Pipith
Tag Cepheith

Having to stand around while the news that others were fighting was difficult, but he had promised that he would stay. That he would guard the humans here, in case anything came for them. He rumbled unhappily to himself and kneaded at the ground beneath him with his claws, tail lashing irritably. And His was finding nothing, which was frustrating as well. Couldn't either of them be useful?

That general frustration was evident in his tone when Cepheith spoke to him and he responded, but there was still the ever-present affection for the gold. We are fine. He looks, but he's found nothing yet. Not even a...a 'wher with a log,' which he seems to think is funny. I do not understand, but he says Yours will.

Pipith had long forgotten that particular incident, so whatever humor was in it was lost on him. Do you need him? He will come back if you do, or he can keep looking.

Devith: Taunting Raith
Group B

The blue's sudden spin to meet him did little to slow Devith down. If anything the shadow dragon's actions only seemed to urge the silver on as the two slammed into one another. The prospect of fighting his opponent face to face both enraged and excited Devith at the same time. Traitorous scum Devith hissed even as he felt the wind knocked out of him as the blue hit his side sending the silver rolling, but not before he felt his claws rake across the blue's flank.

Getting to his feet Devith shook himself off wing's flaring to stare with flashing red eyes up at the blue ignoring his ichor stained claws. You are weak and a traitor! How can one such as you expect to protect your rider when you cannot even handle a simple baby?! Look at you! Pathetic! Devith roared up at the blue raising on his haunches to glare and taunt his enemy with his show. He had after all always been very flashy however tonight his theatrical flare was for a different purpose.

Devith was doing his best to personally draw the attention of the attack blue. Better that the shadow dragon be busy with him then realize that Hekate was rapidly gaining on his injured rider.

Hekate: Chasing and attempting to capture Valik
Group B

While the other rider's and dragon's had been preoccupied with the fight against the shadowy blue Hekate had put her speed on. Gradually as the battles raged she'd eaten up the distance between her and the fleeing man and as she drew close she found herself surprise.

Surprised enough to actually catch a rock the damned fool threw at her as the piece of stone glanced off her shoulder drawing a pained hiss from the red head. However that didn't stop her confusion. This!? This was the enemy rider who had caused them so much trouble? Why he was barely a bag of bones and most skeletons had more dignity. It looked like he was draped in rags and first egg only knows what had to happen to him to get him to this point. Was Keller simply not feeding his riders? Was this how he treated all of those with dragons who came to his side.

So far it seemed threats and attacks were hardly working to slow the clearly injured man down. Perhaps while Devith kept his dragon's attention Hekate would try a new tactic.

"Wait! Wait! I won't hurt you!" She called out to the man hoping to coax him to slow at least a little bit as she reached out to try and grab his arm, but missed.

"When was the last time you had decent food?" Hekate asked her tone concerned hoping to keep the man's attention as she chased after him. "And your leg? You're limping. Has anyone seen to that? Please I won't hurt you. I just want to help." She called out to him her tone still soft and calm though a little out of breath as she coaxed him much like she would have one of her scared flits. "If you ask your dragon to stop attacking we won't hurt him either. Honest. I promise as a dragonwoman to a dragonman.

[Moriath - Tag group, attacking Raith]

She couldn't hear Kleos' mind properly. She knew her rider was alive, and not dying, but she also knew she was badly hurt. Focusing through the pain that was not her own was hard, but she couldn't shut her bondmate out when her thoughts were clearly scrambled.

As the blue lashed out at the young silver Moraith struggled to get a grip on her thoughts. she sent to all members of the group. not set out to kill. Only to defend your own life and the lives of your comrades, or to prevent the traitors from escaping!>

How were the humans doing? She spared a glance down but only caught a glimpse of them before she had to focus on the traitor blue again. Pumping her wings with all her might the crimson struggled to gain height quickly. As she came up underneath the enemy she turned a barrel roll, lashing out at him as she turned in the air.

Suunath/Kindra
tag Cepheith/Narisa

Suunath was a little mollified that the humans had succeeded in slaying the tunnelsnake, one less threat to worry about for her as she (grudgingly) gave Kindra the message, her tone still seething.. at Kindra for keeping her grounded, at not being able to go and hunt that traitor dragon down... at everything....

