Wind Force spiral drill, he added the stream of Shakuton which ignited the drill. The combined force burnt through four sets of trees. 4/5
He did this technique one more time to make sure he fully had it mastered. Once he was able to replicate it to a full extent, he decided it was time to go and do some higher level missions. He needed to start earning renown and making some ryo. 5/5

Riri stood in the training grounds with his sword. He was preparing to get to training his demon. However he was getting agitated in the fact that he was bored. He had let Kya go to the beach alone, only because he had training to do.

A rush of wind swept the training area as Kasumo came running right for Riri. Her legs a blur as she seemed to be running with every bit of her energy she had. She was simply so excited she couldn't walk she had to run. "Riiiiirrriii!" she called out as she slowed down standing in front of the Hoshigaki holding out the file giving to her by the Mizukage. "Mission!" she said breathing heavily and smiling wildly.

Riri took her hand and spun Kasumo around into his arms. Then he took the file and opened it reading. "Good I have been bored, and its me and you, even better. Looks like our covers either were brother and sister or were dating, it's our choice. We also get a rank up if we succeed, and this mission is certainly top notch." He laughed and put his sword away, and then smiled. "This shall be fun, of course there no killing but what can you do." (This counts as custom mission.)

Before she even realized Riri had taken Kasumo's hand and spun her around ball room dance style into his arms. Her blue eyes widen for a moment as she had to take a moment to realize what had even happened. He took the file from her in the process and opened it. His eyes scanning the paper as he read it himself. Listening to the mission detail while still resting in his arms for a moment. "I don't mind either cover. Siblings would be easiest since we are of the same clan." her words fluid like water as she stepped out of his arms and placed both her hands on her small hips thinking over to the obtains. "But a couple might grain us less attention from locals." Kasumo was in serious mood now. Thinking about which would be the best choose. "What do you think?" she asked Riri wanting his opinion.

Riri thought a moment then looked Kasumo over. "Lets go with the couples, it will gain less attention. Also we can prove were a couple a little harder to prove your siblings. Not only that but its exciting, siblings are boring. We want to check out the whole place so it will make for a good cover. If were on a date it would make sense to explore the whole area." He then took the mission scroll and ripped it into shreds as instructed. "Were not the highest ranking so it is imperative that we do not blow cover. We get what we came for and get out of their as fast as possible. Well I'm ready to go what about you?"

"Sure." Kasumo said as she watched as Riri tore the scroll up into little tiny shreds of paper. Her eyes soften as her left hand feel from her hip as it dangled freely by her side. A thick smoke began to form around Kasumo and completely covered her for a moment. "Now we can't go in there looking like yourself." her voice rang out from behind the smoke and changed pitch half way through. Her enchanting and alluring voice shifted into a deeper pitch.. more adult like. The smoke slowly vanished as Kasumo had completely changed her appearance. Completely different from her usual look and that was the point. Long soft brown hair and pink colored eyes that seemed to innocent to bring anyone harm. Stretching for a moment she looked down at her own body to make sure things were in order. "Okay.. looks good. Call me Rima, darling." Acting like a couple might be easy but in truth Kasumo had never been in a relationship so it would be interesting. Knowing how to flirt was the highlight of her abilities in this sort of situation.

This being the first time she could actually use it of course. It's perfect and flawless and completely her own creation. Part of the appearance was inspired by Ruka Ranton another Kunoichi within the village but that was a tale for another day. Riri linked arms with her as they began to make their way towards the leaf. Riri was hard at work practicing with his sword, his target logs. Yeah it wasn't a moving target or anything but he wanted to make sure he didn't lose any of the skills he had built up. It was just routine practice, his sword was already like an extension of his arm.
