.. What in the blazes was going on..? She jerked awake, feeling something horribly amiss with her. Her gut feeling turned out to be correct as she brought a hand to her forehead. No matter what she tried to do, her mind was simply blank. Her encroaching search brought about an anxious feeling, a warning -- The only remnant of information was the name Luka. It must have been her own name. "..s**t."
Another voice immediately caused her to move, to grasp instinctively for an object. Without knowing it, she held a sword in hand pointing it at the strange creature. "I'll listen to your answer." She told the creature even though she clearly distrusted it. Why did she know how to use a sword? Moreover, why did it feel so right in her hand? Nevermind, she could figure out those facts later. This wasn't the time nor place.
Listening further to the creature, she had to smile in pleasure at what he was saying. Hah.. so I've chosen to fight? She didn't quite understand the creature's prattling. Moreover, she hated the fact that she was reliant upon it because of her lack of memories. "Whatever." She told herself. As long as she got to fight~ Fighting sounded so fun, so delicious. Crouching over to pick up the aforementioned item, she turned the gem stone in her hand. "Teehee, I guess I should keep this safe then." She held the gemstone to her lips, smirking faintly against it.
She hadn't missed the presence of the other girls as well. "This should be fun, shouldn't it? I wonder what they'll be? My comrades.. or my enemies?" Simply because they fought on the same side didn't naturally incline the magical girl to them. "I guess we'll find out~"

It didn't seem like that attack did anything at all to the strange creature. Heck even Tanith's bag hitting did more damage than her own candy barrage. And yet it looked so cool. She tries to summon up her courage and use the power once more.
Except nothing happens.
She lets out a squeal of horror and waves the lollipop around. "Oh please work.. "
Her head shakes quickly, as does her entire body. Out of fear. But suddenly, her fear core throbs. She stares down at wear she placed it on her outfit. It throbbed and suddenly she thought that everything will be fine. Yes... that's right. She's alive. She still has a chance to save... To save? Save what? Eyes glazing over as she tries to remember, her lollipop begins to grow large in size and then snap Alice out of her trance. She gasps slightly at this and excitedly jumps.
The giant rainbow sweet has now transformed into a sweet Mallet. It oozes goo that smell delicious.. And as they fall onto the ground, it bubbles and begins to melt the ground. A little disturbed by this, she shakes her head and rushes towards the strange being. "H-hey! Look.. I guess I can hit is really hard with this!"
Without hesitation, she swings the mallet around and slams the being in the side. Her attack causing the good to fling around and melt whatever it touches while the head of the mallet bubbles upon contact and causes more damage by melting. She's beginning to wonder why she has this type of power with candy.
And the witch suddenly appeared. "That was far too fast.. I guess we can let a person enjoy their time, can we?" But without hesitation, she gripped her giant sword with both hands. She advanced upon the creature in quick movements, taking care to avoid the other magical girls, squarely hitting the witch in the side.

Mairea knew from the moment her fingers had touched the immense structure of her longbow that there was no way she was a front line sort of fighter. She wasn't the kind of brave soul that was going to rush in to save the day, wasn't going to get anywhere near anything to fight. She was a reserve, a distance fighter who was a supporting character but never, ever the star. And hooboy was she okay with that role! Standing back to watch the chaos unfold, selecting the perfect shot, that was her type of action.
Which wasn't, really, a whole lot of action at all.
It gave the young teen a moment to think on what the shadowy critter had said. What was her wish? Well at the moment, her wish was to go back wherever she came from and get out of this weird situation where she didn't remember anything. Though...could she keep the cute outfit? Just moving in it made her feel special, made her feel adorable, and made her feel important. That was a new thing for Mairea, apparently, or maybe she just liked feeling important that much!
Too much thought couldn't be given over to this pursuit, however, because the space between her and whatever the blazes that thing was, was rapidly closing. If she was going to keep out of this fight physically, a few well-aimed shots were finally necessary.
Blowing on her fingertips, ice formed there into the shape of an elegant arrow that was immediately, smoothy nocked into her six foot tall longbow. From the minimal distance between herself and the shadowy figure, it should have been a decent hit. Problem? So many brightly-colored girls were gathered about its base, trying to strike it, that there was not very clear a shot. "Damn it." Oh! Profanity was useful!