"Suuanth.. please" replied Kindra, almost sweating with the effort of trying to keep her Dragon restrained.

Suunath's eyes widened and she turned her head, baring her teeth but not snapping (physically) at Cepheith who stepped on her tail in an effort to aid Kindra in keeping her on the ground. "Why Cepheith? you want to get your claws into him as much as i do and YOU have less to risk" she snarled for a moment then let out a 'whuff' breath of annoyance. It was one thing to have her rider tell her what she should or shouldn't do... but Cepheith was another Gold... slightly older and well ... she was just BIGGER and Suunath felt a little deflated. She continued to rake at the ground though "As you wish... " she hissed, pointedly turning her back on the other Gold (who still had her foot on her tail) and just stared out into the jungle, hatred and anger an almost physical barrier around her.

Kindra sagged when she felt that Suunath was no longer fighting against her, relieved that finally her Gold had seen sense. "More?!" she groaned, closing her eyes for just a moment "We need more healers..." she muttered, looking around at the already injured that had arrived and the slow trickle that was still incoming.

Asoth - Attacking Raith
HP: 44/60

Asoth winced from the force of Suunath's yell, a Gold wanted the blue dead? Sure, Asoth could do that, he wanted to sink fangs into Raith anyway so that was NO problem. In fact, he went to divebomb Raith again as the wretched blue decided to attack the smallest dragon among them.

"COWARD!" he yelled again and pulled his wings in to try and gain speed but before he could reach him the Blue went Between again, reappearing far above them while Asoth was left to thud to earth bodily, landing heavily, dragging muddy tracks for a little ways before coming to a stop.

He was about to take off again when he heard the order from Moriath, one he couldn't ignore, she may not be a Gold.. but she WAS a Wingleader... and for good reason too. Asoth snorted, displeased. He didn't even answer Moriath but he took to heart her command. He looked up and Betweened re-emerging above the Blue just as Moriath struck. He drove downwards again, attempting to force the Blue to the ground, his claws reaching for Raith's wings.. or back, whichever was available by the time he reached the traitor.

M'lan
Tag Tanya

M'lan attempted to smile back but it was probably not very good, quite possibly looked more frightening than reassuring, despite his intentions. "She.......she was only 10 turns..." his voice shook and he reached a trembling hand back to grip Tanya's "I couldn't do anything... i can still hear her whimpering.. hear her mother's wails" he choked out, while he didn't sob (he WAS a man), tears tracked silently down his face as he looked at Tanya, who clearly wasn't happy herself, despite her attempts. "Why... " he turned away sharply and slammed his fist down on a nearby table "WHY?!!! .... where the SHARDS did a Tunnelsnake come from that was big enough to terrify these people ... Why wasn't the fire dealt with as soon as it started?" he asked, to no one in particular but getting angry seemed better than crying shaffit "Why isn't that traitor DEAD" he snapped, reaching to Asoth to find out what was happening but his dragon was no use, he was focused on trying to tear into the enemy dragon.

He flopped down on the ground, his whole body trembling as he felt completely useless, all his muscle and weight counted for nothing while a little girl had died practically in his arms. "This.. shouldn't be happening" he said, gesturing to the party, the moans of the wounded, the roaring of angry dragons.

[Berath – Tag Roche]

<“Acknowledged.”> Berath rumbled, putting mental quotes around the word and sounding rather like her serious bondmate as she passed on the reply. Keeping her head low beside the pair of girls the huge green kept up reassuring croons, padding along ever so slowly so as to keep pace with the humans. she added after a moment to Rochelle,

She could feel him sitting up again, swinging his legs off the edge of the bed. It felt alien to him, to have his feet on the floor, and she felt him feeling annoyed and disquieted by that. Another bunk was shoved close enough to his so that he could lean over it to work from where he sat; not ideal, but a damn sight better than whatever triage was set up at the site of the party in his opinion.

[Carltis - Tag Siata / Everyone else in the snake group]

"Ha, no problem." Carltis gave a lopsided grin, shifting to accommodate the considerable weight of somebody just as muscular as and a couple of inches taller than himself.

