Mirai would be able to feel Texas's wavelength as well as the wavelength of someone else. This one she would recognize as well. They were both outside and at the edge of Mirai's realm, precisely where Herald, Takeshi, The Reaver and Emma had broken in to save her from the Machinists. It was clear from the wavelength that Texas was working at something very hard. Matt's wavelength was stable but he seemed to be running all over the place. Probably playing. The hole in Mirai's realm was still open but there was something different about it that Mirai would have to look at closer to discover.

Texas was working hard, covered in sweat. The hole in Miria's realm was still there, but instead of a ragged, shattered shape it was cut into a neat square. And it was no longer a hole. It was a bridge. Over the time Mirai had been gone Texas had used his own wavelength to create, seal over, and continually reinforce a bridge between Miria and Herald's realms. It was how Matt was able to be in her realm. It looked as though Texas had just finished and he was standing back, looking at the bridge. There was a massive open gate on Mirai's side that was also created with Texas's wavelength. It was able to slam shut suddenly and on command by either Texas or Mirai making it extremely difficult for someone on the other side to enter. Matt was running through the flowers, lighting them up in different patterns before they faded back to their original color. Texas turned to look at Mirai as he felt her wavelength approach. "Hey!" He said, surprise and delight in his voice. "Welcome back! What was the disturbance you went to investigate?" Matt turned to face Mirai as well, a big grin on his face. "Hey Mirai! Look! I actually get to come over to your realm now! Texas made the bridge so we can see each other in either place!"

Texas nodded slowly. "Ah, okay," he replied. He looked back at the gate when Mirai asked about it. "Yeah," he began proudly. "I um, didn't have enough resonance force to seal both of your realms completely, especially Herald's. So I did the next best thing. I built a bridge between the two realms and sealed it over so that stupid cat can't get in. I created a gate on our side that can open on either of our commands. I didn't create one on Herald's side obviously. He'll need to do that. Or rip the entire thing apart so we'll both have to seal our realms completely again. Either way, we'll have to wait for him." He turned back to Mirai. "Um, unless you don't like it we can destroy it and you can seal your realm back up again." Matt jumped up. "No! This is so awesome! Pleeeease don't blow up the bridge!" He pleaded, looking up at her worriedly. Texas looked down at Matt. "As soon as I got to the other side and started setting up the bridge there, I felt this kid's resonance force. I found him duct-taped to a tree.....I guess the cat did that." Matt frowned. "Yeah, she came sneaking into the realm like a thief and I caught her! Then she told me I was a brat and duct-taped me to a tree." Texas nodded. "Soooo, yeah. Apparently he knows you? He was pretty excited about the whole bridge idea. He's been running around here all day since I connected the realms." Texas walked up to Mirai and leaned forward, giving her a kiss on the lips. "Eww!" Matt said. "Missed you," he told her with a smile. "Are you okay? Nothing bad happened did it? You look a little different. You didn't....lose control of your 2nd form did you...?" He asked worriedly.

"Yu-huh!" Matt replied with a grin. "He told me. When he pulled me free I was all like "Who the heck are you?" and he was all like "I'm Texas, Mirai's Weapon." and I was all like "Oh, cool!" Texas looked back at Mirai and nodded. "Yeah, it went something like that," he told her. "That sounds great. I'm glad you finally figured that out!" Texas seemed relieved. He took her into his arms, looking down at her. "That's awesome Mirai. I'm glad that you've managed to figure it out. It sounds like we'll have plenty of training to do. But first..." He looked back at Matt. "Matt, do you mind going to your realm for a little while? Mirai and I have some catching up to do." Matt looked up at the two of them. "Will I be able to come back?" He asked. "Sure," replied Texas. "I'm sure Mirai won't mind you visiting again." Matt nodded and then turned, running through the flowers and over the bridge, back to his realm. As soon as he had crossed the bridge, the gate to Mirai's realm shut tightly. Texas looked back at Mirai, a small smile on his face. "Should we catch up?" He asked.

Texas nodded and leaned in. "Working all day has been pretty rough. How about we catch up in the shower?" He whispered mischievously. "Besides, after whatever happened you probably want one too...?" He put his hand on her head as he continued to grin.
