"Lead on." Garreth trailed after Zevv but made note of where they were going. More than one scent meant that it was moe likely a fight would break out. "How ood is your friend in a fight by the way? Just in cas."

'Well if there magic.' he thaught stting up and bushing the ice and snow off her. "Well it's not like we're stelaing them." she siad going over to one and picking it up, much of it was faded and torn but barley readable, almost not worht the effort ut ti was better than nothing.Of course they didnt have a lot of time to dally here it was getting ate in the day and she hated cmaping in the snow."Jus grab the ones still readable and let's leave. After gettin out of run

Running into Zev otuside wasnt what she'd been expecting. She didnt reconie the man with him but assumed hm a Compaion as htey were his new associates. "Zev." Sonja was more put off not by Ze's request of her seeign some old men on a mautin or the strang wild hutner next to hm givign her flattery What got her was cicero usign her name, it wa always Kindly stranger, sister or Lisnter. She had been covnced he did't evne know her anme.
"How is it an idea if I"m stating a face ZEv?" Garreth asked while giving Cicero te same look he was being gven. Two forces attmepting to move events were now meeting and it wasnt pleasent one. Though he thaught absentmindly how pleased Father would be leaning of this one's reamergances, and so close to the prize to.
"So you want me to go with you to the top of a mautnine and tlak to some men for the prupose of saving some other people?" Her tone wasnt pleased and she was annoyed and she also wanted to get Cicero away form Zev. She coudl feel him tensing next to he and had a mnd to orer to remain still, but that would leave to akward queshtions.
Cicero rarly ever got this tense.

'And your sudden itnerests in tis is because?' Sonja shot a glance at Cicero studying him as to fidn out just why he was now wanting he to go with Zev, well why he was fine with it so long as the other didn't come along. Though with a degree of fustration she coudlnt read him, despite his outwardsimplistic nature and behaivor she leanred with increasng disconfort and no small amount of unease that she coudlnt read him. 'Are you testing her little brother? If so than tis will be interesting.' Garreth thaught taking a kean notice in Sonja's body postre and how she glanced quickly to the other and he was watching her with a cold lok that only hinted of intent. "As Zev said she would be safe enoug n the joureny. I am more than capale of keepign her company ifthat is a cocnern." He offered up.
"If I disred anyone company I will ask for it." Sonja was quick and didn't like to be discussed as if sh was somehting of prize. Small though she may be she would tear the man's eyes out if needed. "I do however have an errand ot run first Zev. Than . perhpes I can. Theworld ending does seem to e a it inportant though why they want me and not you s a ystery. Garreth watied well enough before spekaing again, sonja was out fo earsot when hechose his next words. "You know the hostility I get om her but not you. You should know my preferance by this point. Besides I'd be more worried about the fool with her. Kind of odd wouldnt you think? That someone who helped on the road months ao is now her traveling compain. Unless htat is just me of course and she's finding another osrt of amusment with him."

She waited till they were out of the runs and on their horses beofre stlakig again. She veeed Shadowmere to cut his forse off and grabbed the other horses riegns so it coudlnt run awya beofre dmandng to know. "What int he Void was that?" She hissed out angerly. In truth Sonja wans't unhappy to have distance between her and cicero. The last time she had been aloen with im he had , and f she was honest, scared he. His shift sin moods and to be frnak sanity were as fast and random as they were unsettling. when she ifnroemd Nazir that she would e leving for some time again he ha ben disapoitned but undestood the silent quehston was was Cicero coming. She had sad no and she almost wanted totake it back as Nazir's cringed at the idea of being alone with him.

"Also Zev if Alva felt a contact would betrya us she wouldnt' use him." She said simply.

Rojis prided himself on two things and tow things only His magical skills and his taste of fine drink. Both of which were, in his opinon, were top noutch. His taste for gold was laso a good second runner and although he lathed the idea of helping a mothy wood elf survent et sensitive infroamtion, Alva was payin a great deal of coin for it.
It hadnt been difficult to get the information or the boy intot he dungeon, the hard part was keeping him qui and to not hav ehim ruin eveything The boy cringed whenever Rojis had to gra him, for shperfomaces only, and he could tell the wood elf wanted ot punch him as much as he wanted to run.

The cold cy ir did nohing for his burned face as he careful stepped out of the cave with the elf in two. He reconied Alva but not the other two waiting with her, regardless it mattered not. "The contents that were requsted and all assoiated papers and I even braught he boy back. Much to my dismay." H chuckled as malborn pulled away form him as if he was made of venom. "I trust my payment is secure Dear?"

"As alwys a pleassure doing buisness now if you will excuse me there are some fne drinks waiting for me back in that borng exuse of a party." Rojis gave a uick bow before turning to leave.
Sonja took one of the books that Alva held to see what was in it. "Dragon Invetigation and Blade members possible identies and locaitons?" She siad reding it. As enlightening as it was to learn that the Thalmar had no better idea of what was happenng than nayone else this felt far moe in the Baldes interest and not the dragonborns.
"Ims ure Delphine will be happy to have those books and the information they hold. As for me the Thalmar will be hutnignme for the rest of my life assuming that half burned alive high elf doenst reveal my locaiton right as he gets back." malborn kept glaning over hi shoulder as if expecting said high elf to be accompaned by more soldiers.
"If his intetion was to capture yo I think he would have done it already." Sonja commented off handidly while flipping threw the books. "Well aside form the Thalmar knowing as much as anyone else this Zev has only benefited the Baldes. Chamring. and tot hink I wasted a perfelty good favor on them." She was feeling a bitter taste in her mouth but nothign could be done about it now.

"Time wasted is bette than time spent dead. but regardless least we know the Thalmar are as lost as everyone else is aorund here. So depending on if we really want the blaeds knowing this or notwhat should be our next move?" it didn't tkae a genious to know that tim was startng to run out. Dragons were appearing in far greater frequentcy the Jarls were forced to take in as many civiklans as their ities coudl hod but it was nver enough. bnadis were praying on the ones fleeing and rnnin but burnt corpses literaled the land alng with small villages and forts.
Sonja was fidning her need to balance her positon in the Brothehrood wiht this growing need of beign a Dragonbon beocmng a strain. She hid it but she knew ths was going to get harder as tme went on. "however as much as I dislike the Bles I'm not o petty to think we cna do anythng right now without them Zev. I mena aside form haivng contats with Alva that'ss all I cna offer. Last I checked though the compions weren't interested in shadow games."
