Rydek felt like he was almost done now. As he managed to find a final piece, something else came to him. It was a flicker of an image. Was it a bracelet? Or something... he wasn't really sure what it was.
It didn't matter. He had everything now. The goddess should be pleased.

Someone was waving in their direction, and Yacha lifted a hand to wave back. "Are you collecting fragments too?" she called out in the direction of the new person. A fragment drifted by, but Yacha was busy waving.

"I am!" And small hands clasped around a drifting fragment before she grinned at the figure. "I've collected three so far, how about you?" She sounded so chipper, but that sweet smile faltered for just an instant as anger and annoyance flared through her. There and gone without a trace, and with no provocation. It left her blinking, surprised, before she shook her head and focused instead on the girl before her.

"I have three!" Yacha answered. "I think Atictel has got all of hers, but I'm still catching them."
She tilted her head slightly as the other girl's smile dimmed. "If the fragments are telling you you're bad, you shouldn't listen," she advised solemnly. "The Goddess said to collect them, and that's what we should listen to." She glanced back to Atictel. That was what the taller girl had said; it had made Yacha feel better, and now she wanted to share.

The fragment moved away from him, and Ri didn't bother chasing it. There was no reason to, especially since he had been having such good luck in gathering the rest.
And there was always the possibility that it wasn't his, that it was for somebody else.

Wyng wandered back in after having her butt kicked by that monster. She was not happy, rather she was grumbling to herself the entire time with her head down. It would be surprising if she did not wind up running into someone with all of the fragment catchers running around.

"Not exactly," she admitted quietly, dropping her gaze to the her feet. "They aren't saying much, but it felt weird." How do you go about explaining emotions when you didn't quite understand them yourself?

She was still trying to work out what she was trying to say when another fragment drifted past her ankles and pulled her attention. She grabbed for it, but not quickly enough.
"If I catch one more, I think maybe it'll help." Her voice was soft, uncertain, but she was already walking towards another fragment.

"I'm sorry, I need to do this!" She was off and running after a shimmering fragment, waving over her shoulder before disappearing into the fog.
When she caught it it made her stumble, memory crashing into her. Something was missing, something greatly important, but she didn't know what!

The fragment that he had gone after had darted away from him, but this time he did attempt to go after it. No luck, but he was kind of enjoying this. They were a challenge, but not a hard one, and it was nice to have a goal to achieve. He wasn't sure what would happen after he caught all of them and offered them to the goddesses, but he did hope that it would come with another task.
Things made more sense when he had a task to do.

[Eir enters from Infinite Path]
As the time has passed, Eir noticed that the number of shadows still doing the Fragment Run (he decided to call it that out of fun) has dwindled. Some of the shadows are now like himself-corporeal, slightly having clearer outline to distinguish them from the fog. And if it not all, their 'heart' glowed with more power.
He didn't see Wnyg, but that is fine. The Spire is a pretty small place, so he's bound to run to her sometime---
At least, not when she's holding something, of course.
Now where to find another shadow to take down the monster?

She had dozed off? Her eyes snapped and she rubbed them, looking around at her surroundings. Not much had changed and she grumbled, feeling an odd urge take her elsewhere. There was more to this place to explore, certainly. Maybe she would find others looking for purpose there as well.

Mel'ae's eyes glinted as she saw a nearby male figure move near her. Now was a good time, especially considering that this one didn't seem too preoccupied with gathering the fragments like many of the others had been. Unknown to the other she hopped down in front of him with a wide grin.
"Hello!" She said, swaying her body side to side with a curious aura about her. "Did you finish too?" Her grin continued and seemed to linger as she stared at the other, the glint in her eye never fading as her wide eyes continued to gaze at him.
Seemed she'd been waiting for this moment for a good long while.