He then really processed what Siata had said and felt his cheeks flush, and abruptly became rather glad that everyone had been too thick to bring a light source. "I'll stick with you and make sure you get there safe," he said as they stepped out of the cave. Little girlfriend. That really shouldn't make him feel as... as feely as it did. He... he liked her, and she was attractive. Maybe - maybe he had a bit of a thing for her but she liked Aleck. He was positive she liked Aleck.

And there she was, of course, and as he had thought she was in one piece. Looked like the rider she had led out of the cave wasn't doing so well though; she, Roche and Berath were already on the move. "So where are we all heading?" he asked, raising his voice enough to be heard. "Where do you want to go?" he added, directing his specific question to Siata.

Jolene
Tag Group C

She had done everything she could to avoid the meeting/rally thing. All she knew was that one of those silver riders was going to be talking, and the last thing she wanted to do was actually listen to one of those freaks. So she lazed about the candidate barracks, ignoring everything that might happen around her. But despite her desire to completely avoid everything around her sitting around the candidate barracks doing nothing was horribly boring. Once enough time had passed she wandered out, hoping that the party was finally over. However, the sight that greeted her when she entered the party area was far from what she expected.

Injured people everywhere, people frantically running around, lots of blood. Confusion was strong on Jolene's face as she stared at the sight. She was asking everyone and no one when she exclaimed, "what on pern is going on here!?"

Calitra
Tag Group B

Calitra had come to the party, listening enthusiastically to every words. When the chaos broke out she was among those attempting to heal the injured. She was less than useless though, not having any healing experience what so ever. All she seemed to do was make mistakes and manage to get herself yelled at. In the end she decided to leave the main party area and do something she might actually be good at.

This lead her to attempt to track the group that had gone after the human and dragon scent. It took quite a long time, the signs of people passing through the jungle were tricky to find at times. When she finally did reach them she was surprised by the sight of humans, dragons, and whers fighting to dragon. For a moment she stood completely still, watching for a moment to see what was going on before she jumped in.

[Siata, siask - Tag Carltis/Ralae/Berath]

"Very gentlemannish of you," she tried to smile back and all that happened was a flash of blood covered teeth from talking with a bleeding nose. "Thank goodness. Almost there."

Siask trudged behind, head down and nose against the small of Siatas back to help keep her up. The wherhandler floundered for words for a moment, and a frown took place of the almost-smile.

"Infirm. To between with those shiny-hided cowards. Useless leaders - only ones worth anything are the ones who came in here with us." Siata all but spat the words out in uncharacteristic anger, though it died with the pain in her chest. "...shards. we out? C'n I get on him now?"

-----

[Rochelle - tag Carltis, cave people, Berath]

Well, someone got angry. Rochelle blinked at the large woman; even during the Revolution, siata only became mildly aggitated. Not this angry. She didn't release Ralae but looked over Carltis quickly, up and down a few times to make sure his stomach hadn't been ripped open either.

"What Berath said. We have a healer here, I think? But the infirmary hasn't burned down I think, so we best get everyone there. You okay?"

D'lin / Plexith
Group A / Group C

Hearing the Kleos was going to be fine and looking around the cave to see that everyone was making their slow way out D'lin glanced to N'mol. "Looks like everyone is getting out alright, we should probably get looked at ourselves, Tunnelsnake are not exactly clean creatures and I don't want to be stuck in the infirmary with an infection for the next fall." He stated, mentally soothing Plexith who continued to fret over his wound's.'Are the wounded being seen to?' D'lin asked the bronze

'As well as can be expected, there are many wounded here at the party and few healers' Plexith responded. 'There is still a fight happening with the other group as well..so more will be expected.'

D'lin frowned slightly to hear the other group was still fighting, a large part of him wanted to go and help them and he shifted slightly to face N'mol and suggest just that but the movement was enough to make him gasp and hold his side tighter. No...he was far to wounded to go running through the jungle now, beside's the ringing in his wounded ear made it hard to decipher the sounds around him properly. He definitely needed to get that looked at....as much as it pained him to not go and help. "Plexith says the other group is still fighting." He told N'mol as they started back towards the cave entrance. "But I don't think we are in any shape to help."

