Parker Loupohl ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦The boy was afraid enough of the ones rattling the bars and screaming at them, but at least they just passed them. The detective stopped in front of the worst, scariest guys there, and when the doors were hit, he let out a girlish screams and grabbed at the man's coat, shaking where he stood. He closed his eyes, suddenly wishing that he'd just stayed in his father's office like he was supposed to. He wished even more that his father was there. No one protected him like Sawyer did. His father still picked him up and carried him away from harm! " Fine, fine, I'm sorry I followed you!" he cried out, trying to hold back tears of fright. Unfortunately, it was either tears or urine, and both were humiliating. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Ignoring the quivering boy, Fredrich continued to watch the two inmates rage in their cage. He showed no emotion, it was as if he was watching a random TV show for the mere sake of passing time. Then, with quick movement, he shot a gloved hand out and gripped the fat man's beard, slamming his face against the very bars he had been fighting against. The lanky man stumbled in surprise, but before he could lash out and try to protect his friend Fredrich had a gun pulled out and aimed it at the man. He stared at the barrel that was pointed at him, gulping thickly. Fredrich's empty expression never changed. His arm was steady and everyone that could see knew that he wouldn't feel a thing if he pulled the trigger. In the middle of the tense, silent moment, Fredrich moved the gun without moving his eyes and fired a bullet into the hallway, letting the bullet ricochet off the floor and frighten the reckless criminals, but he knew from his angle that it wouldn't hit anyone. " Let me make one thing clear!" his deep voice bellowed, just as loud as the bullet that silenced the entire hallway. His grip on the beard loosened enough for the fat man to try and lean back, but Fredrich quickly slammed his face back against the bars. " In here you have no rights or freedom. You gave that up when you got arrested and I will not hesitate to remind you just how low you sank!" He pulled harder at the man's beard until he saw tears prickle his eyes, then, with an unamused grunt, he let go. " Parker," he said lowly while exchanging his gun for his keys. " I'm going to open this cage. Either run back to your father's office or stay behind me. Understand?" he explained while sorting through the different keys. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Parker Loupohl ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦The boy caught his breath as the man roughly and effectively silenced the entire hall. He gulped, staring up at Fredrich with big, admiring eyes. God, he's so cool!, thought the boy, unafraid now that he knew how in-control Fredrich really was. No wonder that kid from before looked so happy when he skipped out of the guy's office, this tall man was a total superhuman! When spoken to, Parker had quite a choice to make. Either he ran back to his father's office and waited in boredom, or he stayed and got a taste of what his father had given up for law and what this awesome bespectacled man did every day. With a decisive nod, he stood behind Fredrich and clenched his fists by his sides, trying very hard to be brave. " Yes, sir!" he said, still very afraid, but putting on the bravest face he could muster. Strangely enough, the detective's son skipped down this hall to get to Fredrich's office from the grey room, sometimes by himself, and never even flinched. Maybe being the apple of Sawyer's eye had weakened Parker, but nothing could make Daniel afraid. Not while his father was a cold-blooded assassin and his mother was open to hiding bodies on his own time. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich opened the cage up and slammed the two convicts against the wall, cuffing their hands together. He ordered them to move and though they had hatred in their eyes they silently obeyed and walked ahead of him. All of the criminals in the other cages were quieter now. Some still gripped the bars and glowered at him, but many of them looked down to avoid those cold, demonic eyes. At the end of the hallway were two other cops, both of which were alarmed by the gunshot they had heard. " Good timing." Fredrich said as he reached the two, causing them to tense up. He pushed the criminals towards them. " Get them ready for the interrogation room. I'll be there shortly." When the cops left with the two, Fredrich turned to look down at Parker. "You can't follow me this time." he said. " What I'm about to do isn't for someone like you to watch. If you're that bored then you can go into my office and play on my tablet. I keep it there for when my son is here." he said while handing him the key to his office. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Parker Loupohl ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦Parker gulped and nodded, taking the key and turning tail for the offices. He paused before starting to run, and smiled a little. " So cool," he whispered to himself, then ran like something was chasing him, his tennis shoes slapping hard on the concrete floor. Once free of the cold, frightening hallway, the preteen wandered until he found himself back in Fredrich's office, taking the tablet from the desk and sitting on the chair in front of it. He didn't dare sit on Fredrich's chair. Still, he found himself to be very cold, even in the office. Unlocking the tablet, he started looking through the games, then found himself looking through the pictures. Most were boring, documents and texts, but a few were of these two other people, one of them being the guy from before holding a little