and really it's not the balls so much as it is the rest of the package. xd
one more day. and then I'll be free to post as needed for the next three. thank god. however, if agent code monkey wants to stage a rescue... you'll see our blood bus around town. <3

So I'm watching The Amazing Spider-Man, and I wonder how certain aspects from this movie impact the sequel. One thing I sort of want to see is how Captain Stacy's death affects him. Will it temper his attitude for vengeance? Will it make him more willing to take a bad guy head on in order to protect others? I wonder how it'll play out in the sequel.
Anybody got an opinion?

Good points all around. I really enjoyed Amazing... dare I say more than the Toby version? I will be highly disappointed if they ignore those questions. It's one thing I did like about IM3... they didn't ignore how events from Avengers might impact Tony psychologically.

Yeah the focus on Tony's breakdown was pretty interesting. Fact is, Peter's a kid, chock full of hormones and s**t. In what I'm going to guess is a few months, he watched both his uncle and his girlfriend's father die in front of him. Both deaths were violent, with Uncle Ben dying because he was trying to bring him home, Captain Stacy was to give him time to save the day.
I could imagine Peter taking this harshly, especially since only him and Gwen are the only one's with knowledgable of his secret. It's painful and horrifying for anyone to deal with that.

LadyJedi I really enjoyed Amazing... dare I say more than the Toby version? I don't know how anybody couldn't appreciate EmoSpidey. Also, remember this scene?:  Those Sam Raimi films were masterpieces. Anybody know if there has been talk of a Mary Jane character in the next one, or if they're just sticking with Gwen? I have a feeling Death of Gwen Stacy is going to happen, though... /speculation

They cast Mary Jane for ASM2(Shailene Woodley), and they teased Gwen's death through production photos of Emma Stone wearing nearly the exact same outfit Gwen Stacy wore in the comics when Green Goblin killed her. Swik!

Yeah, the girl they cast as MJ works. And the whole teasing of Death of Gwen Stacy is kind of painful. I hope they do it right if it does happen, but I won't be too surprised if the ******** it up.
One other thing I want to see in ASM 2 is more Flash. The short amount of time we saw him, we saw him as both a d**k and a decent kid. When he tried to comfort Pete after Uncle Ben died showed me at the least how good of a kid he was. It'd be cool to see that work out into a good relationship between Peter and Flash.

I'll be honest, there's pretty much nothing I want from Amazing Spider-Man 2, or any Marvel movie really.
Do I enjoy films like The Avengers, or the Iron Man series, or Amazing Spider-Man, or the Nolan Batman films? Sure. Could I live without them? Absolutely. I never wanted these movies to be made, they just happened to have come my way. The only thing I truly care about in the end is the comics; you ******** with that, and then I'm pissed. Whereas if the movies are bad, I may b***h about it for an hour or two(because I spent that much time watching a bad movie, not because they ******** up something I like), and then move on or occasionally crack jokes at the movies' expense. They just don't affect me anywhere near the level the comics do, and they probably won't; any of the upcoming Marvel movies can easily the be the greatest film ever made and knock Citizen Kane off its pedestal, it still wouldn't have the impact the comics have made on me and it'd still be something I never asked for, just got.
I completely separate my love of comics from the movies based on those comics, because the latter is not something I've ever really cared about or ever will, and they're something I can completely live without.
If it turns out good, fine. If it doesn't, don't really care. There's a reason you rarely hear me b***h about the Ghost Rider films, despite the fact that Ghost Rider is one of my favorite superheroes, if not my actual favorite superhero.
Now, what I want from Spider-Man comics? That's a whole other story, and there's not enough room on this site or time in eternity to get into how much in those comics I want to change, beginning with Dan Slott's and Joe Quesada's crucifixions.

I donated some of my goodies recently 4 school.
