"Any whip cream?" she called, taking out the butter and sugar "It just goes really good with strawberries, I remeber." She left out the rest of the milk, and got cups

Jay blushed at this and said "I'm sure there's some there. You better hurry up though. You're pancake is going to get cold." He said with a laugh, looking at the comically big pancake and taking the butter, sugar, and syrup and placed them on the table. He slid her seat out for her and seated himself, putting syrup and some sugar on top before slicing one and biting into it. Nodding in approval, he began to dig in...anxious to find Aes.

She began to drill through it. People had remarked since she came to Black Amber that she was a fast eater (like Wedsday, and Aes when he wanted to be), but today she accelerated it more. She couldn't wait to see Aes!

Jay finished rather quickly as he set his fork and knife on the plate and said "Well, I'm stuffed." He hadn't bothered to take a drink. Drinking would come AFTER he went to get medicine. Taking his plate and putting it in the sink, he waited for Pale to finish.

She'd cleaned her plate. The drink, the food, everything. "We can clean up later" she said "Can we get going now?!"

"Yes! Now! Lets! Go!" Jay said with a grin as he quickly took her hand and began to walk briskly, then increased it to a light jog, and shortly a full on sprint to the door as he opened it up and said "No time to lock...we'll be back soon"

The inanimate figure still lay outside the castle, still entirely unconscious and unmoving. Though it was difficult to tell, he was still alive though. A fox was, at that particular moment in time, prodding the body with its nose to see if it was dead, if it could be scavenged. As it happens it was still warm though, and smelt alive... if barely. Almost disappointedly, the fox turns and escapes away to somewhere else at a sound coming from the castle. The people leaving?
So they left.
The one who had followed them there in the first place never saw them come out, but that would be expected.
What more can the unconscious do but merely lie there inanimate?

Pale returned with Jay late into the night. She'd took her time returning from the shower that Kas and Aes had, and it'd given her a nice oppertunity to think. When they came to the outside gate, Pale turned to jay, and asked "You have the package with you..still?"

"Yep" Jay said with a nod and a small smile as he reached into his cloak pocket and pulled out the package. The package was a little torn in some parts, but it was the pills inside that mattered. He put the pills away and then looked back at her, kind of curious why she had decided to stop all of a sudden "Something on your mind?"

"It's probably on the bottle" Jay said as he stepped through the door, placing his hand on it to allow her to walk ahead of him. "I'll open the package now.." He said as he dug into his cloak pocket and pulled out his key, hanging it over the rack. He locked the door and then took the package out of his cloak, unwrapping it and staring at the bottle.

"I'm going to go and wash up, ok? I'll be down in a few minutes, maybe we can watch a movie or something" she called, dissapearing upstairs.

"All right..." Jay said as he walked to the living room and turned on a light to get a better look at the print on the bottle "Hm" He said as he leaned back on the couch and set the medicing aside, waiting for Pale to return.

He blinks looking up at the castle in front of him. Ban not sure what it was, or why it was there. He simply tilted his head a bit in thought, maybe a museum? It was odd to be there for no real reason after all.

"Jay," she began as they came up to the front of the building. She didn't see the stranger "I think it'd time that we....we need to talk. The last of our problems looks like it's gone and..." she kept trailing, kept messing it up.