Izzy's introduction was met with a shy smile, "It's nice to meet you too. My name is Lissa." Ah~ So many friends now. Surely if they all fought together then this endeavor wouldn't be too scary, right?
The creature adressed them all once more, gaining Lissa's full attention.
...Wish?
Lissa felt almost a tug, whether it was from her heart or her memory she wasn't sure. He insisted fighting was more important but.. If a wish she made would help her remember, was it worth it to try? She already had lovely friends now so..
A short and shallow gasp as Lissa stared in horror at the apparition that they all found themselves to be facing. What was that? They had to fight it? Just what sort of predicament and trial had they all gotten themselves into?
Lissa shakily brought her weapon forward, gulping hard and fighting her nerves not to shake so violently. Izzy was fighting so marvelously! Lissa found it hard not to stare in admiration. But no, she had to fight too!
The blue haired girl held her breath. It was now or never. She held her staff high, twirling it in hand before swiping it across the air in front of her, creating a first gust of wind that kicked up a mysterious dust cloud for cover.
Was the tangles tentacles.. or hair? The shape of the monster was odd, Luka noticed upon the pause between the first and second attack. If she didn't know better, it almost resembled a human being. But no, it couldn't be. Denying this firmly within her mind, Luka geared herself for another attack.
Whereas many girls could take advantage of agility and quick movements, or other weapons, Luka was impaired by the large sword. But she made up her disadvantages with her own advantages -- aiming for another hit. "Don't take me lightly~"

Anna's hands were surprisingly steady as she raised her bow, fingers lacing through the thorns. One might expect her to quail before such an enemy, but she did not. She drew back the thread, an arrow of sharp, purple-haloed energy forming between her fingers.
She aimed... and fired.
The arrow flew, but struck only a glancing blow. Still, the witchling nodded with what seemed slight satisfaction.

Well the good news was, she hadn't hit one of the many melee fighters surrounding the base of whatever the heck that thing she was shooting was! The better news was that when the icy arrow impacted the enemy it did exactly what it was supposed to, shooting a core of icy shudders deep through the being. The cold would distract it, would also numb where the arrow had penetrated so that when it melted, that thing was going to have much more damage than it had perhaps counted on. It was the beauty and elegance of what she considered an archer's style to be; the thrill it sent through Mairea when she heard the song of her arrow's flight was almost immoral!
Aiming a few inches higher above the first wound, the shot had become slightly harder, the arrow slimmer. There was not as much room to hit and just as much room for error. "Here goes nothing." Nothing fancy, nothing showboaty, just a girl firing an arrow with all of her concentration locked on a single point.
What more did you need?

The mysterious dust gave her a chance to dash forward, leaping up into the air far higher than she ever imagined she had the power to do. Another round of twirls of her weapon and the girl crashed down onto the enemy, swiping once, twice, thrice across its body befre leaping back into the air in a flourished backflip.
She drew once more, flinching a bit at the sudden and bold movements the others were using - if she wasn't careful, she'd hit one of them instead! Still, she trained her arrow on the target and waited until the airspace between her and it seemed clear.
She released. The strike made her wince.

It was her last chance. A faint ripple of purple-tinted energy pooled around Anna as she drew her bow one last time; the energy seemed to chew at the air, opening faint holes through which streaks of purple exuded. She drew one final arrow, which the purple streaks seemed to home in on.
"Taste my curse," she whispered, so quietly that only those who happened to be nearby could hear.
The arrow flew true, and for an instant the purple light snatched at the target. Anna lowered her bow and turned away, staring at the floor.

Archer Woe #4: You could never quite keep someone out of the path of your arrow.
It wasn't as if it had been done on purpose. Who in their right mind would want to step into the path of an arrow that was glowing almost electrically blue with magic? Not when you'd just potentially seen another of similar style thud into the body of what Mairea was starting to refer to as the Shade, doing what she thought was a decent amount of damage! Thankfully, it was merely a graze against an arm or a leg, she couldn't really tell which in the riotous mix of colors that could nearly make you nauseous watching. It threw off the path of the arrow, however, and instead of a solid hit there was instead a glancing blow.
It peeled a small chunk off the edge of the thing, causing her to stomp her foot in frustration. "That's not good enough! Alright, you've forced me to pull out all the stops. You're going to regret it!" Screaming at the thing was probably not the most productive of ventures, yet Mairea couldn't help herself.
She was mad but worse, she was determined!

A tendril seemed to lash back at the ghoul; she did not move or even try to dodge. She just cringed as it cracked over her, and felt something within her shift and break, just a little bit.

Mid air, Lissa summoned a great power inside herself. Her weapon's fan grew larger, her body spun in circles. A great cyclone formed around her, aiming its funnel down at the monster.
"AERO TORNADO!"
A devastating attack, that whirled around the enemy, pulling its limbs and extremities this way and that. It cut like a razor and hit like a hammer. The onslaught finished with a powerful bang, sending the remaining wind cascading outwards from its source. Her staff's fan became a normal size again, as she prepared to land back on the ground..
Anna caught at the bit of crystal as it spilled forth, looking at it, her jaw tightening. Then she tucked it away, looking sidelong at the other ghouls, as if assessing them.
