Beck took his new clothes with a smile and paid them a bit extra for the work before he walked out of the Seamstress and headed towards the castle. Wondering what his speech would be about before he got to the castle. His eyes darted everywhere as he analyzed everything while keeping his ears open to the sounds around him. A trait he learned from Tray for when he went undercover for supplies and what not.

Tray was slowly remember her past piece by piece. Her time with Beck and backwards. She watched as the images flew by her. The ones that she paid most attention to were of Beck when he was happy to be around her all smiles, that in turn only made Tray smile more. She opened her eyes and blinked and felt tears fall down her cheeks she frowned, that was odd, why was she crying? Sitting up she cleaned off her cheeks then looked around her tent more.

After Beck had arrived at the castle and walking through the hallway was when he was caught by Toby and was told of the news. The King blinked and shook his head after it settled in. "Fine...if it helps her out then we shall let her be." said the man. The wounded soldier blinked and looked at Beck before responding "My...you really have changed since we first met Your Highness." The King looked at the soldier with a small smile and nodded before he sent him to go and rest up before retiring to his own room. Beck stopped in front of a mirror and looked at himself. His clothes were new and light, yet extremely comfortable. The Seamstress's he left was actually really good at their trade. He left his old clothes for them to fix and redo any mistakes he made over the years of doing it himself. He then walked over to the bed and slid on his gear before leaving to go to the town square. "I'll deal with the Council tomorrow. Make any necessary changes due to the sound of my new people." said the former farmer as he walked throughout the castle again.

Tray realized as she looked at her things how lonely her life seemed even before Beck. She was remembering her father, that he was killed when she was still really young and left her the instructions to train Beck when the time came. She remembered traveling and getting herself stronger to do just that. She thought her job was simple, finish her own training, then go and find Beck and train him then they win.
It was the winning that made Tray at a standstill. She never thought what she would do after Beck won. Her assumption was that he would offer her a place in the castle and she either would or would not accept it depending on how things played out. But then Beck actually fell for her and did offer her a place, at his side. This made Tray bite her lip, it was not something she expected, she thought she had kept enough of a distance with him, but clearly she had not. And now she was at a loss on what to do with that offer.
After some time alone, she grabbed some of her belongings she wanted on her right this moment then left her tent and slowly headed back towards the castle. On her walk she happened to notice some girls off one side whispering and giggling, as she drew near she heard them talking, and it was about Beck. They were all swooning and talking about the new King. How hot and cute he was.
Tray frowned, those were the kind of girls that Beck should consider. Dainty pretty girls In dresses. She looked down at her own hands, they were nowhere near dainty, her skin was rough and calloused from holding her sword. She was dirty and by no means did she like wearing Dresses. Sighing she veered from the castle and headed for a nearby inn, that way she could be alone for awhile to her thoughts while she thought on what to do. After she had gotten herself a room she headed back for her tent to gather everything else she had inside of it.

Beck was walking by and looking through the crowd, all of them smiling and waving at him, which he returned with kindness. His eyes then saw a familiar figure turn a corner and walk into an inn. He stopped and locked his eyes on the establishment before shaking his head and walking onward. If she wants to be alone...then Beck would let her be with only her thoughts. A stable came into view and he smiled, walking towards it. "I am in need of a horse." said the King and the ranch hand quickly nodded, retrieving a bronze coloured horse and said "This...your sire is my best horse. Raised them all myself when they were little but this one...stood out among the rest. Her name is Melody." He nodded and paid the man who originally didn't want his money and after some convincing, gave the man the money before he left. "Now that I have ascended to my rightful place as King...I should tell my parents and pay them a visit." thought Faowind before he slowly rode throughout the town. The horse was a bit difficult to control at first but after realizing it had a new master was when it listened to Beck's orders. After passing through the gates was when he whipped the reins and sent the horse into a gallop. She was a beautiful horse and quite swift, something Beck liked. His hand ran through Mel's mane as they rode towards the direction of the farm.

After Tray had settled in she sighed then walked to the window and looked out a bit. That's when she noticed beck riding away on a horse. She blinked and wondered where he was going. She looked down and shook her head, as long as he wasn't trying to find her and was worried then that was okay. Then she blinked, what if he was going after her? She bit her lip then sighed and shook her head, he would come back at some point and when he did she would show up and tell him where she was staying. For now she decided to rest up and take a small nap. It was strange not having anything to do she lied on her bed and fell into a deep slumber.

Beck began to ride down the road and towards the direction of his old home. The memories of his life before meeting Tray was rather boring and dull but he was thankful, and used to hard work. The memories of these and more rushed back to him as he was riding towards his home.

As Tray slept she found herself not sleeping very peacefully. She was having a nightmare of Viktor. Winning against Beck but not by his hand. By her's, the outcome in the throne room was different, Tray never hesitated at all and she swung her sword through Beck's chest killing him. After that moment Tray's eyes shot open and she sat up and panted and put her hand to her head and she shivered. She knew that they had won but that outcome, it came really close to happening for real. If she hadn't hesitated. She bit her lip and while she was still tired, did not dare to go back to sleep. She hugged her knees to her and just stared out the window.

Beck soon stopped in front of an old building, blinking as he got down from the horse and looked around. His father wasn't in the fields and there was barely any noise inside. The King quickly walked up to the door and knocked, waiting for an answer. After a few seconds he slowly tried the door and found it to be open. His heart seemed to skip a beat as it creaked slightly from his touch. Opening it the rest of the way he peered inside and saw that everything was dusty. The color faded from Beck's face as he walked throughout the house and saw no one. "Hello? Mom? Dad?" called out the adopted son as he stood in the middle of the living room.

Since it was clear Tray could not sleep she decided to go walking around the market little bit trying to think some more on what to do about this whole situation. She was also wondering if Beck was okay, she hoped he wasn't out looking for her.

The King looked in the back and saw a cross, causing his heart to drop and blood run cold. His face paled as he slowly began to walk towards it. His memories were coming back and he remembered that there was nothing in the back besides their equipment. Once he arrived at the pieces of wood was when he read his fathers name that was crudely carved in with a piece of rock. Beck fell to his knees and felt tears well up in his eyes. "No...dad...I wanted you to see me become king...I wanted you to see my success." His voice shook with every word and choked up on others.

After awhile Tray sighed she still had not seen beck returning so now was concerned. Deciding she needed to find him she went back to the palace and asked the nearest guard where the new King went."He bought a horse from the market an said something about a farm." the guard told her. Blinking, Tray turned and after finding a horse for herself she rode out to the only place she could think of. The home she found him in. Neither one had been their since they left it three years ago so she wondered how it looked now. As she drew near she noticed something strange, it felt too quite. After getting off her horse and walking it over to Becks she walked inside the house and looked around. "Beck?" Not finding him in the house she looked out a window an noticed him out back finally, and on the ground. She blinked in confusion and walked out he back door and stood their watching him he was crying.

Beck looked at the cross before he sighed. "At least your in good hands now...better than what I can ever give you." with that he moved to where he was sitting down and wrote down the date with a dagger. Wiping away the tears he said "I'll visit you every year....on this day father...and I promise I'll keep care and look after mom." with that he sheathed the dagger, put his hand to his lips and then placed them on the cross before having another breakdown, causing more tears to fall.

Tray blinked a little bit then biting her lip she finally stepped outside and walked over to him. "Beck..." she said lightly.

Beck jumped at hearing a feminine voice and turned to see Tray. He smiled before wiping away the tears and took a few breaths. "Hey...got the space you needed?" asked the King as he slowly stood up, trying to collect himself.