boy in his arms. There were a couple of him and Detective Waltz, obviously shot by the little boy, since they were of the two men hugging and occasionally kissing. So Detective Waltz was gay, huh? Funny, he seemed so manly. Closing the pictures, he went back to the games, then caught a strange smell. He set the tablet down, then finally looked down to his pants. Embarrassed tears welled up in his eyes just as the door opened again, the brunette from before blinking at the sight of a young boy with peed pants. " Hey, are you okay?" he asked, stepping inside and setting a hand on his shoulder. He glanced downward, then reached for Parker's hand. " Hey, let's get you cleaned up." Parker was reluctant to go, being far too old to still cry about something so dumb, but the guy he now knew was the cool detective's boyfriend was so nice, and his voice was so soothing, that he nodded and let himself be led from the room and into the bathroom. ~~~ Ten minutes later, Parker walked out of the bathroom wearing a pair of pants too tall for him, just snug around his hips. He had to roll them up a lot, but was grateful either way. The nice brunette walked out behind him, handing him a plastic bag. " I washed them as best as I can, but make sure to put them in the washer as soon as you get home, just in case," he said, setting a hand on Parker's back as they walked back to Fredrich's office. " So, you gonna tell em what happened?" Parker shrugged, too embarrassed to really say anything. The brunette nodded, then opened the door and walked him in. " It's okay, I don't need to know. Why don't we wait here for Detective Waltz together?" he offered, reaching for the tablet and opening up a game for them both to play. Fredrich wouldn't take too long, he didn't think. But, he certainly had explaining to do. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Ten more minutes had passed before the door clicked open, allowing the tall, black detective go in. That stunt he pulled earlier broke those men's pride, and his methods afterwards managed to juice the truth out of them. They wouldn't be serving as much jail time as he initially expected, but they'd be there long enough to learn how to close their mouths. Fredrich wasn't surprised to see the door unlocked, but what surprised him was Ellery's presence. " Has that much time already passed?" he mused then scratched the back of his head. " Either way, I finished what I needed to do. Give me a couple minutes to file some paperwork and I'll be done for the day." Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Parker Loupohl ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦Ellery rose to his feet, having set up the Netflix so that the boy could watch a television show. " Actually, I forgot my bag in here earlier, so I returned to get it and found a boy in your office." He moved closer, voicing lowering. " A boy with wet pants and tearful eyes. You scared some poor kid into peeing himself, Fredrich. What did you do this time?" He crossed his arms, knowing that if he told Daniel that he'd found a frightened kid in Fredrich's office, the little redhead would try to beat up Fredrich for being a "bully". ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." Nothing, believe it or not." Fredrich said as he looked at Ellery, his arms crossed. He knew the boy had cried - he clearly heard that - but he had no idea he wet himself. " He decided to follow me down to the cells no matter how many times I told him to stay here. At least now he won't be tempted to do anything that could land him in jail." Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Now, I'll be surprised if he ever gets detention." Sighing, he shook his head, then gestured to the kid. " So where are his parents?" he asked. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." I protected him." pressed Fredrich. He looked back at the boy when his parents were brought up. " His father is the lawyer of the precinct. A defense attorney, which surprises me. I think he left with Tealy and Cameron earlier to cure their hangovers. Or for Cameron to openly laugh at him." he explained, saying nothing of Parker's mother in hopes that Ellery would catch it. " Are you going to tell his father about it? Because I'm sure he'll be confused by the change in pants." He set a hand on his hip, one eyebrow quirked. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." He was a detective before he became a lawyer, give him five minutes and he'll figure it all out." Fredrich said. As if on cue he heard a loud noise and turned halfway to better hear what was happening. " Don't be so upset, Cap'n!" chimed Cameron as he strode him, smiling at the short blonde that was storming to his office. " She gave you a free donut! I'd act like a kid too if that got me free food! Right?" he asked while nudging Sawyer with his elbow. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Parker Sawyer, who had just finished chugging his fourth cup of coffee, chose not to answer. Instead, he merely shrugged and continued walking. Passing by the detective's office, he paused at the sight of his son in there. "Parker!" he barked. The boy hastily put down the tablet and rushed out, his borrowed pants swishing as he did. "Yes, sir?" The lawyer gestured to the pants. "Whose're these?" he asked. The boy didn't answer, only looking away. Sawyer's gaze rose, looking hard at Fredrich. "What did you do?" he asked as calmly as he could. Sawyer

Parker "That doesn't explain the pants, but I'm going assume that it was an isolated incident and leave it at that." He whistled shrilly, Parker standing at attention behind his father. "Detective Waltz, you shouldn't have let him follow. You are three times his size, you definitely could've stopped him if you chose to." Sawyer