'Indeed not, Narisa and Cepheith give their thanks for your help' The bronze stated, passing on the words.Assured that his rider wasn't about to run off and get into another fight Plexith gave a great shake as the last of the wounded were cleared from around him finally and turned his attention to Cepheith crooning softly at her in thanks for the kind feelings and reassurance she had shared. 'The wounded from the fire have been brought to safety and my rider no longer battles though he is wounded and can not fight anymore, though I still can if needed, where do you wish me to go?'

Roscoe
Group A

Roscoe had continued to beat at the snake until it stopped twitching and just to make sure he kept beating it for a few minutes more, until the chair leg club he'd brought and his clothes were spattered with the dead creatures blood. Breathing heavily and still clutching the club in a white knuckled grasp he caught sight of N'mol and D'lin as they headed for the door and silently fell in behind them.

Valik
[Action: Evading Capture, tag Hekate]

His leg hurt. It always hurt. That bone deep ache that no amount of Healer's pain reliever concoctions should take away. Again he stumbled, a whimper escaping his lips as a voice called out behind him. Much too close. Dangerously close. Valik risked a quick glance over his shoulder, eyes wide with fear and glittering with pain.

"L-L... Lies!" He croaked, head shaking quickly as he- Faranth she was trying to grab him!

DO NOT ALLOW HER! Raith roared, the volume and emotion behind those words making the pathetic rider trip over his own cane - and successfully evade that hand that tried to snag him.

Move, Valikmine.

"G-Go away!" He cried at the girl, trying desperately to gain speed. Keller would not accept his failure! And Terene... she would frown. He did not like it when she frowned. Feared it-

What? The girl said something about food. And his leg. No one except Terene ever asked him questions like that. How... did he respond? "Yesss." He hissed out, teeth gritted as he panted. "Y-Yes you will! A...A-Always pain. Never not pain." Valik babbled and trembled.

Hekate: Trying to Reason With Valik
Group B

Shards! Even if his tripping did cause her to miss her grab the whimper of pain and the look in the man's eyes was enough to make even Hekate wince. What had they done to this poor soul to bring him to this point? "It's not lies." She countered though still kept her voice soft even as she picked up speed to try and come up along side the injured rider and reason with him. If the man could even be reasoned with for that matter.

He cried out at her again. Telling her to go away even as he ran like he had the hounds of hell at his heels rather then just one red headed weyrling. Still Hekate was not. . .well she was not the best person in the world. She'd done things to survive that she wasn't exactly proud of. Hurt people she didn't want to hurt just to live another day. However even she had reserves about attacking a clearly distressed and possibly not in his right mind man. "No I won't go away." Hekate replied her voice firm and calm using the same tone she would to still a scared runner.

"I promise I won't let them hurt you. My names Hekate what's yours?" She asked tilting her head and offering the scared rider a gentle smile. "Please you can trust me. I can get your leg seen too and a hot meal. How about a decent bed and a bath and oiling for your dragon? You don't have to be scared." Hekate murmured hoping to coax the man to calm down and listen.

"Whatever your scared of you don't have to be." She offered her tone rare and sincere. "Honestly you're hurt. Let me help you please?"

Raith
[Action: Attacking Asoth ]

A 'baby' that Silver might be, be he was a decent size and Raith sure felt the resulting collision as he gained altitude. Words. That is all you are capable of. Raith said frostily to Devith before dismissing him as something of 'little concern'. However that one's rider...

The Crimson was suddenly gaining on him as the Blue snarled and attempted to avoid the larger dragon. But she caught him on the underbelly as he twisted away from her, bellowing in mixed pain and anger. He snapped towards her, rage-filled eyes tilting up towards the obnoxious Brown. A coward, was he? A cry ripped from the Blue's lips as his wings were sliced, Raith quickly tucking his wings in to dive with the Brown.

Annoying beast. He reached out with his talons, raking them down Asoth's back, sides, legs, whatever he could land a hit on. And then he was between appearing closer to his rider. And the foolish Silver's human chasing him.

Be strong, my rider.
