In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich chuckled lightly and turned to face Daniel. " Here." He took off his other glove and started removing the boy's shirt. Once done, he got back to his feet and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. " I assume you're old enough to bathe by yourself. If you need anything just yell." he said and walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him. A mother's love...
Daniel watched his father's hands, then tilted his head as he left the room. "Mama never lets me bathe by myself," he murmured, clambering off the toilet and climbing into the bath. He looked around, eyes landing on a bottle of what looked like strawberry soap. He grabbed it and pulled it down, scrunching up his nose at the smell. That wasn't strawberries! He pulled down more and more bottles of soap, yelling for help when he was completely surrounded by them. "Daddy, help!" he called, three different shampoos in his hair, conditioner on his arms and no soap that smelled like strawberries to be found.

In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.In less than three seconds the door swung open and Fredrich pointed a gun into the room. He slowly lowered his gun when he realized no one was in the room and looked down to see Daniel surrounded by walls of bubbles created by the now empty bottles of soap. He pursed his lips, suddenly feeling foolish. Damn, he should've stayed in case. If he had then Daniel wouldn't have gotten hurt. Fredrich put the gun on the sink and walked to the tub. " It's okay, it's okay." he comforted, kneeling down and pulling Daniel out of the restroom. " Are you okay?" he asked as he wiped the boy's face with a towel. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................................................................

The boy whimpered and nodded, pushing his tear-streaked face into the towel. His wet little hands came up to hold his father's hands, and he shook slightly as he looked up at him, eyes filled with as much regret and fear a four year old could have. "I'm so sorry, Daddy!" he cried, voice thick with sobs. "I j-just wanted to be a big boy and I couldn't find the strawberry soap that Mama bought cuz I'm a berry and none of them were strawberry and now I smell like that dumb Mark and I didn't want to use me all up, I just couldn't close the bottles and I'm so sorry, Daddy, please don't be mad at meeeeeeee!"

" I'm not mad. As long as you're okay everything's fine." he comforted. Daniel sniffled as he gripped the much larger man's shirt and buried his face in his chest. "I'm okay," he said, shivering slightly in the towel. "Do I gotta take another bath?" asked the boy, head lifting to look up at his father.

The boy moved his feet from side to side, small body practically swallowed up by the large fluffy towel. "Hey Daddy? What's that?" he asked, pointing up at the shelf in the closet. There were a few boxes, but the thing that had caught his attention was a board game called Clue left there by Ellery just in case.

Unfamiliar with it, he quickly changed the child then walked over to it. He pulled it out and looked down at it, a nostalgic smile spread across his lips. " It's a game called Clue." he said, forgetting about the question of how it got there. " It's been some time since I've played this." The last time he played it was - His smile faltered - with his parents. He managed to slide off the bed, walking over to his father and holding his leg as he looked up curiously at the game. "Let's play it before bed!" he said, reaching for it. "We've got time before my bedtime, right?"

Daniel nodded excitedly, then sat at the table and picked out the piece he wanted the most: Professor Plum. He held out the Mr. Green piece to his father, smiling. "Here! You can be the green guy!" He then grabbed out three random cards and put them into the envelope, dealing the cards between them and looking at his cards. "Ready? You roll first, Daddy."
